I have handled deaf dogs- using sign language for commands, bells on door handles for dogs to signal outside time and understanding quiet, calm environments for senior dogs. I currently have no dogs in the house and I miss it so much! I’m excited to help your family any way I can. I’m a stay at home mom with one 9 year old boy who shares in my love for dogs. My child will be at school during the school year. My days are flexible to accommodate your needs. I’m happy to send photos/videos of your fur baby as often as you’d like! I have a small outdoor patio that is partly shaded for those dogs who love a good sun- bathing. Out front there is some grass and I have a leash attached to large tree if they prefer grass time. (I will be outside with them the entire time) I can accommodate crate training at night or snuggle with them in my king size bed! We are an A/C controlled home!!

About: Growing up we took in an abandoned cat who wanted nothing to do with us. We spent years putting out food and water, slowly building his trust to bring him into our home. At 21, I took on the task of adopting a pregnant cat. She had 4 kittens and I spent so much of my time making sure they were all safe and healthy. Part of this responsibility meant finding them a foster program that would get them forever homes. After all the kittens got adopted, I adopted the mamma cat. She’s been with me for the past four years, and lives her best indoor life.
About: Cats chose me. Eleven years ago, I found an abandoned kitten in a VW bus nestled in a cardboard box. I took him home. Took him to the vet the next day. And then made him a permanent member of my family. Two months later, half a dozen feral cats kept showing up on my roof. So I made a kitty-patio for them with beds, plants, food, and water. I fed these cats for 7 years until I had to move. In 2020, I found a very sick ginger tabby under my car. He was only 3 pounds and had feline herpes. I immediately took him to the vet and vowed to fight for him. He made it. And he is one of the joys of my life - Leroy. A very big boi now at 16 pounds of pure love and snuggles. All to say, I adore cats. But cats need to feel safe with you in their presence. A mutual trust needs to be formed, and I am patient in allowing that to happen. Then I will be giving them all the scratchies they want! I am 100% comfortable with all litter box emptying/cleaning/deep cleaning, feeding, brushing, trimming nails, and nose boops.

“Zoey is a very anxious dog and gets very nervous when going to new places. We met Rebecca at her home and we first took Zoey and her dog hunter for a walk. I was in shock because Zoey will only walk a small area that she's familiar with, once she gets to a certain point, she's headed for home. I stopped Rebecca and told her this never happens. This was my first indication of it being a good fit. We than went to her backyard yard. Zoey sat in my lap for a bit, I put her down and she sniffed around the yard, went in the house to check things out. Again, no signs if being anxious. R3becca is very calm and her well behaved dog was an indication that she has spent time teaching good behavior. I think I could learn a few things from her.”

I have handled deaf dogs- using sign language for commands, bells on door handles for dogs to signal outside time and understanding quiet, calm environments for senior dogs. I have a small outdoor patio that is partly shaded for those dogs who love a good sun- bathing. Out front there is some grass and I have a leash attached to large tree if they prefer grass time. About: I love dogs, have a home in N. Tustin with a pool (not enclosed and no dog swimmers but can be closed off to dogs). Currently I have a year and a half old male Sheepadoodle. He is playful and would be a buddy to a doggy guest! Also, I have a doggy door to the yard. I currently work at home. Dogs would sometimes be left alone if I run out for an errand. When home lots of play time, hugs and kisses! My dog loves companions. Your dog would have a play companion with my dog along with a doggy door to the backyard. Dogs have access to outside all day.
