“Dana is great! She was able to handle my large intimidating dog when I needed a last minute dog walker, even though she’d never met him or been to our house. She is a great communicator, and my dog seems SO happy after their walks! We’ve used her over and over again and hope to keep her as a regular dog sitter!”

About: As a community oriented dog-lover, I strive to provide excellent service to both you and your furry friends! I have taken care of dogs or all kinds since I was young from Duck Tolling Retrievers, Cavaliers, Terriers, and plenty of our rescue mixes. I am an avid walker and love taking dogs out on their own personalized strolls. I have raised several puppies into confident dogs, been patient with the shy and the elderly, and am ready to play with rough housers. I am in a unique situation of flexible working hours to be available for your pets and you. Need sitting for a small mammal or reptile? Reach out! I have experience in all sorts of small friends! I am a full time real estate agent which means my hours are flexible. Most of my work is done right from home and my days are neatly scheduled to make sure when I need to be out of the house, I will be able to return within a few hours. My schedule will only be open so long as I have the time to care for your pet in my home without too many hours away. If you are boarding your dog, rest assured, they will be comfortable and safe with me. I live in a secure condominium that has been pet-proofed since day one with a live-in Cavalier who is gentle as a lamb. Dogs will never be taken out without a leash and will never interact with anything outside of the home without my supervision. With my schedule, they will be taken out many times throughout the day and can be kept on any feeding schedule you require.
About: Need someone that loves your dog like you do? I can help! :) I’ve been an animal lover my whole life! I bring a calm and understanding care to every fur friend I look after. I currently dog walk a sweet 5 year old Boxer-mix weekly, but I’m excited to add more animals to my schedule. I build a bond with the pets in my care and am always looking for ways to personalize my approach to best fit their needs! -I also volunteer weekly as an animal care assistant at the Animal Humane Society! I am working part-time so I have lots of time to spend with your pet! I am available on weekdays for walks & drop-ins! I would love to meet your fur friend🐾 Making sure your pet feels comfortable is my top priority! I take the health and safety of the pet in my care very seriously. Ensuring that they receive their regular feedings times, potty breaks, medications, walks, play-time etc.! Aside from usual clean-ups (accidents/messes), I also do my best to tidy up as I go.
“Molly truly treats your dogs like they’re her own. She fully embraces their personality, faults, quirks, and all. Anyone would be lucky to have their pets’ taken care of by Molly, they’re in GOOD hands!🤍”

“Keith was tremendous. He was reliable & also flexible- at the last minute we added our 2nd dog (Maisie) for 2 days. Keith just rilled with it, adding her to the Mac walk schedule. Will definitely be using him again!”
About: I've had 22 years of experience living with and loving black labs in south Minneapolis. I can accommodate dogs of any age. I love to be outdoors and enjoy walking. My work week is full; however, I am fully available on the weekends to dote on your pup. I am a teacher. From mid-August to mid-June my weeks are full. My weekends are open. I'm available over holidays. I am also available throughout the summer. I have a small home with a fenced-in yard and a park within blocks. For the past twelve years, I had a dog, and we walked every day. I greatly miss my companion and would love to shower your dog with lots of love and care.
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and proud pet parent to a talkative dilute tortie cat, so I understand how important it is to feel secure when leaving your furry family members in someone else’s care. What sets me apart from other sitters is my personalized approach to each animal. With a friendly and upbeat attitude, I create a positive environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. I know how much peace of mind matters, so I keep pet parents updated with daily photos, videos, and messages, so they can enjoy their time away without worry! NOTE: I only house sit, do drop in visits, or provide walks for animals. I work a hybrid schedule of some days in the office, but work mostly at home. To ensure we are on the same page, I will work with you by discussing scheduling ahead of time with your timing needs and any special accommodations for your furry companion. I care for pets by following your explicit instructions that you leave for me about your pet and keeping their routine consistent. I will also provide you daily updates (written update, photos, and a video) about your animal!
About: I have been a dog lover my entire life and have experience caring for several different breeds. I currently have an 8 year old Boston Terrier, Emma. She is mostly pretty lazy and chill, but she does enjoy playing with other dogs. Plus, I think it helps keep her young. I do have a fenced in yard, but when it isn't freezing I really enjoy taking the dogs to the dog park or along for outdoor activities. I live about two blocks from Lake Hiawatha and take my dog there several times a week. I also run several miles a week and would love to take your dog with me! In the future I would love to volunteer as a foster for a local animal rescue. I think that it would be such a rewarding experience! Hi! I'm Sally. I've had dogs my entire life and I've been fostering with Underdog Rescue since 2018. My life pretty much revolves around my dogs. I'm grateful to work from home. I have a fenced-in yard and two Boston Terriers. Dolly is 2 and my playful and energetic baby. Apollo is 11. He's chill and laid back. Both get along well with other dogs and are have plenty of experience welcoming new friends into our home. I work from home so potty breaks are frequent.
“Jessica is a wonderful dog walker! Our pups are excited to see her every time she comes. She even goes above and beyond and occasionally brings our packages inside when she comes by. We recommend her services highly!”

