I’m comfortable following specific care instructions and making sure pets get the attention and care they need. I also have experience house sitting, so I’m comfortable staying in a client’s home and making sure both their pets and their home are well cared for while they’re away. I’m very attentive and flexible, and I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own. I’m new to the area and currently looking for a full-time position, so my schedule is very flexible right now. I have plenty of availability throughout the week and can easily work pet care into my daily routine. I’m flexible with timing and locations and am happy to accommodate different schedules and the individual needs of each pet. I love having the opportunity to spend my extra time caring for animals, giving them plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away. I’ll follow their normal routine and any instructions their owner gives me, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or just giving them some extra attention and love. My goal is to make sure they feel happy and cared for while their owner is away and to give the owner peace of mind knowing their pet is in good hands.

About: I have had a dog (yellow lab) since I was in sixth grade, and I have taken care of coworker’s pets on occasion. I now have a rescue pitbull I love dearly. I can walk and play and sit with your pet to make sure they feel loved and have fun. I am currently out of school for the summer and I have a very flexible schedule, and I would love to come hang out with your pets! I like to hang out with animals and make them feel comfortable; I have a nice large fenced in backyard, and I have a car that I can take your pet in, if they like going in the car. I am used to giving a dog two walks a day, in the morning and evening.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had a love for pets of all kinds. Growing up, I cared for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, turtles, and more, which gave me an appreciation for each animal’s unique personality and needs. Over the years, I’ve regularly pet sat for friends and family ensuring the loved ones received plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, sticking to a routine, or simply providing companionship, I enjoy helping pets feel comfortable and cared for. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m currently on a career break and based at home for the summer before heading abroad again later this year. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for consistent, reliable pet care. I’m used to being adaptable from long-term travel, and I enjoy having structure and responsibility in my day-to-day routine. Pet sitting fits perfectly into this chapter by giving me a meaningful way to stay active, grounded, and local while doing something I genuinely enjoy. Because my schedule isn’t tied to a traditional job at the moment, I’m able to prioritize drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays, and give pets my full attention while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent, calm, and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, litter box care, medication if needed, and any specific preferences your pet has. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, whether they’re social and playful or more independent and shy, and I adjust my approach so they feel safe and comfortable with me in their space. I always move at the pet’s pace and focus on building trust rather than forcing interaction. In addition to direct pet care, I keep the home tidy and respectful: cleaning up after pets, refreshing water, maintaining litter boxes, and leaving the space as I found it. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I've had 22 years of experience living with and loving black labs in south Minneapolis. I can accommodate dogs of any age. I love to be outdoors and enjoy walking. My work week is full; however, I am fully available on the weekends to dote on your pup. I am a teacher. From mid-August to mid-June my weeks are full. My weekends are open. I'm available over holidays. I am also available throughout the summer. I have a small home with a fenced-in yard and a park within blocks. For the past twelve years, I had a dog, and we walked every day. I greatly miss my companion and would love to shower your dog with lots of love and care.

About: I grew up with big dogs (labs) and now own a 3-year old doberman. I frequently take care of friends pets. My parents and sister both have big dogs that I care for as well. I am comfortable with any age and size dog. I am a recently certified Physician Associate, but am taking time off this fall before starting a job in January and I want to spend it walking doggos around town. I'd love to have somewhat of a consistent schedule so I can get to know the pups (and they can get to know me!). I will be available for walks during the week days. I am happy to go for big walks, or short walks and play time in the yard. I am also happy to bring dogs to the airport dog park to play with other dogs (if appropriate). If friendly, I can introduce your dog to my young dog to play as well.
