About: I am an Animal Science student at Penn State with experience working with a variety of animals. I was born and raised on a farm and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and livestock. I am comfortable with feeding, exercising, monitoring behavior, and keeping animals on their normal routines. I’m responsible, dependable, and genuinely love spending time with animals. My availability on weekends can vary as i do travel home to help out with the family farm, but I am more than willing to work with clients and make accommodations! When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping them comfortable and maintaining their normal routine. I’ll follow their usual feeding, exercise, medication, and bathroom schedules and make sure they receive plenty of attention and playtime. I’ll also keep their space clean and tidy and give them lots of love and companionship while you’re away. About: I've had pets in my life since I was a child - dogs, cats, rabbits, and rats! I currently have one large dog (German Shepherd mix) and a cat. I'm comfortable caring for all sizes and types of dogs, any cats, or other small animals. I've worked with a trainer for my own dog for reactivity, and have experience walking and taking care of large dogs. About: I grew up in a home that was always full of animals...both big and small. My mother has been a dog person since before I was born, so from an early age, I was attending obedience and agility classes with her, and even participating in a few competitions. By my early teens, I had become the go-to pet sitter for friends and neighbors, regularly caring for their dogs. For five years, prior to 2020, my teenage daughter and I volunteered at an all-volunteer, no-kill animal rescue, where we served as dog walkers and cat caretakers. That experience gave me hands-on skills with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. Until recently, I lived with two dogs of my own (my ex-partner’s pups), and I still frequently care for my mom’s two dogs when she is away helping my sister with her young children. In addition to dogs, I have years of experience fostering and caring for cats, so multi-pet households are second nature to me. Animals have always been a central part of my life, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality while providing them with the care, comfort, and consistency they deserve. My tabby cat, Lavender, and moved to Bellefonte in the spring of 2025, and I look forward to meeting your furry friends! I am a part-time school teacher and am available most weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as most weekends. This availability may change based on school activities, but I will be sure to communicate with you as soon as I know!
