About: Hi! I’m a work-from-home dad in Tacoma with a spacious, fully fenced yard and a calm home environment perfect for dogs that need peace, consistency, and a little room to roam. I only care for one dog — or one dog family — at a time, which means your pet will never be around unfamiliar dogs. No pack dynamics, no stress, no surprises. This is ideal for dogs who are mellow, shy, older, or just prefer their own space. I’m a former Marine and longtime high school science teacher — calm, responsible, and steady. Your dog will get gentle structure, a lot of attention, and real companionship throughout the day. Whether they love sunbathing in the yard, laying by my desk, or getting regular belly rubs and breaks, they’ll be safe and happy here. Happy to provide updates and photos. I treat every pet like family — because I know how much they mean to you. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home, so I’m around all day to provide company and care. I like to start the morning with a walk/run around the neighborhood — it’s a great way for dogs to get some energy out and for both of us to enjoy a bit of fresh air. Fully fenced yard! My home is a calm, pet-friendly space where safety and trust come first. I work from home and spend much of the day in meetings, so the environment stays quiet and predictable — perfect for pets who enjoy a peaceful routine. We love being able to have Walter in Lauren’s(and Dan too!) care. Appreciate the photo/text updates and that Walter is treated like family while he is there.

Dee Anne is so amazing with my pup Max! She ensures he gets a balance of exercise, mental stimulation, treats, rest time, and play time. It's so great to know he's well taken care of when I'm gone. Max always has such a great time with Dee Anne that he's so excited when he hears her name and knows he's going back to visit! Even though he's excited to come home again, he's always sad to leave her. He had an unexpected vet visit before his stay, and Dee Anne was so supportive and accommodating in navigating his new medication needs and activity restrictions. I appreciate her taking such thorough, loving care of him to help him recover during his stay.
Haley cared for my dog as if it were her own. My dog was not 100% herself when we dropped her off and left for family vacation. Things got worse and the following day Haley took my dog to the hospital and then picked her up the following day. With treatment and excellent care, my dog was back to normal after a couple days. Haley kept us updated and was fantastic throughout. My family and I are so grateful to her. She’s the best! ❤️
Jess & Vince were amazing! They watched Louis for me over the Fourth of July weekend. I was very nervous to leave him for the fourth because he hates fireworks, but Jess & Vince took excellent care of him. They sent regular updates and pictures, and Louis was very happy to stay with them
