“We texted Rillan and told her we were picking up the boys early She had everything ready for us! The boys did not seem to care that we were there. I appreciated the photos and communication”

“My bull terriers were taken care of well and walked daily if not more. Derya sent daily pictures and updates. He’s very responsive and even agreed to keep the boys an extra night when my flight changed to a later time. Thank you, Derya!”

“My pups had such a good time with Simone and Kenya! They seemed very happy when I picked them up. I was so excited to see the pictures through the app every day. It looks like they got lots of walks and cuddles 🥰 I will definitely be reaching back out to Simone and Kenya for our next trip!”

“I had a fantastic experience with Crystal while she looked after my 9-month-old Snowshoe cat, Mavis, during my spring break. Right from the meet and greet, she knew her stuff. She introduced Mavis to her apartment, and her pet is around the same age, Sushi, and gave us some great tips on helping Mavis settle in. The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. Plus, she ensured Mavis got plenty of playtime – she understood Mavis's playful side. I was impressed by how Crystal helped Mavis and Sushi become friends. They hit it off after a little supervised playtime, which made me feel even better about leaving Mavis with her. What genuinely set Crystal apart was her communication. She kept in touch throughout my trip, sending updates and adorable pictures of Mavis. It was so reassuring to see Mavis happy and well taken care of while I was away. In short, Crystal is fantastic at what she does. She's caring, professional, and loves animals. I'll definitely be calling on her again next time I need a cat sitter.”

“Five stars all around, amazing sitters, super responsive and shared lots of pictures which we absolutely loved seeing. They were above and beyond communicative and amazing and look forward to having our pup stay with them again!”

“Jessica and her family were amazing sitters for our Labrador "Bella!" We couldn't have asked for a nicer or kinder family to entrust our fury family member. Bella loved her time with Jessica leaving my wife and I comforted to know she was in good care! Highly recommend Jessica for any pet sitting services. She took the time to periodically send videos and photos during Bella's stay. This further secured our trust that Bella was in good hands and allowed my wife and I to enjoy our vacation. We will definitely use Jessica again!”

“Ryan took good care of Isabelle, and we were so thankful that he was able to accommodate us on a holiday. And Isabelle has a great time playing with Ryan’s dog, Charlie!”

“Jodi and Bruce treated our fur baby like one of the family, exactly what we were hoping for in finding a home away from home for her. She looks forward to a return stay, and we'll be confident leaving her in their care.”

“Laura was fantastic with Tasha, she sent me updates and photos, walked her a couple of times a day. Tasha had a nice time staying overnight. But mostly, i loved that her boy enjoyed having her in his house :)”

“Always great with updating me on how my puppy is doing. Sends lots of videos and makes sure he gets lots of play time. Very responsible with making sure dogs are separated if they don’t get along with each other. Always watches my dog great”

“Katrina was an absolute blessing while watching our senior dog, Fudge. We were away for our daughter's graduation and she made sure we could be fully present without a second of worry. She took Fudge on gentle walks tailored to his pace, and constantly sent the sweetest videos and photos that had us smiling the whole weekend. You can tell she truly loves senior dogs — she was patient, attentive, and treated Fudge like her own. Returning to a happy, relaxed pup was the best graduation gift we could ask for. We trust Katina 100% and will be booking her again. If you have a senior dog, she’s your person!”
“Our dog seemed to fall in love with Kevin. We also think he came home with better manners than we left him! Kevin had good communication with us both in arranging the care and while we were away. We definitely hope to leave our dog with Kevin in the future.”

“Alexis was fantastic. I booked her last minute and she did an amazing job. Sadie had an upset stomach when I dropped her off and Alexis did a great job with Sadie's meds and looking after her. She was feeling much better when she got home. Would definitely book again.”

About: I’ve always had family animals that I’ve adored and that got my foot into working in rescue! I’ve work with extra small to extra large dogs, a lot of cats and some other species. I feel very comfortable with behavioral differences in different animals. I’ve worked along side very talented vets and techs that have taught me a lot about medical care, as well. I work part time at home with a dog and two cats. I take physical and mental enrichment very seriously for all animals. Any animal I’m caring for comes first everyday. A tired dog is a happy dog. I have friendly animals at home, a large crate if needed and a separate room set up for shy animals to warm up to the other animals. We have a large (not fenced) yard but we take many long walks a day to keep up with physical needs!

