“Dana was amazing! Ruby adores her. She was very attentive and was able to provide me with information regarding the rover services as an I am a new customer!”

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life. In fact, when I was little, I used to tell my mom I wanted to be a dog when I grew up! 😂 My passion for dogs led me to begin fostering in 2019, and since then I've helped around 40 dogs find their forever homes. I've worked with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, though many of my fosters have been puppy mill survivors who needed extra patience, understanding, and support as they adjusted to life in a home. I've fostered with several wonderful rescue organizations, including Underdog Rescue, MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, Minneapolis Animal Control, and Coco's Heart. Through fostering, I've gained experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I've also fostered blind and deaf dogs. I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops and topicals. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I live in a first-floor duplex in South Minneapolis with a fully fenced yard. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior blind Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. My younger dog is a swimmer, so during the summer we love visiting the dog park at Minnehaha Falls. If your dog enjoys adventures, has reliable recall, and you'd be comfortable with it, I'd be happy to bring them along! I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I'm flexible when it comes to crating, sleeping arrangements, and daily routines. If your dog normally sleeps in bed with their people, they're welcome to sleep with me too. While I do take my dogs on walks several times a week, daily walks are not part of our regular routine. If your dog requires daily walks, please let me know at the time of booking so we can discuss their needs and make sure we're a good fit. I provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. A few things to know before booking: • While I am home most of the time, there are occasional events or commitments that may keep me away for 4+ hours. I will do my best to communicate this ahead of time, but please let me know if your dog cannot be left alone for that length of time so I can confirm my schedule before accepting a booking. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, my home is generally the best fit for dogs who are: • Comfortable in a relatively calm household. Very high-energy dogs can be stressful for my senior dog, who is blind. • Reasonably quiet when left alone. Normal barking at delivery drivers or unfamiliar noises is completely fine. However, because I live in a duplex with shared walls, I am unable to host dogs who bark continuously when alone or throughout the night. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'm always happy to answer questions to help determine if we're the right fit for each other. “Joanna was amazing and gave us so many updates on Chi-Chi while we were away. I was so happy she made time to meet us in advance and asked many questions to get to know Chi-Chi better. We came home to a very happy pup! 🐶 🐾 💕 Highly recommend 10/10”

About: Need someone that loves your dog like you do? I can help! :) I’ve been an animal lover my whole life! I bring a calm and understanding care to every fur friend I look after. I currently dog walk a sweet 5 year old Boxer-mix weekly, but I’m excited to add more animals to my schedule. I build a bond with the pets in my care and am always looking for ways to personalize my approach to best fit their needs! -I also volunteer weekly as an animal care assistant at the Animal Humane Society! I am working part-time so I have lots of time to spend with your pet! I am available on weekdays for walks & drop-ins! I would love to meet your fur friend🐾 Making sure your pet feels comfortable is my top priority! I take the health and safety of the pet in my care very seriously. Ensuring that they receive their regular feedings times, potty breaks, medications, walks, play-time etc.! Aside from usual clean-ups (accidents/messes), I also do my best to tidy up as I go.
About: As a community oriented dog-lover, I strive to provide excellent service to both you and your furry friends! I have taken care of dogs or all kinds since I was young from Duck Tolling Retrievers, Cavaliers, Terriers, and plenty of our rescue mixes. I am an avid walker and love taking dogs out on their own personalized strolls. I have raised several puppies into confident dogs, been patient with the shy and the elderly, and am ready to play with rough housers. I am in a unique situation of flexible working hours to be available for your pets and you. Need sitting for a small mammal or reptile? Reach out! I have experience in all sorts of small friends! I am a full time real estate agent which means my hours are flexible. Most of my work is done right from home and my days are neatly scheduled to make sure when I need to be out of the house, I will be able to return within a few hours. My schedule will only be open so long as I have the time to care for your pet in my home without too many hours away. If you are boarding your dog, rest assured, they will be comfortable and safe with me. I live in a secure condominium that has been pet-proofed since day one with a live-in Cavalier who is gentle as a lamb. Dogs will never be taken out without a leash and will never interact with anything outside of the home without my supervision. With my schedule, they will be taken out many times throughout the day and can be kept on any feeding schedule you require.
About: I've had 22 years of experience living with and loving black labs in south Minneapolis. I can accommodate dogs of any age. I love to be outdoors and enjoy walking. My work week is full; however, I am fully available on the weekends to dote on your pup. I am a teacher. From mid-August to mid-June my weeks are full. My weekends are open. I'm available over holidays. I am also available throughout the summer. I have a small home with a fenced-in yard and a park within blocks. For the past twelve years, I had a dog, and we walked every day. I greatly miss my companion and would love to shower your dog with lots of love and care.
About: I grew up with dogs and cats so I am versatile, bringing the silly to the park or the calm to the rest time. Would love to get to know you and your furry family members! I'm currently at home with my baby so I'm fairly flexible with my schedule. As long as I'm not nursing, I can pop over to give your fur babies some love! Before I meet your little buds, I want to have a thorough conversation with you about your expectations, pet, and home. If possible, I'd like to stop by while you're home to be introduced to your pet and get a tour. Communication is key and I want you to trust that your pet is getting the best care!
“Haidyn is great with my pets! She provides ample exercise, love, and attention while also being very timely in communication. Haidyn has also done great with meeting the needs of my puppy, who isn't fully trained. There are things I'm trying to work on with the pup, and Haidyn does well in being consistent with my training.”

