About: Friends and family call me their go-to dog walker and pet sitter, whether it be a quick walk down the block, or a 2-week overnight stay. My experience includes volunteering at the humane society, walking pups with harnesses or gentle leaders, administering oral medication, and training with lots of affection and treats! Usually, pet sitting happens in the pet’s home where they feel most comfortable and secure. I have cared for puppies, kittens, and senior pets - some with dementia 🙃. I have flexible availability during the weekdays when your pet needs some extra attention 😊. I’m hoping to build a consistent schedule with the same pets. Generally, pet sitting includes feeding, walking, pet cleanup, play time and chill time. I feel most pets like routine and stability, so it’s beneficial to see what the pet’s typical daily schedule looks like.

“We are so happy to have Irina walk our two corgis now that I’m returning to an office a few days each week. I think I probably had more separation anxiety than the pups, but it’s comforting knowing they get a visit with Irina and burn off some energy. We love the photos and card updates. Looking forward to many more walks!”

“Ananda was amazing - she was really helpful coordinating dates/times, she stopped by early to meet my dog, and she was lovely about keeping me updated with everything! I think she’d be a great sitter or walker that I’d recommend to anyone”

“Shelly was available right away to walk my dog while I was stuck at work. She responded quickly to me and took care of my dog really well. I highly recommend Shelly!”

“Natalie is super communicative and easy to work with. She’s very respectful in my home and always confirms all the tasks before leaving. I am definitely a repeat customer !”

About: We have been fostering special needs dogs for the past 7 years, and due to family circumstances, we have to put a hold on that for a while. In the meantime, we're both part time, medical professionals and have lots of time to help out with your dog-care needs. (Robert works only from home.) There is absolutely nothing like the bond between humans and dogs, and we know how important it is for you to feel like your baby is in good hands. We're super responsive, dependable, and flexible to your needs. We've never met a dog we couldn't love! One or both of us is home every day and we love getting outdoors and being active if that's what your pup craves. Great walking neighborhood and Lake Temescal is just 5 minutes down the road for serious sniffing potential. We average 6-10 miles a day of walking if your dog enjoys long walks, and Brian can run up to 12 miles per day on weekends. No other animals in our house currently. Single family home with fenced outdoor area. Very dog-friendly and safe neighborhood. Dogs can be crated or uncrated at night (your preference).
About: I’ve got a toy poodle who lives in Oakland with my parents, have experience house sitting for puppies, and love spending time with pets. I’m reliable, friendly, and your dog will be in good hands :) I’m currently doing a post-bacc program, but only have classes on Mondays & Wednesdays. The rest of my week is super flexible for dog walking or house sitting, as long as I have a bit of notice. Let me know what things you’d like to work on with your dog, what your typical routine is, what to watch out for on walks, etc. and I’m happy to make sure that what I do falls in line with that. If house sitting, a meet & greet would be preferable first. Feel free to ask me any more questions you might have!

“Just wanted to rave about Shawn! He was so communicative and responsible + took fabulous care with our energetic (+ not fully trained) 11-month old golden retriever. He popped over to the house to meet us + made sure that he had all bases covered. He let himself in when we were traveling out of town, took our puppy on walks, sent us videos + photos, fed our dog, and locked up. We felt fully comfortable that we were in good hands! Thank you, Shawn!”

“Kristina was so amazing with my dog Gus- listened to all instructions and was very sweet with him, she was communicative through the whole process and I would recommend her to anyone who needed help with their pets!”

About: Hi! We are two animal lovers who have had pets of all kinds throughout our lives. Chrystal has raised dogs, cats, fish, iguanas, guinea pigs, and other small furry creatures. Daniel was raised on many acres with many furry and farm animals as pets. Our family consists of ourselves, 2 kids, and 2 adorable cats. Our sweet, large goof of a dog recently passed and we miss him dearly. We both work from home with a flexible schedule, so have plenty of opportunity to support your family's needs. We both have years of experience dog and cat sitting. We are comfortable and experienced with all breeds and ages and can provide medication as needed. Daniel is also uniquely skilled with larger dogs who need extra support, confidence, or attention when walking or near others. If your pet is not comfortable with kids and/or cats we can easily accommodate with scheduling and separation. Reach out with any questions and we look forward to meeting your furry family! We work from home with a flexible schedule and so can easily schedule time away during the day. One of us is available evenings as well. In the winter months we are away for the weekend, so only available weekdays (Sun eve - Fri midday) We like to know from you what makes your pet the most comfortable in their space. Any guidance is appreciated! We leave a space cleaner than we found it and are natural organizers. If you are traveling, We are particularly thoughtful about how you'd like to leave the house with lights on\off, etc.

About: From older cats and dogs to puppies, I have a large amount of experience in animal care, both in my home and in a professional capacity. I grew up with 4 cats and 2 dogs, and I was always involved in their care. I have additionally fostered two dogs, one in my hometown of Oakland, CA, and one through the ASPCA in New York. While working with the ASPCA, I fostered a five year old reactive pit bull with some major health issues. During this time, I worked with the dog on leash training, behavior around other dogs, and behavior around people. I also regularly bathed and administered medication for the dog, while ensuring that she was comfortable and happy in my home. I currently work part time during weeknight evenings and typically for one weekend day. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule which allows me to be available at off times while others might be at work. I am extremely reliable with a proven track record of taking exceptional care of animals both inside and outside the home. Animals are very important to me!

Sofia C.
“Sophia cared for my spunky senior chihuahua for a week last month while I went on vacation. I was immediately impressed with how gentle her approach was upon meeting my dog for the first time. She obviously has the experience to understand dogs especially ones that can be a little nervous at first. She took care of my dog at my home. Sophia sent me daily updates with adorable pictures and let me know what they were up to. I never had to wonder how Zoey was because Sophia was so on top of letting me know and I really appreciated the communication factor. She left my place spotless, it may have been cleaner than when I left it haha. I will definitely be having Sophia sit for me again!”

Cynthia H.
“Cyn is a kind and compassionate lover of animals. She has an intuition and care with them that never ceases to impress me. Cyn is responsible and reliable and has a lot to give!”