“Nyree was amazing, and I’d highly recommend her! She came every morning for a week to let my fur baby out of her kennel, give her breakfast, and take her for a quick morning walk. Leia absolutely looked forward to her mornings with Nyree, and I’m so grateful for the kind, thoughtful care she provided.”

“McKenzie is so kind and attentive to my boy. She made the time to come meet him prior to booking a walk and I feel comfortable and confident with him in her care. Thank you, McKenzie!”

“Charlie loves walking with Tracy. She has a calming and positive nature that helps with his high energy. He watches out the window for her. I really appreciate it, along with her flexibility with my schedule.”

“Amanda has been wonderful with my dog and came through last minute to help with walks when I couldn’t do them. Kind, reliable, communicates well, and Henry is always happy to see her. I always know he’s in good hands!”

About: What sets me apart is my combination of experience, safety awareness, and genuine love for animals. I’ve been pet sitting for over 5 years and have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets who need a gentler pace and extra attention. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve also cared for reptiles, birds, and fish, so I’m comfortable managing diverse household pet needs and following detailed care routines. I have experience administering oral medications, caring for pets during minor illnesses, and working with animals who have anxiety or behavioral challenges. I’m observant and attentive to subtle changes in behavior, which helps me respond quickly and responsibly if something seems off. In addition to pet care experience, I have a strong background in health and safety. I’ve worked in safety-focused environments and am CPR/First Aid trained, so I prioritize safe routines, secure handling, and proactive communication at all times. I’m also very active and love being outdoors, which makes me a great match for high-energy dogs who need engaging walks and enrichment. Whether your pet needs long walks, structured playtime, or calm companionship, I can tailor my approach to their individual needs. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of trust. I provide consistent updates with photos and videos, so you always feel connected and reassured while you’re away. I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I’m a full-time hybrid student, which means I have a flexible schedule and am only away for short periods of time during the day. I’m able to plan my classes and study time around the pets I’m caring for to ensure they get consistent attention and interaction. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely look forward to each day. I make time for play, walks, enrichment, and quiet companionship depending on the pet’s needs. Because I’m home frequently, I’m able to maintain routines and provide a steady presence rather than long stretches of absence. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routines. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and household preferences. I am very respectful of others’ homes and treat each space with the same care I would expect for my own. I keep things clean, secure doors and windows, and maintain open communication throughout the stay. My goal is for you to return to a happy, well-cared-for pet and a home exactly as you left it.
Keewaydin dog parents share their Rover experiences
Aichon is wonderful - remembers our dogs and their tics, communicates in a timely way, reliable and leaves us helpful notes about the walks if there’s anything she thinks we should be tracking. Highly recommend and will definitely be checking her calendar next time we have a need.

We love Danielle! She came by and did a meet and greet with the pups and asked questions to understand their personalities all before starting their weekly dog walks and drop in visits. She’s super great with communication and has the skills and knowledge to handle dogs of all sizes. Our 70-80 lbs Labradors love her and it has given us such a peace of mind knowing that they are in such good hands. I would highly recommend her if you’re looking for a communicative, caring, pet care experience.

My dog Libby just LOVES going for walks with Deanna! Deanna treats her like she is one of her own fur babies; she sends lots of pictures of their adventures out together and is very flexible with booking times. Libby and I are so happy we found such a great person to stand in for me!

We had a very positive experience with Jade for the two walks she gave our dog Molly this weekend! She generously spent time with our anxious and fearful dog (rescue pup with a major trauma background) on Friday for the meet and greet and didn’t leave until Molly felt comfortable with her. She came back Saturday for a walk, and Molly walked the furthest with her she has ever walked for any other dog walker. Jade is kind and patient and gentle and seems to have a natural understanding of animals, both their limits and needs. She never pushes Molly beyond her comfort level and flawlessly implements strategies to help ease her fear and anxiety. She is also punctual. Once she leaves, Molly is her same happy, healthy and playful self, versus hiding under the bed for a lengthy amount of time, like has happened with other dog walkers. Molly’s behavior after receiving her care is the best testament to Jade’s gentle and loving way with animals. I won’t hesitate to use her again for a walk for Molly. Thank you, Jade!
