“Virginia is amazing! We have four cats with four big personalities, so leaving for extended periods is always tough. In our first meet and greet Virginia was very caring and attentive. While we were away on our trip we received daily updates with pics, videos, and sweet details about each cat for their daily hourly visit with Virginia. It felt comforting knowing they were well taken care of and appreciated for their quirks. We highly recommend Virginia and will definitely ask her to watch our cats again!”
About: I grew up in a home that was always full of animals...both big and small. My mother has been a dog person since before I was born, so from an early age, I was attending obedience and agility classes with her, and even participating in a few competitions. By my early teens, I had become the go-to pet sitter for friends and neighbors, regularly caring for their dogs. For five years, prior to 2020, my teenage daughter and I volunteered at an all-volunteer, no-kill animal rescue, where we served as dog walkers and cat caretakers. That experience gave me hands-on skills with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. Until recently, I lived with two dogs of my own (my ex-partner’s pups), and I still frequently care for my mom’s two dogs when she is away helping my sister with her young children. In addition to dogs, I have years of experience fostering and caring for cats, so multi-pet households are second nature to me. Animals have always been a central part of my life, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality while providing them with the care, comfort, and consistency they deserve. My tabby cat, Lavender, and moved to Bellefonte in the spring of 2025, and I look forward to meeting your furry friends! I am a part-time school teacher and am available most weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as most weekends. This availability may change based on school activities, but I will be sure to communicate with you as soon as I know! I strive to carefully read and review, then mindfully follow all care instructions left, so that your pets are stimulated, safe, happy and healthy! I am also diligent about communicating with you so you know how things are going!

“Kelly was amazing with PC and Sophia! She brought us peace of mind, and the pictures she sent during her visits clearly showed that they loved having her around! We could not have asked for a better person to cat sit for us, we are deeply grateful! We highly recommend Kelly, and will certainly contact her the next time we need someone to care for our fur babies!”

“Crystal was so sweet and kind! She sent many photos and videos of our cat and even offered to go above and beyond our expectations. Overall, she was a great sitter and this was honestly the best experience we’ve ever had on Rover. Highly recommend!!!”

“Abbie did a wonderful job looking after our two cats. She followed all of our instructions and somehow even got our one very shy cat to gladly interact with her. Definitely will be using again!”

About: I was a professional pet sitter for 2 years and specifically I specialized in senior pet care for both cats and dogs. I grew up with dogs and worked with training both puppies and adult dogs. Additionally I have experience with petsitting for birds, reptiles, and small animals as well. I currently work full time so I have the most time on the weekends to dedicate the maximum amount of love and attention to pets. I have a yard where weekend boarded dogs can get plenty of exercise and play time, additionally I can guarantee that the pets I care for get a lot of personalized attention and love.
About: I’ve taken care of animals, primarily dogs, since I was a little girl, around age 5. I was raised with coonhounds and a beagle and enjoyed helping to feed and bath our coonhounds. I would show our coonhounds in dog shows and I had no issues handling a bigger breed. My beagle was my house dog and best friend and went everywhere with me. I am currently a dog mom to two beagles. Ringo, age 13, and Jakey, age 10. I recently rescued Jakey from Nittany Beagle Rescue, and I am a volunteer dog walker with the organization as well. Prior to Jakey, I had a rescue beagle named Brewski. Brewski had back issues and as he got older, he required a doggie wheelchair to help with his outdoor mobility needs and required doggie belly wraps for incontinence issues. I currently work so I am available any time on the weekends to care for your pet. I am also available most evenings beginning around to walk your pet. I currently use a leash for my dogs, or a tie out when they need to go out to the bathroom. I do not currently crate my dogs, but have crated them in the past.

“Bex was such a great first experience using Rover. She kept us connected with photos and messages letting us know how each check in went. She made our first time away from our animals super positive and will definitely use her again! Thanks Bex!”

About: As an incoming 1st year vet student, I have devoted over 8000 hours to veterinary medicine. This has given me experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, including young puppies, senior dogs, fractious cats, and medically complex pets. Additionally, I am a dog foster and have recovered medically complex pups from intense surgeries/traumas. Given those experiences, I am comfortable administering medications both orally and injectables, as well as recognizing signs and symptoms of illness. As well, I have a behaviorally complex German Shepherd of my own, and feel comfortable recognizing and avoiding triggers, or safely deescalating situations if they arise. I currently work at an emergency vet with varying shifts, including some overnights, weekends, and evenings. This also means I have many days I can spent my time exclusively with your pets to get some energy out during the daylight! I welcome the opportunity to discuss my schedule during your trip specifically! After a lifetime in veterinary medicine & kennel assistant responsibilities, I’ve learned the ins and outs of pet safety, especially with behaviorally complex pets. I am happy to work with each pet specifically to cater to where they feel best- whether that be crated, on the couch beside me, or anywhere in between!
About: I am a life-long pet owner and lover who approaches pet care with organization, care, and empathy. I would be so happy to bring some extra joy and fun into your pets' lives! I am able to provide overnight care and walking services over the weekends, and have evening availability during the weekdays. My schedule is flexible and I am willing to work with you to support what is best for your pet! I am here to provide a caring and fun visit to your fur babies. I would love to take them on walks, play and fetch, and provide lots of snuggles. I also have experience giving a wide variety of medications to pets, as well as supporting crate training.
About: Hi. I am Derya and I have a dog named Shenai. I have to mention that he is our activity coordinator. He welcomes the guest puppies with super fast tail wagging. He is very friendly and likes to share his toys with them. He plans the walks and indoor activities. He likes to show them the spring creek and many different trails nearby our house. I have full time job, I still make sure that your puppies will get plenty of walk and indoor activities during their stay. Shenai loves to play. When we have guest puppies my house turns to big playground for them. We have a big back yard and a lot of trails nearby our house. I can give oral medications if it is needed and Crete your puppies if it is their regular routine.

About: Throughout my life, I’ve taken care of 4 cats, 2 dogs, three guinea pigs & a ball python. I am comfortable with any species and breed! I’ve held great responsibility to walk, feed, groom and play with my own & others fur babies. I’m up for any task.. big or small. I’ll be there for your pets needs. Currently I hold a full-time job as a support manager. I don’t have a consistent schedule, but I’ve been able to walk/feed pets before and after work. I mostly do mornings and mid shifts. With that being said, I can make it work. Let’s talk! I've never cared for someone elses pet in my own house. I prefer to stay at a clients home, so the animal(s) is comfortable and the necessities needed to perform my duties for said pet are easily accessible.
About: I have my own cat who I got when she was a tiny bean! I have watched my neighbor's dogs and let them out when needed. I lived with a dog in college and took her on walks. I am waiting for my job to start up in mid-June, until then I have open availability! When my job starts I will be open some weekends and later in the evenings. I keep a watchful eye in fenced-in yards, you never know! If there is no fence I will always have the dog on a leash. Cats deserve just as much love! I will give them the attention they deserve.
“Jessie came for a meet & greet on very short notice. She had a notebook and asked the proper questions, dogs loved her. Very happy to have found her and feel like the dogs are in good hands for their upcoming visit with her!”