About: I have years of experience training dogs of all breeds and life stages, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. With a securely fenced-in yard and expert handling, I’ll provide customized care that ensures a safe, comfortable, and happy environment for your pup at any age. I'm semi-retired and my children are grown. I'm home most of the time and would love to share our cozy home with your pet in a safe loving environment while you're out of town. I have a quarter acre fenced in backyard, away from any busy streets. We have large & small dog beds in the living room or if you prefer we also do have crate capacity. There is a state park only a few blocks away from the house that has wonderful hiking trails for dogs. Even when it's busy over the holidays we limit the amount of dogs at a time so the dogs don't get overwhelmed.
About: What sets me apart is my ability to tailor my care to the specific needs of each pet. Whether it's training a new puppy with positive reinforcement techniques or providing specialized care for senior pets, I focus on understanding and addressing their individual requirements. My approach includes regular communication with pet owners to ensure their preferences and routines are followed, making the experience as comfortable and seamless as possible for both pets and their families. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. I start by ensuring pets are fed, exercised, and given any necessary medications. Throughout the day, I maintain their environment and address any needs that arise. My routine also includes regular updates to pet owners, providing them with peace of mind and ensuring continuity of care. Each week, I review and adjust routines to accommodate any changes in the pet’s health or behavior. In my home, I ensure a pet-friendly environment with secure areas, clean spaces, and safety measures like pet-proofing and monitoring. I also follow a consistent routine to maintain stability and comfort for pets. In a client’s home, I prioritize safety by following their specific instructions and maintaining their pet’s usual environment and routines. I ensure that all doors and gates are securely closed, and I keep the home clean and hazard-free. Regular updates and open communication with the pet owners are key to ensuring their pet’s well-being and their own peace of mind.

“Virginia was absolutely amazing with my cat! It was my first time having a cat sitter but I was updated each visit with many pictures and videos, which made me feel so comfortable. My cat absolutely loved when Virginia came by and warmed up quickly to her. Will definitely book again!”

“Crystal was so sweet and kind! She sent many photos and videos of our cat and even offered to go above and beyond our expectations. Overall, she was a great sitter and this was honestly the best experience we’ve ever had on Rover. Highly recommend!!!”

“Another great experience with Kelly! This is our fourth time booking Kelly to take car of our cat and she always does an amazing job. We love the reports she sends us at each visit so we know our little Scout is doing well. We’ll definitely continue to book Kelly any time we need a sitter!”

About: I didn’t start out as a “cat person,” but when my daughter asked for a cat in 2008, everything changed. Seventeen years later, I’ve shared my home with four beloved family cats, cared for two foster litters, and volunteered for five years at a no-kill shelter in New Jersey. At the shelter, I gained hands-on experience with socializing cats, giving oral medication, and tending to their daily needs. I know how important the little things are (like a fresh, clean litter box) because they make life so much better for cats. I take pride in providing that kind of thoughtful, consistent care. My daughter is grown (and has two cats of her own!), and my leash-trained tabby, Lavender, and I moved to Bellefonte in the spring of 2025. Fun fact: In 2024, I set a goal to pet 100 different cats, and I surpassed it!

“Samantha was extremely reliable and took great care of our cats during drop in visits. She even managed to get out shy cat to visit with her when she came to our house.”

About: I was a professional pet sitter for 2 years and specifically I specialized in senior pet care for both cats and dogs. I grew up with dogs and worked with training both puppies and adult dogs. Additionally I have experience with petsitting for birds, reptiles, and small animals as well. I currently work full time so I have the most time on the weekends to dedicate the maximum amount of love and attention to pets. I have a yard where weekend boarded dogs can get plenty of exercise and play time, additionally I can guarantee that the pets I care for get a lot of personalized attention and love.
“Sara was wonderful! She kept us well informed throughout the entire process and was always quick to respond. She checked in the day before, which I truly appreciated and helped ease some of my nerves. After each visit, she sent a detailed report along with photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. We were so grateful for her excellent communication and the thoughtful care she provided. I would absolutely recommend Sara to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and attentive to care for their pets.”

