“She did a great job taking care of my two cats! I appreciate the time she spent with them and the caution with leaving certain doors closed and making sure the cats didn't get into anything dangerous.”

“Hannah was great with Murphy. Right from the meet and greet, I could tell she genuinely likes pets and loves to spend time with them, not doing it just to make extra cash”

“Bex was such a great first experience using Rover. She kept us connected with photos and messages letting us know how each check in went. She made our first time away from our animals super positive and will definitely use her again! Thanks Bex!”

“Katrina is warm, communicative, and so great with our dog Crystal. We have asked her to drop in on her on two separate occasions and Chrissy is always well taken care of and happy!”

“Jamie was very reliable and took great care of our cat while we were away. She spent extra time cuddling and playing and always sent pictures. We will absolutely hire her help again!”

“Tandi was great! Aside from being a really good person she loved on my Henry like he was her own. I was in a bind - having to go out of town and trying to find someone - and she came thru for me and I really appreciate it. I also really recommend her. Ps. In a news reporter so I wouldn’t write this if I couldn’t back it up :)”

“We've always been nervous leaving our fur kids. Christa just changed that for us. She was great at finding everyone and getting food to all and even persistent to make sure the one took her med. We will definitely use her again.”
About: My family has had dogs my entire life so I am experienced in dog care, I also watch the dogs of some of my friends when they are out of town. I am a grad student so my schedule is very flexible. I am able to check on cats in the morning and at night, helping with routine related activities (e.g. feeding, changing water, etc) I have a safe and secure home with minimal clutter, since I myself have a cat I make sure to keep dangerous things out of his reach and am conscious of reducing risk in all situations. For example, my cat does not have access to bags (to reduce risk of suffocation), or medicines, or sharp objects.
“Laura took amazing care of Chrissy during a last-minute drop-in request. We really appreciated her communication and all the pictures she sent. We will definitely connect with Laura again in the future!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! Dave is dependable, kind and wonderfully attentive to detail. His calm, grounded presence gave me total peace of mind while I was away- I knew my furballs were in safe and caring hands. Dave brings a rare blend of maturity, warmth and genuineness that made the whole experience stress-free. I loved his thoughtful updates and fabulous photos. Highly recommend.”

About: I bought a dog last semester of college. I was 20 years old and learned fast how to care for them. I grew up always having a dog around as well. I am currently a student at Penn State, but also am always making time to care for my own puppy, who loves being with other doggies. In my home my dog plays outside where it js fenced in. I feed him twice a day, play with him, and take him for at least one walk every day.
About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. For one, I have dog sat for multiple dogs at a time, making me accustomed to managing responsibilities and keeping pets safe and happy. Additionally, I’ve had multiple dogs in my household my whole life, giving me a deep understanding of dog behavior, routines, and needs. I have been responsible for helping take care of the dogs since my early teenage years. Most recently, I was the primary caregiver for my six-year-old Australian Shepherd, whom I helped raise from eight weeks old. This involved training, socializing, daily exercise, feeding, and providing consistent care and attention. My lifelong experience with dogs, combined with hands-on dog sitting, makes me confident in providing reliable, compassionate, and personalized care for your pets. I have a very flexible schedule as a part-time student this semester, so I’m available to dog sit at almost any reasonable time during the week. I can adjust to fit your pet’s needs, including walks, feeding, or playtime. While I’m usually unavailable on weekends, I can occasionally accommodate weekend care if arranged in advance. I can feed, walk, and play with dogs of any size, from small to very large. I’m comfortable with all breeds and temperaments, and I’m happy to accommodate any typical requests from a dog sitter or dog walker, ensuring your pet’s routine and needs are fully met.
About: Growing up my family had a miniature schnauzer and we were lucky enough to have her in our lives for 18 years! I would walk her every day, administer tick and flea medicine, teach her tricks, make eating her food fun as she got older, took her to the groomer, and of course gave her lots of attention and playtime. I've also walked a handful of my friends' dogs before either just around the block or for a few miles depending on much exercise they need. I'm also familiar with drop in visits to feed dogs dinner or let them out to run around in the yard. Right now I work part time so I have some availability during the work week, as well as the weekends. I'd be happy to come walk your dog before work, let your dog out (and or walk them) around lunch time, feed your dog or cat breakfast, lunch or dinner, as well as just spending time playing with your pets and making sure they are getting the attention they need when you are away. When I am in your home I will be diligent to make sure I am providing your pet the care that you have asked for. I like to know what is expected of me to make sure I provide quality care so I may ask some questions to ensure I am successful!
“Irene was great with dropping in on my two cats while I was away on a long work trip. Both my cats are unique, and she understood immediately how to work with their different temperaments. Also, she was able to communicate well with me throughout the 10-days. When I was having issues with the Rover app, she was understanding and helpful and we quickly figured out any issues. I’d recommend Irene and work with her again. Thanks!”

