Growing up, our family was constantly rescuing strays, helping lost pets find their way home, and occasionally falling in love and adding them to the family ourselves. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I currently share my home with my Australian Shepherd, Otis, and two bearded dragons, and I understand how much trust it takes to leave a beloved pet in someone else’s care. When your pet is with me, they’ll be treated like family. Whether they love long walks, belly rubs, playtime, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I know every pet is different, and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and personalities so their experience feels as stress-free as possible. We also have a crate if preferred. Across the street there is a park with plenty of grass, and two streets away there is a dog park we can walk to. Your dog will be welcomed by our two male doggies ages 10 and 4 who are friendly and generally calm. We will send plenty of pics because we know that we miss our fur babies when we are away from them. Please let me know your dog’s daily feeding routine as well as allergies, known commands, favorite treats, etc.

About: I’ve grown up rescuing kittens from the streets and healing them to health. I have two healthy cats at home that I take care of every day. They are fully vaccines and healthy. I have a passion for cats, so I am always doing research to get a better understanding of how they may think. I'm currently working full-time from home, so I have plenty of time to take care of pets. I get many breaks during my working hours. I love my two cats, I never discipline them by yelling. They are allowed on the furniture and have a tree house to play in and many toys all throughout the home. I work from home so I'm always around and I rarely go out. I like being home. I have a Rat Terrier who gets a long with all dogs, he loves to play but is pretty respectful of dogs who are not into it. Dogs have free rein of my house. I spend a good amount of time with them outside in the yard, they are never let out without supervision.
“This review is overdue! We first booked Shellby a few months back on very short notice. It was a very last-minute request, and our usual walker/sitter was unavailable. I contacted Shellby and she got back to me very quickly. I was worried because I usually do a "meet and greet" any time we have a new sitter, but in this instance, it wasn't an option. Shelby was an excellent communicator leading up to her walking/feeding my dogs, and put my mind at ease. My dogs did great with her and the care they received was excellent. I've since rebooked Shellby and plan to do so again. I'm so glad I've found this great new dog walker. Definitely recommend her services!”
About: I have been taking care of neighbors' pets from 13 to moving away in January, 7 years later, I stuck with helping one neighbor out for the entirety of my teen years, while helping as needed for other neighbors. I own my own pets as well and am very active in the animal rights community, protesting and advocating for pet/animal safety. I'm currently working part-time at a coffee shop while taking classes at IVC, but I have a very flexible schedule. My work schedule comes in weekly, so I can create last-minute plans very easily. I do not offer housing for pets in my home due to my being in a studio, which is not the best for most dogs, let alone another cat on top of mine. But I offer house sitting

About: I’ve grown up having dogs and cats my whole life! They bring me so much joy, and life is so much better with our fluffy friends. Growing up, I’ve been blessed with Shih Tzu’s, a Maltese, a labradoodle, a golden doodle, Siamese cats, a tuxedo cat, and a ragdoll. Besides my own pets, I have lots of experience pet sitting Dalmatians, German Shepherds, and indoor/outdoor cats. About: I understand that apparently this app has bad pet sitters but I can assure you I am NOT one of them. I love animals before I love humans (no offense lol) I’m choosing to do this because this is the closest I can get to almost making this an everyday job and love all different animals everyday. About: 🐾I’ve always loved being around animals and understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet! I’m happy to make sure they have a safe and fun time! I’m reliable, attentive, patient, and caring and will always make sure every furry friend feels safe, happy, and gets the exercise they need. I treat every animal like they’re my own and love sending updates and photos/videos so you know they’re having a great time! My weekly schedule is pretty flexible, and I usually have a lot of availability throughout the day. Some weeks look different than others, but I keep my calendar updated and make sure I only accept bookings that I can fully commit to! Boarding/Day care: I have a large backyard for your dogs to roam around, play, and relax! They’ll be lots of play time in the yard if not they’ll be inside with the AC on and relax. House sitting: I respect each pet’s comfort level and approach them on their terms! I’m comfortable cleaning up any accidents in the house, following feeding schedules, and crating pets if needed. There will be lots of play time too of course.
