During one of the most stressful and uncertain situations our family has experienced, he stepped in and helped us in a way that went far beyond simply watching our dogs. We had to suddenly evacuate due to a chemical leak and were scrambling to find care for our pups at the last minute, with no idea how long we would be displaced. Bernard responded almost immediately and took such a huge weight off our shoulders during a time that felt chaotic and overwhelming. We originally booked for four days because we had no idea when we’d be allowed to return home. When our evacuation was thankfully lifted earlier than expected, I reached out to Bernard and without hesitation he was incredibly understanding and flexible. He immediately adjusted our booking and even waived the cancellation fee! something that meant so much to us during an already stressful time. Throughout everything, he sent us pictures and videos of our pups and made sure we knew they were happy, safe, and being cared for. Seeing them relaxed and enjoying his big backyard brought us such comfort when we needed it most. Bernard didn’t just provide pet sitting, he provided kindness, compassion, reassurance, and peace of mind during a moment when our family really needed it. In the middle of so much uncertainty, knowing our dogs were safe and loved allowed us to focus on everything else we were dealing with. About: Cats chose me. Eleven years ago, I found an abandoned kitten in a VW bus nestled in a cardboard box. I took him home. Took him to the vet the next day. And then made him a permanent member of my family. Two months later, half a dozen feral cats kept showing up on my roof. So I made a kitty-patio for them with beds, plants, food, and water. I fed these cats for 7 years until I had to move. In 2020, I found a very sick ginger tabby under my car. He was only 3 pounds and had feline herpes. I immediately took him to the vet and vowed to fight for him. He made it. And he is one of the joys of my life - Leroy. A very big boi now at 16 pounds of pure love and snuggles. All to say, I adore cats. But cats need to feel safe with you in their presence. A mutual trust needs to be formed, and I am patient in allowing that to happen. Then I will be giving them all the scratchies they want! I am 100% comfortable with all litter box emptying/cleaning/deep cleaning, feeding, brushing, trimming nails, and nose boops.

One of our cats goes on a hunger strike when we leave, but Andrea was able to get her to eat her wet food with a trick she uses on her own cat. My dog has pretty severe separation anxiety, but even after Steven and Kim-Anh learned about it, they were very understanding and happy to take care of Mahur. I currently have open availability with a flexible schedule, allowing me to check in on your pets up to three times a day and spend as much time with them as they need, whether that’s a quick visit, extra playtime, or simply some companionship while you’re away. I care for pets in the client’s home so they can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. During visits, I follow all care instructions including feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, walks, medication (if needed), and any specific routines. I also provide attention, playtime, and companionship based on each pet’s needs, along with a basic wellbeing check each visit. I make sure pets are safe and comfortable before leaving and send updates with photos and notes after each visit.
About: I've grown up with dogs and other pets for 10+ years, I also have experience dog and cat sitting for families for days to weeks at a time. I am also a very active and outdoorsy person, I love exploring new places especially if I can bring a cute pup with me! My family dog averages about 3-5 miles a day walking and playing at the park or beach. I think it is very important that dogs get a good amount of time each day to get some good exercise to keep them happy and healthy as that has been implemented in my family with our pets. I am a college student attending Chapman University in Orange California which is a huge priority for me. Although it is summer I am taking one class that is hybrid, so on Mondays I attend virtually from 9AM-12PM (the ending time does vary day to day but typically I log off between 11:30AM and 12:00PM) and Tuesdays and Thursdays I attend in person on campus from 9AM-12PM. Other than that though my schedule is very much open! I have a car so I am able to commute wherever I may be needed. Depending on owners preferences, I can spend as much time with the pets as needed whether it's playing, walks, feeding, or some chill time. Other than my class schedule I can be available at any time needed. Whatever schedule pets may have I can adapt to fit their needs.
About: I've taken care of three cats since I was 10 and one dog for a short time. Been responsible for vet visits, bathing and feedings. I currently work till 4pm M-F so I'm looking forward to spending my afternoons interacting with your pets! Weekdays after 4pm and anytime on Saturday's and Sundays! I will follow any feeding, bathing, walking, etc. schedule provided by and in clients home. I can also help with crate or any additional trainings needed.
About: I work at a doggy daycare where I’m in charge of watching, playing, feeding, and bathing, many dogs. I have learned to act quick on my feet while still being proactive. I am a student and a part time worker but my schedule is still pretty flexible. I like to hang around dogs whenever I can. *If I don’t answer right away I’m probably working but I’m still available unless I text otherwise! I have a barking dog of my own so he is a vocal player but does not bite. If needed he can be separated from your dog so I am able to focus on your dogs needs and wants. I am easily trained so I can work around your dogs needs. I’m currently a student with a flexible schedule but I still have a dog of my own and I work at a doggy daycare. So I practically see dogs everyday and care for them. I am glued to them 24/7. I like to feel secure so I am often just playing, resting, stimulating them the whole time I’m in the clients home or at my home.
