About: I’ve cared for and walked dogs extensively over the last 5 years for family and friends and looking forward to expanding this service to others in the SB community I am a remote worker with a flexible schedule. I spend a lot of my time outdoors whether getting sunshine on the beach or on the trails! I have a pup of my own so if yours ever needs some socializing I can bring her with us or leave her at home if your pup desires more one on one care. About: Hi! I’m Eve, a lifelong animal lover with over a decade of hands-on dog care experience, including fostering, volunteering, boarding, and raising my own sweet girl (an American Staffordshire Terrier) who recently passed at 11 years old. She was my best friend and my whole heart, and I understand how important your babies are to you. I promise that as soon as they step their paw into my door, they will be loved and spoiled just like they’re my own, whether that’s just for a a few hours or for a few weeks. Don’t worry though, I will give them back…really, promise. I work part-time and mostly from home, which means your dog will get lots of attention, companionship, and love throughout the day. I walk or hike about 5 miles daily and often head to a nearby off-leash dog park before sunset. If your pup enjoys being social and has solid recall, I’d be happy to bring them along. If they prefer quieter walks, I’ll tailor our outings to fit their comfort level. I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds and personalities and always try to meet each one where they are, whether that means reinforcing basic manners, offering gentle structure, or simply providing a cozy, low-stress stay. I’m usually available most days (except Saturdays before 4 PM), and I always strive to create a safe, peaceful, and fun home environment for my guests. Happy, respectful pups get the full VIP experience. If your dog is calm, house-trained, and well-mannered, they’re welcome to enjoy full access to the home, relax in the fenced backyard, and join me on long daily walks or hikes to a nearby off-leash dog park. For dogs who are still learning or need a little extra guidance, whether it’s potty training, leash pulling, barking, jumping on furniture, or reactivity, I adjust their environment to set them up for success. That might mean using a cozy indoor playpen, taking shorter leashed walks instead of park trips, or using a crate/playpen when unsupervised, based on your preferences and your dog’s needs. I’m always happy to support training goals during their stay, from reinforcing basic manners to helping with leash skills or keeping four paws on the floor. Above all, I aim to create a peaceful, positive space where each pup feels safe, secure, and loved. ⸻ Your Pup’s Home Away From Home I do this because I genuinely love dogs and truly enjoy their company. I treat every pup like my own, and we spend a lot of time together, whether that’s lounging at home, exploring the neighborhood, or heading out on a hike. I only host one or two dogs at a time, and I’m very intentional about making sure each pup feels safe, relaxed, and happy. If I do accept a second dog, it’s because I believe they’ll be a great playmate and companion for the first pup I’ve already booked, never just to fill space, and usually just for a daycare visit. Home Amenities Include: • Fully fenced, dog-safe yard with grass, shade, an outdoor dog bed, and room to run or relax • A clean, climate-controlled home with plush beds, cozy blankets, and an extra-large cloth playpen for puppies needing unsupervised rest • Three baskets of toys in the living room, bedroom, and backyard - for enrichment and fun • A grooming brush and deshedding mitts - I’m happy to do light brushing if your pup enjoys it (with treats!) • No resident dogs — just a 3 oz cockatiel (always separated) and backyard chickens kept in their coop • Overnight guests sleep in their own plush bed or cozy crate next to mine depending on preference and needs

I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and backgrounds and can ensure your pet would be in great hands under my care. I currently work a full time job but I’m available throughout the day M-F to let your dog out for breaks, quick walks or to feed them. I can spend time in the mornings, evenings or weekends going to the park or taking them on longer walks. Since my home is small and I have a no pet policy, I am unable to house any pets. I can come to your home and either stay there or come and go to provide care for your animal(s).

As someone who has raised and loved dogs throughout my life and is fortunate to have an Aunt who is a veterinarian, I believe I am uniquely qualified to care for other people's animals as well. I currently have a 30lb scruff named Lily who is a Griffon Verdeen mix and enjoys playing, napping, and going on long sniff walks. I always have her greet other dogs on a walk before letting them into the house so that both dogs can get their excitement energy out before the house sniffing begins. If you have any questions or special needs, please feel free to reach out and discuss them. I can currently work remotely, so my daily routine is adaptable to the needs of the day. I am available for walks throughout the day and check-ins. I have a fenced in backyard, friendly neighbors, a playful medium sized dog and a dog-friendly home. I also feel comfortable house sitting if that is a need as well.

About: I've had dogs in my life since the very beginning. My first words were my first dog's name, and since then, my relationship with pups has only progressed. I have my own pup, John Wayne (9 years old, well trained), who rescued me back in college, and with his stubborn cattle dog behavior, he has taught me a lot in dominance training for highly intelligent and anxious breeds. But, patience, kindness, and exercise can go a long way with any canine pal! So, if you have any training needs for me to follow, I look forward to them! & happy to share my experiences with Wayne. I have my own business from home, and I'm looking for a way to get my pup some extra weekly playdates and fill some of my free time during the week! About: EXPERIENCE: My last dogs (who recently left the planet) were 85 lb Pit Bulls, so I get challenging (but amazing!) dogs. Before that, I had a wonderful Lab/Border Collie, so I get dogs who need a lot of exercise every day. He was also fairly non-ambulatory for a few years, so I’ve done a lot of senior dog care. Currently, I walk and foster dogs at the SB County Shelter to fill my dog void. ME: I love all animals, probably more than people. I’ve had, and cared for, dogs, cats, horses, rabbits… PERKS/ENVIRONMENT: I work at home, so your dog will have company most of the day. My completely fenced in yard was made for dogs to play. The back door is open so they can go in and out as they please, sniff around, lay in the sun... I love to walk, hike, and go to the beach, which are all better with a dog! I’m super responsible, especially when it comes to the well-being of furry creatures. While your dog/animal is in my care, I will care for them like my own. NOTE: I’m new to Rover, so may not have all the references, but can provide them for you.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a young g kid. From an early age, I developed a strong connection with animals and an understanding of their needs and personalities. I treat every pet like my own and make sure I make them feel safe and cared for. I currently work from home, so early mornings, midday and afternoons work great for me. I am also available most weekends before noon. If multiple walks a day are needed, I can work with my schedule to make that happen. Currently, I cannot have pets at my home, so I am comfortable walking pets around the neighborhood or in their own home. I will learn quickly the needs of each pet and communicate in a timely manner with any updates.
