About: I grew up with dogs and currently have 2 cats. One of my cats is a senior (almost 20 years old) so I do have experience caring for a senior pet. I love animals and will treat yours as my own! I would love to make your dog a part of our family for the day or longer! Regarding my cats: I am able to keep my cats separate from your dog, if you are concerned about that. I think it’s best to keep them separate to avoid any issues. I put my cats in my primary bedroom upstairs along with all their stuff and they are perfectly fine! But if your dog is cat friendly, I don’t mind letting them interact a bit. My senior cat is just a little freaked out by high energy dogs but she calms down after a bit. My younger cat is probably more open to dogs, she’s very friendly and mellow. Either way, I’m happy to accommodate! I drop my 3 kids off at school Monday-Friday and I am done with that around 8:30am. I pick up my youngest at 1:40 and my middle child at 3pm. So I will have about 4 hours each day until pick up my youngest. I am also available most weekends. Just message me and will do my best to accommodate your schedule. We live in a 4 bedroom condo and I have a fenced in patio and plenty of walking space throughout my neighborhood. We first arranged for a Meet and Greet to ensure that Lucy and JK got along well and they hit it off the second we got out of the car! JK asked to take the leash from me so that she could take control of Lucy on a short walk around the block. JK was very thorough and asked good questions about how Lucy would react if encountering other dogs or kids in public and also wanted to know if she had any other particular needs. I felt much more comfortable leaving Lucy with JK for daycare knowing that she would do her best to care for our girl as well as we would at home. “This review is overdue! We first booked Shellby a few months back on very short notice. It was a very last-minute request, and our usual walker/sitter was unavailable. I contacted Shellby and she got back to me very quickly. I was worried because I usually do a "meet and greet" any time we have a new sitter, but in this instance, it wasn't an option. Shelby was an excellent communicator leading up to her walking/feeding my dogs, and put my mind at ease. My dogs did great with her and the care they received was excellent. I recently graduated from UCSB and moved back home, where I live with my own one-year-old Goldendoodle Willow (who I’ve raised since she was 8 weeks old) and my mom’s two dogs—a sweet Goldendoodle and a Husky. All three love hanging with new dogs of all sizes! I’ve always been an animal lover and truly enjoy caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’ll treat them like part of the family. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns I’d love to help! Because I have a puppy at home, I have managed my schedule around her needs and can do the same for your pups! Since moving home I have all the free time working remote, I’d love to hangout with your dogs and I know my dogs would too! Our yard is fully fenced in with grass and lots of area to run. We have a separate pool area that’s closed off, but if your dog likes to swim that can be arranged as well! Our home is one story and I will be with the dogs the whole time.

About: I, of course, love dogs!! I strongly believe that pets aren't just pets but family. I have had dogs all of my life. Right now I have 3 dogs ( Cocka poodles) which are my heart and soul. I will not treat your dogs any less love than I do my own! I have a very flexible schedule and I am experienced with large and untrained pets. I trained some of my own dogs before. I have dog sat my friends and family dogs before so I am experienced with handing dogs. I am very energetic so keeping up with your dog will not be a problem. I can send you regular updates of your of your dogs as well as cute pictures them having fun! I look forward to caring for your furry family members.

They sent us lots of photo/video updates, were incredibly patient and warm with her, and made us feel so at ease the whole time. After recently searching for a sitter for Nala, I realized how important it is to find someone who will care for your dog like family, because that’s exactly what they are. My goal is to provide you with peace of mind, knowing your dog will be safe, loved, and cared for in our home as if they were my own. After spending 25+ years in the telecom industry, I am now a stay-at-home mom, which gives me the time and flexibility to provide attentive, personalized care for the pets I welcome into our home. We are located in a quiet, safe neighborhood in Irvine with several nearby parks and walking trails. Nala enjoys four walks a day, and I am happy to provide the same level of activity for your pup based on their needs, energy level, and routine. We also have a spacious home with a secure, fenced grassy backyard that offers both sunny and shaded areas for dogs to relax, explore, bird watch, or simply enjoy outdoor time. I understand every dog has different routines and comfort levels, so I do my best to make their stay feel as close to home as possible. Nala sleeps in a crate at night, but I am happy to accommodate your dog’s normal sleeping arrangements, whether that’s a crate, dog bed, or out in the open. We treat pets like family in our home, so dogs are welcome on the couch, bed, and in the spaces they’re used to enjoying if that aligns with your preferences and home rules. I am also happy to follow your dog’s specific care routine, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, sleep preferences, and any special instructions that help them feel comfortable and secure. I know being away from your pup can be hard, so I’m happy to send regular photo and update check-ins to help you feel connected and reassured while you’re away. To ensure personalized attention and a calm environment, I only host one guest dog at a time, so your pup receives lots of one-on-one love and care while staying with us. I do ask that dogs are comfortable around children and other dogs, and are reasonably house-trained and comfortable spending short periods indoors when needed. I want you to feel completely comfortable leaving your furry family member in my care, and I am happy to answer any questions you may have before booking. I look forward to welcoming your pup into our home and treating them like part of the family!