“Annie is fantastic! Our dog gets really excited when she sees Annie come to take her on a walk. Annie is a great communicator with us too. I highly recommend her to walk your furry loved one.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs (large and small) and have cats of my own. I also have experience caring for rodents, fish, and plants. I love animals, and as a pet owner myself, I do my best to communicate with owners so i can give them the peace of mind that their pets and home are well cared for while they’re away. My flexible schedule allows me to cater to almost every request, making it even easier to ensure that your pets are getting the care you prefer and they deserve. Booking a house sitting with me means I will be at your home with your pet the entire time, unless otherwise specified/requested by you. Since I don’t board in my home, there’s no need to worry about the safety level of a new environment. Any instructions will be carefully followed, and your fur baby will be safe and comfy in their home environment.
“Molly truly treats your dogs like they’re her own. She fully embraces their personality, faults, quirks, and all. Anyone would be lucky to have their pets’ taken care of by Molly, they’re in GOOD hands!🤍”

“Charlie loves walking with Tracy. She has a calming and positive nature that helps with his high energy. He watches out the window for her. I really appreciate it, along with her flexibility with my schedule.”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had a love for pets of all kinds. Growing up, I cared for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, turtles, and more, which gave me an appreciation for each animal’s unique personality and needs. Over the years, I’ve regularly pet sat for friends and family ensuring the loved ones received plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, sticking to a routine, or simply providing companionship, I enjoy helping pets feel comfortable and cared for. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m currently on a career break and based at home for the summer before heading abroad again later this year. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for consistent, reliable pet care. I’m used to being adaptable from long-term travel, and I enjoy having structure and responsibility in my day-to-day routine. Pet sitting fits perfectly into this chapter by giving me a meaningful way to stay active, grounded, and local while doing something I genuinely enjoy. Because my schedule isn’t tied to a traditional job at the moment, I’m able to prioritize drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays, and give pets my full attention while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent, calm, and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, litter box care, medication if needed, and any specific preferences your pet has. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, whether they’re social and playful or more independent and shy, and I adjust my approach so they feel safe and comfortable with me in their space. I always move at the pet’s pace and focus on building trust rather than forcing interaction. In addition to direct pet care, I keep the home tidy and respectful: cleaning up after pets, refreshing water, maintaining litter boxes, and leaving the space as I found it. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.
About: Apart from growing up with a cat and dog, I have worked at a doggy daycare/boarding facility for 5 years and am equipped with extensive knowledge about pet care, especially dog behavior. I love all types of dogs and can handle complex instructions for medications or feedings. I’ve seen it all! I am home from college for break, and have decided not to work, so I am very available. I can work with your schedule — I’m free during the week, on weekends, and for extended periods of time. I’m committed to making your pet feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Whatever your dog needs— long walks, lots of attention, a specific routine, to be ignored… I can provide it.
“Amanda has been wonderful with my dog and came through last minute to help with walks when I couldn’t do them. Kind, reliable, communicates well, and Henry is always happy to see her. I always know he’s in good hands!”

“Paul picked up Abby right on time, and reported that her walk and play time with Nessie went splendidly. The pictures were a great addition. We schedule a redo this week.”

Keewaydin dog parents share their Rover experiences
Dana has been walking our dog for about three years. She is fabulous! Very attentive and dependable. Today, our dog was reacting to the heat and couldn’t walk anymore. Dana carried her the last block home. All 45 pounds of her. We are so grateful for Dana and the care and love she has towards Charlotte.

Aichon is wonderful - remembers our dogs and their tics, communicates in a timely way, reliable and leaves us helpful notes about the walks if there’s anything she thinks we should be tracking. Highly recommend and will definitely be checking her calendar next time we have a need.

We love Danielle! She came by and did a meet and greet with the pups and asked questions to understand their personalities all before starting their weekly dog walks and drop in visits. She’s super great with communication and has the skills and knowledge to handle dogs of all sizes. Our 70-80 lbs Labradors love her and it has given us such a peace of mind knowing that they are in such good hands. I would highly recommend her if you’re looking for a communicative, caring, pet care experience.

My dog Libby just LOVES going for walks with Deanna! Deanna treats her like she is one of her own fur babies; she sends lots of pictures of their adventures out together and is very flexible with booking times. Libby and I are so happy we found such a great person to stand in for me!
