About: Outside of loving my cat (Onyx) for 7 years, I have also cat-sat for friends and family. Many of friends have been surprised by how friendly their cats that despise strangers have been with me. I go at the pace of your cat, if they don't want to get pet, I won't. But I will certainly keep trying. I am very familiar with scooping litter boxes and filling bowls of water and food while getting yelled at by a hungry cat.

But if your dog is cat friendly, I don’t mind letting them interact a bit. My senior cat is just a little freaked out by high energy dogs but she calms down after a bit. My younger cat is probably more open to dogs, she’s very friendly and mellow. Either way, I’m happy to accommodate! I drop my 3 kids off at school Monday-Friday and I am done with that around 8:30am. I pick up my youngest at 1:40 and my middle child at 3pm. So I will have about 4 hours each day until pick up my youngest. I am also available most weekends. I also appreciated that Shelby clearly had put in some time to learn about dogs and their behavior. I’ve done that myself so I noticed in the things she said that she had spent some time on learning about them. About: I’m a dependable and strong woman who’s comfortable with bigger dogs, but gentle and patient with smaller ones. I’m not a professional trainer, but I pay attention to dogs and can usually tell when they’re feeling scared, stressed, or unsure. I also stay aware of my surroundings on walks to help keep every dog safe. I do work a full time M-F 9-5 and have a dog of my own. So I’m only available weekends for now I will follow any instruction, no matter how unusual, lol. Feeding, walks, routines, if it’s leaving the tv or music on or warm up a heat pad, etc, whatever you need—so your pet feels comfortable and taken care of.

I have a Rat Terrier who gets a long with all dogs, he loves to play but is pretty respectful of dogs who are not into it. Dogs have free rein of my house. I spend a good amount of time with them outside in the yard, they are never let out without supervision.