“Corina was great! She come over for an introduction and you can tell that she loves dogs! She was very easy to work with and flexible in meeting times. She came over and let my dogs out as promised and took great care of my pups. My dogs really seemed to like her too!”

This has given me a strong understanding of their changing needs, behaviors, and routines. In addition to caring for my own pets, I regularly look after friends’ cats while they are out of town, ensuring they receive consistent care, attention, and companionship in their home environment. “Anna was fantastic watching my kitty and guinea pigs for nine days! Her visits were punctual and the rover cards she sent everyday were detailed and thorough. She was also responsive to all my messages during my trip. I will definitely book her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals, primarily dogs, since I was a little girl, around age 5. I was raised with coonhounds and a beagle and enjoyed helping to feed and bath our coonhounds. I would show our coonhounds in dog shows and I had no issues handling a bigger breed. My beagle was my house dog and best friend and went everywhere with me. I am currently a dog mom to two beagles. Ringo, age 13, and Jakey, age 10. I recently rescued Jakey from Nittany Beagle Rescue, and I am a volunteer dog walker with the organization as well. Prior to Jakey, I had a rescue beagle named Brewski. Brewski had back issues and as he got older, he required a doggie wheelchair to help with his outdoor mobility needs and required doggie belly wraps for incontinence issues. I currently work so I am available any time on the weekends to care for your pet. I am also available most evenings beginning around to walk your pet. I currently use a leash for my dogs, or a tie out when they need to go out to the bathroom. I do not currently crate my dogs, but have crated them in the past.

About: With 20 years of dog sitting experience, I have a lifelong passion for caring for dogs of all ages. I started dog sitting when I was 14 and have since provided overnight and drop-in services. Having grown up with dogs, I've helped train four puppies and nannied for a family with a senior dog for four years. My experience includes administering medication and catering to the unique needs of both puppies and senior dogs and everything in between. I am dedicated to offering reliable, compassionate, and professional care for your furry friends. I have 2 boys under the age of 5 so we have a louder, high energy house! I work remotely part-time, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility each day to provide dedicated care, attention, and companionship for your furry friend. I assume all dogs are not friendly unless told otherwise, ensuring a cautious and respectful approach to each new dog. I am knowledgeable about foods that are toxic to dogs and take great care to prevent them from consuming anything harmful. I believe strongly in positive reinforcement, rewarding good behavior rather than punishing the bad, to foster a trusting and happy relationship with the dogs I care for.
About: Hi! I’m a college student at Penn state university with 4–5 years of experience caring for pets. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, bathe, walk, and love their animals like my own. I’m responsible, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with all kinds of pets. Thank you for considering me to care for your amazing companion! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I plan my days around my availability and make sure I have enough time to give each pet the attention, care, and playtime they need. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize creating a calm and familiar environment by following the pet’s routine as closely as possible. I pay close attention to body language and other cues to understand how the pet is feeling, and I give them the space or affection they need based on their comfort level. I know that trust takes time, especially with animals, and I’m always patient, gentle, and respectful of their boundaries. My goal is to make each pet feel safe, seen, and cared for while their family is away.

“Anna is great! I have a dog that was in a shelter for two years and has a good bit of stranger danger. He was at ease with Anna as soon as she came to the house to meet him. We have been doing walks preparing for Anna to house sit for me. Anna is very professional, arrives a bit early and lets you know she is outside the house ready to go when you are. She is very good at staying in touch but most importantly she really loves the dogs she cares for.”

