“Ruth did an amazing job with Ruby. Can’t thank her enough for how well she takes care of her and how nice it is to come home to happy well cared pup. Can’t wait for Ruth to watch her again!”

“Derya was great! He communicated really well. He also sent so many good pictures of our girls. I can tell they were well taken care of and enjoyed staying with him. The first part of our trip he stayed at our house, and once he knew the girls better, he took them to his house. I'm so glad we chose him. We will be rebooking!”

“I’m not your typical type of reviewer. Seems to be one of those things that I only review if things are bad and the company isn’t helpful. This is not the case though for Nora. She was wonderful. We were able to book Nora last minute due to previous cancellation. She visited with Mocha to get the run down prior to that same week being when she would be watching our Mocha.”

About: As an incoming 1st year vet student, I have devoted over 8000 hours to veterinary medicine. This has given me experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, including young puppies, senior dogs, fractious cats, and medically complex pets. Additionally, I am a dog foster and have recovered medically complex pups from intense surgeries/traumas. Given those experiences, I am comfortable administering medications both orally and injectables, as well as recognizing signs and symptoms of illness. As well, I have a behaviorally complex German Shepherd of my own, and feel comfortable recognizing and avoiding triggers, or safely deescalating situations if they arise. I currently work at an emergency vet with varying shifts, including some overnights, weekends, and evenings. This also means I have many days I can spent my time exclusively with your pets to get some energy out during the daylight! I welcome the opportunity to discuss my schedule during your trip specifically! After a lifetime in veterinary medicine & kennel assistant responsibilities, I’ve learned the ins and outs of pet safety, especially with behaviorally complex pets. I am happy to work with each pet specifically to cater to where they feel best- whether that be crated, on the couch beside me, or anywhere in between!

About: I’ve always been a dog family, growing up with always 2 dogs or more in my family households. When I was 20, I adopted my soul dog Dusty, who was extremely dog reactive. He showed me a lot of how to deal with reactive dogs, especially on walks and dealing with strangers who may not get that their dog may be friendly, but yours may need that extra space to be comfortable. I now also own two cats, adopted from the local shelter Paws and they have become my life. They are very clingy but also shy towards strangers. So I also very understand if you own some shy cats, I would love them just the same! I currently live all year in State College, work full time but still have plenty of time for my cats and still have more time for others. Just let me know 24 hours ahead or more and it can happen! I am fully comfortable crating all kinds of dogs, walking any breed, or dealing with any shy temperamental cat. I really love animals with all my heart, and you have my word when you’re not home- you don’t need to worry about your furry loved one back home.
“Emma was so great. She showed up early and stayed the entire requested time. She took really good care of my baby boy and even brought in a heavy package that was delivered a day early so it wouldn't be sitting outside. She was very communicative and respective of my home. I would use her again and recommend her to anyone.”

About: I have owned 7 dogs throughout my life. My family has also fostered 10+ dogs over the years. I have experience training animals, taking care of senior animals, and dealing with a variety of animal temperaments. I know how important pets are to a family so I always treat any dog I meet the same as I would my own. I work between 20-35 hours a week over the summer (Mon-Fri). However, I tend to have quiet evenings perfect for lounging with pets. I don’t work on weekends and have lots of free time then. Safety is very important to me when taking care of any animals. I always monitor animals when they are outside, I use proper harnesses when walking animals, and keep doors locked.
“Adriana is a WONDERFUL dogsitter. She watched my Catahoula hound dog, Kiddo, for me in my home for five nights, and I felt so reassured with how communicative and she was throughout my trip. I returned home to find Kiddo as happy as ever. Thank you so much, Adriana; 12/10 would recommend for caring for anyone's pets!”

About: I’ve taken care of my own pets as well as roommates and neighbors. I love spending time and caring for furry friends of all sizes and breeds! I work a full-time job, but in the evenings and on the weekends I am available to care for and spend time with your pets! I will do my very best to keep a consistent lifestyle and schedule for your pets by providing care in the comfort of their own home. I can provide walks, cuddles, tug-of-war battles and more!
About: By word of mouth I’ve been recommended to care for the dogs of my friends, family, community members. I’ve had two dogs in my lifetime and am willing to love yours as if they were my own while maintaining their needs and giving you lots of pup-dates I work part time mid day during weekdays at the YMCA and part time some nights at Tavola. I’m willing to work with you and care for your pet around these obligations! Though at this time I am unable to board, I will make sure your pet still feels comfortable in your own home even without you.
“Leigh was amazing with our sweet Golden as well as looking after our old farmstead while enjoyed a week away. She took care of everything and communicated daily with photos. She even handled the Hurricane impacts on the house with care. We were so pleased with all She did for us. Our pup was well cared for and clean upon our return. Highly recommend her services.”

“Candice was so amazing! She took such good care of our pup and gave us lots of photos and updates while we were away. We will definitely be using her services again in the future! She even put away some of the clean dishes we had left out!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals, primarily dogs, since I was a little girl, around age 5. I was raised with coonhounds and a beagle and enjoyed helping to feed and bath our coonhounds. I would show our coonhounds in dog shows and I had no issues handling a bigger breed. My beagle was my house dog and best friend and went everywhere with me. I am currently a dog mom to two beagles. Ringo, age 13, and Jakey, age 10. I recently rescued Jakey from Nittany Beagle Rescue, and I am a volunteer dog walker with the organization as well. Prior to Jakey, I had a rescue beagle named Brewski. Brewski had back issues and as he got older, he required a doggie wheelchair to help with his outdoor mobility needs and required doggie belly wraps for incontinence issues. I currently work so I am available any time on the weekends to care for your pet. I am also available most evenings beginning around to walk your pet. I currently use a leash for my dogs, or a tie out when they need to go out to the bathroom. I do not currently crate my dogs, but have crated them in the past.