About: I love all kinds of dogs! My childhood wish finally came true when I was in high school and my parents decided to get a family dog when I was the only kid left in the house so a lot of responsibility fell on me. My family dog, Willie, is now 5 and I have been the primary care giver while pursing my academics. I understand the different needs for various types/ages of dogs such as length of walk, amount of food/treats, type of toys, attachment, etc. I'm currently in my last semester of college at Penn State so my class schedule is very flexible. I have 3 in-person classes and the rest of my classes are online so I am very available to help when needed. I also have a car at my apartment so it is easy for me to drive around the State College area. I care for pets in my own home by making sure the house is "dog proof" and ensuring there aren't any objects out and about that could harm the animal. I also care for pets in clients homes by respecting their space and making sure the home is neat after caring for their pet.
“Kristen was available on a last minute booking when I had an emergency drive to Philadelphia. She was communicative, responsive, friendly, and I can tell Gunner really enjoyed spending time with her at the drop ins! She sent such cute pics too”
“Leigh did a wonderful job!! We appreciated her communication and how thorough she was with feeding and walking our dogs. We would definitely have Leigh again to take care of our fur babies!!”

Esmee did an incredible job taking care of my cat Teto over the winter period. They were always on time and did everything I had asked of them, and more! They were incredibly attentive and would play with him each day. I'd highly recommend Esmee to anybody who's looking for a reliable and sweet pet sitter. They also sent me sweet photos of him every day!

Jana did a great job with looking after our cat, Sook. She was very accommodating with our cat, who suddenly and unexpectedly became unwell. She very kindly looked after him and cleaned up after him, and even came in for an extra visit on short notice when we were really concerned. She gave us lots of updates and pictures and became a real friend to our cat—it seems like he has truly bonded with her. We can’t thank Jana enough for her love and care for our cat!

This was our first Rover experience, and Madison exceeded all expectations. We have two small dogs, one of whom is very reactive and fearful of strangers, so we were nervous going in. Madison scheduled a meet-and-greet, was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and unfazed by all the barking. She took the time to understand each dog’s individual needs and helped them feel comfortable at their own pace. On our first day out of town, she sent tons of pictures and videos, which gave us such peace of mind. Our dogs were comfortable and did better than we ever expected. We will absolutely rebook with Madison and highly recommend her. She is kind, patient, and genuinely cares.

Laura was absolutely wonderful!! I was in a bind when my original plan did not work out and Laura was willing to commit to watching Archer with short notice. I felt so at ease with her watching him, especially while being across country. She sent daily photo updates and really put time and effort into making Archer feel comfortable. I will definitely be reaching out to her in the future!

Emmy was fantastic with my cat 💕🐈 She was so sweet and communicative which gave me peace of mind while I was out of the country! Not to mention that my cat absolutely LOVED her from the moment she met her! Emmy made sure Cleo got quality social time, not just the basics which was exactly what I wanted. Very, very happy with this booking and cannot wait to have Emmy watch my girl again for several upcoming trips this year! Couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Elisavet took great care of my two cats. I never really leave them alone, so I was hesitant at first, but I felt very comfortable with her taking care of them. My cats are rarely social, but the less reserved one immediately loved Elisavet (and he never lets strangers touch him) so I knew they were in good hands! Elisavet was also very responsive and perfectly followed my detailed instructions. She even offered to do more than what I asked, which shows her dedication. I would 100% let her take care of my babies again!