About: I am a 20-year-old animal lover currently attending Penn State and looking to build a base of regular pet-sitting clients! I have over 6 years of pet-sitting experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, and chickens. My passion for animals started at a young age, and beginning at 13, I regularly walked dogs for several neighbors. Through pet sitting, I have gained experience with animals of all sizes and personalities, from energetic puppies to horses and farm animals. I am dedicated to providing reliable, attentive care and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I would love to become a trusted, familiar sitter for local families and their pets! 🐾 As a Penn State World Campus student living on campus, I have a very flexible schedule and am available for pet care throughout the week. I also have my own car, making it easy for me to travel to nearby homes for walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care. My flexible class schedule allows me to work around each pet’s individual needs, whether that means morning visits, midday check-ins, evening care, or regular walks. I am reliable, responsible, and happy to work with pet owners to create a schedule that works best for them and their pets! 🐾 I also have a friendly bulldog who loves meeting new people and dogs. If your dog enjoys socializing and you’re comfortable with it, I can bring her along for company during visits. Of course, your pet’s comfort and preferences always come first, and I will only do this with your permission.
“I am traveling and had to leave Zeus, my 100lbs AmStaff with my mom and sister. Brigette was available short notice and she was punctual and communicative. She was not only comfortable and confident with my big strong boy, but she took my mom and sister along to teach them how to handle him. They had never walked a dog before this week and they say they can now walk him with confidence. her help was absolutely invaluable! She is incredible! I simply cannot speak highly enough of her. If i ever need any help with Zeus again. she is the one!”
About: Hi there! I'm Emma, and I've had a passion for working with animals for over a decade. I've grown up around and helped raise dogs and cats my whole life, but my real experience with dogs and pet sitting began in 2015 during my undergraduate years, when I worked at an indoor dog daycare for three years caring for a wide range of breeds, ages, and temperaments for up to six hours a day. That role gave me a strong foundation in reading dog behavior, managing group dynamics, and ensuring every pup felt safe and comfortable. Alongside my daycare work, I built a steady base of 2–3 private clients throughout both my undergraduate and graduate careers, providing regular dog and cat sitting on a more personal, one-on-one basis. I genuinely love getting to know each pet's unique personality and routine. My experience includes working with pets of all ages and breeds, those with anxiety or separation issues, and animals that require medication to be administered. Whether your pet needs lots of reassurance or just a calm, reliable presence, I'm here to make sure they're happy and well cared for while you're away! I'm currently in my third year of my PhD program at Penn State, and since I'm no longer taking classes, my schedule is much more flexible than it used to be. Most of my days are spent reading and writing from my laptop, which honestly makes me an ideal pet sitter, I'm home, I'm calm, and I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. This means I can easily build my day around your pet's existing routine, whether that's morning walks, midday playtime, or afternoon naps on the couch next to me. I find that having a furry companion around actually makes those long work sessions much more enjoyable for both of us! I'm fully available for walks, overnight stays, and everything in between, and I'm always happy to follow whatever schedule works best for your pet. Whether I'm caring for your cat(s), dog(s), or both, my approach is the same: attentive, consistent, and tailored to your pet's individual needs. I'm naturally detail-oriented, and that really comes through in how I care for animals, I pay close attention to their behaviors, moods, and routines to make sure their day-to-day feels as normal as possible while you're away. My time working at an indoor dog daycare gave me hands-on training in dog safety, behavior, and best practices for creating a calm, secure environment, experience I carry into every sitting job. I know that a settled, predictable routine can make a big difference for pets, especially those that are sensitive to change or prone to anxiety, so I always make it a priority to follow your pet's existing schedule as closely as possible. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable and at ease, and for you to feel confident that they're in good hands.

About: Hi there! I have been around pets and loving animals all my life. Whether you have a playful puppy or a senior cat, I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and sizes! I’m currently in college, so I frequently travel between State College and Spring Mills. I have a pretty minimal workload since I have a few online classes so I’m available for most of the day on weekdays and available weekends. I live with cats and dogs so service at my house isn’t the best option unless you have a low energy pet, but I provide service in-home or outdoors for just a walk in the park!
“Megan did a great job with walking our dog and my mother’s dog while we went to an amusement park for the day. She provided pictures of each walk, and we came home to two happy dogs!”

I previously volunteered at PAW Pets Shelter, where I gained hands-on experience caring for and interacting with dogs of different temperaments and needs. I’m very patient when it comes to pet care, and I enjoy teaching and guiding pets step by step so they can feel comfortable, confident, and safe. I also have a toy poodle back home, so I understand the responsibility and attention that goes into caring for a dog every day. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. As a Penn State student, my schedule is very flexible, which allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. I enjoy spending time with pets in the afternoon, taking them on walks in the evening and every morning, and making sure they get the attention and care they need throughout the day. I truly love spending time with animals and try to make the most of every moment I have with them. I care for pets in my home by providing a safe and comfortable environment with plenty of space for them to move around. My home has three floors, giving pets room to walk, explore, and stay active throughout the day. I also make sure they have a quiet bedroom space where they can rest comfortably. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and welcoming environment where pets feel relaxed and well cared for.

About: As a child, my family had a Maltese since he was a puppy and he lived until the age of 15 years old. His life expectancy was around 7 years old, so he was a senior dog. I learned how to take care of my dog at a young age and was responsible for taking care of him. Now, my parents and I have a puppy named Shylo Esch. He is a mix of Bernese mountain dog and mini poodle. I have attended puppy class with him at Manners N' More in Bellefonte, PA. I also frequently walk my family friend's dog who is a Labrador retriever. I grew up around dogs and learning to and caring for them, I have a deep love for taking care of dogs. I am currently job searching and am working to enroll back at Penn State in the fall full time. I usually have appointments scheduled throughout the week and plans with friends/family whenever we have time. When considering booking dog care, I make sure I have the availability for your pup(s) and communicate with you about it. My baby dog, Shylo Esch, has been spoiled by my parents with many toys and treats. He is treat motivated from his puppy training, leashed for outdoor walks and goes in his crate when nobody is home. I hold myself to a strong work ethic when caring for dogs by creating a disciplined yet empathetic stance when caring for fur babies or elderly dogs. In my clients home, I closely follow the rules and duties of the care they require to care for their dogs. I set up a meet n' greet with the dog and owner before committing. I like to meet the dog beforehand to see if we are a good fit by interacting, playing with or taking them on a walk with the owner around their usual route in order to gauge their temperament and comfortability with me. I ask various questions about how the owner takes care of the dog, so I can best follow their lead. I ask about daily routine activities, food schedule, treat frequency, walking time, habits, likes, dislikes, etc. I prefer to follow the daily routine and activities that the dog is used to in order to keep them on track while their owner is away.
About: Growing up with dogs all my life along with my animal science major I am well versed in medication routines, early morning to late night potty breaks, special dietary needs to the ones who have been loved past their youth and need a little extra care. I’ve been bit, scratched, slobbered and thrown up on so I can handle anything your pets have to offer. I’m working part time at a restaurant however I am more than willing to make time during off days for your fur-babies, walks and regular exercise, quick check ins and long stays I will make time to do. Pets are watched closely, mostly nearly medication administration and meal time. If desired I can feed at specific times and can adapt a medication schedule periodically for any and all fur babies.

“My bull terriers were taken care of well and walked daily if not more. Derya sent daily pictures and updates. He’s very responsive and even agreed to keep the boys an extra night when my flight changed to a later time. Thank you, Derya!”

“Five stars all around, amazing sitters, super responsive and shared lots of pictures which we absolutely loved seeing. They were above and beyond communicative and amazing and look forward to having our pup stay with them again!”

“Ryan took good care of Isabelle, and we were so thankful that he was able to accommodate us on a holiday. And Isabelle has a great time playing with Ryan’s dog, Charlie!”

“Laura was fantastic with Tasha, she sent me updates and photos, walked her a couple of times a day. Tasha had a nice time staying overnight. But mostly, i loved that her boy enjoyed having her in his house :)”

“I had a fantastic experience with Laura and it was such a blessing coming across her on Rover! From start to finish, she was incredibly professional and caring. My two fur babies took to her and her family right away, which put me at ease immediately. It’s very clear that she has a genuine love for animals, and my pups were well taken care of during their stay. Her communication was excellent throughout the stay as well! She kept me updated with many photos and messages, which I really appreciated! It was reassuring to know things were going well. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for a reliable, kind and caring dog sitter!”
