About: I've had pets in my life since I was a child - dogs, cats, rabbits, and rats! I currently have one large dog (German Shepherd mix) and a cat. I'm comfortable caring for all sizes and types of dogs, any cats, or other small animals. I've worked with a trainer for my own dog for reactivity, and have experience walking and taking care of large dogs. I work full time during the week and am available for morning/evening visits and weekends visits or walks. I will give your fur babies the same love and care I give to mine, they are family! About: My name is Elisa S., I generally go by Lis, & I use they/them pronouns! I have volunteered at Centre County PAWS since April 2018, in September 2019 I was offered a job & was the first minor to be employed with PAWS! I recently started fostering cats & kittens. My first foster was a lovely kitten who had recently had her leg amputated. I am very experienced in giving all types of meds (pill, eye, ear, wound care, & more). And I of course have 3 fur-babies of my own (Nora, Emmitt, & Ellie), a 40 gal fist tank with 10 fish, as well as a 10 gallon fish tank with 2 aquatic frogs. I also have some experience in caring for reptiles! I am currently working at Centre County PAWS as a Kennel assistant, I always work on Mondays & Tuesdays from 4-7. But am currently working a flexible mid-day shift every day. I am available for your pets almost anytime, any day! Due to my fur-babies, 2 fish tanks, & fosters, I currently will not be offering care in my home. When I care for your animals, I will listen to you and your pets wants & needs. About: Hi there! I have been around pets and loving animals all my life. Whether you have a playful puppy or a senior cat, I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and sizes! I’m currently in college, so I frequently travel between State College and Spring Mills. I have a pretty minimal workload since I have a few online classes so I’m available for most of the day on weekdays and available weekends. I live with cats and dogs so service at my house isn’t the best option unless you have a low energy pet, but I provide service in-home or outdoors for just a walk in the park!

About: My mom is a zoologist, so I was raised learning how to treat all animals with the best care. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special food conditions. I know that our pets our just as much part of the family as humans, and I promise to provide them with the best and most loving care as if they were my own. I am currently a full-time college student with an internship that typically keeps me busy in the afternoons. However, my schedule is flexible with mornings and evenings typically being more open. From experience with my own pets, I find that dogs and cats miss their owners just as much as their owners miss them when they’re away, if not more. That being said, after completing any responsibilities the family has asked of me, I always take some extra time to hang out with the pets to make sure they feel loved while missing their family. I also find that the families appreciate picture and text updates of how their pets are doing while they’re gone. I always make sure to do that so the owners can trust their pets are in good hands.

About: I have worked in an animal shelter for almost 7 years. I was the kennel manager, I did the daily cleaning and walking of the dogs and cats and have experience in medicating them. I'm currently not working so I have a pretty flexible schedule, any time and days of the week work well for me. please feel free to ask me any questions I have tons of experience and know a lot about handling and caring for animals. I have 2 very loving cats but your pets would not be meeting them.

About: I’m a Penn State student, formerly an Animal Science major and now a third-year studying Psychology. I previously volunteered at PAW Pets Shelter, where I gained hands-on experience caring for and interacting with dogs of different temperaments and needs. I’m very patient when it comes to pet care, and I enjoy teaching and guiding pets step by step so they can feel comfortable, confident, and safe. I also have a toy poodle back home, so I understand the responsibility and attention that goes into caring for a dog every day. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. As a Penn State student, my schedule is very flexible, which allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. I enjoy spending time with pets in the afternoon, taking them on walks in the evening and every morning, and making sure they get the attention and care they need throughout the day. I truly love spending time with animals and try to make the most of every moment I have with them. I care for pets in my home by providing a safe and comfortable environment with plenty of space for them to move around. My home has three floors, giving pets room to walk, explore, and stay active throughout the day. I also make sure they have a quiet bedroom space where they can rest comfortably. About: Ever since we adopted my dog in 2019, I have been obsessed with caring for animals. I have taken my dog on at least 100 walks in his lifetime so far, and I don’t plan to stop anytime soon! Additionally, I have been requested by multiple neighbors and friends to dog sit and cat sit for them. I have been dog sitting and catsitting for the same people for about 4 years now, so I would say I have a lot of experience!! I currently work part time at Kohls, so my schedule is a little all over the place. However, I am willing to set a strict availability in order to balance both jobs. Ideally, I can work during the week, but if weekends are needed, I can make some changes. I am very much a rule follower when it comes to watching pets in a clients home. I try to stay by the animals as much as possible to make sure they aren’t getting up to anything, while also staying in the common areas to respect my clients home. About: As a child, my family had a Maltese since he was a puppy and he lived until the age of 15 years old. His life expectancy was around 7 years old, so he was a senior dog. I learned how to take care of my dog at a young age and was responsible for taking care of him. Now, my parents and I have a puppy named Shylo Esch. He is a mix of Bernese mountain dog and mini poodle. I have attended puppy class with him at Manners N' More in Bellefonte, PA. I also frequently walk my family friend's dog who is a Labrador retriever. I grew up around dogs and learning to and caring for them, I have a deep love for taking care of dogs. I have a part time job that I usually work 5-7 hour shifts at, with varying hours between 15-30 hours per week. I am currently taking a break from college classes, I used to attend PSU. I have various appointments scheduled in advance throughout the week. I make plans with friends and family whenever I have time to see them. My baby dog, Shylo Esch, has been spoiled by my parents with many toys and treats. He is treat motivated from puppy training class he attended & graduated from. We leash him for outdoor walks. However his best friends, Lola & Mocha, and sister, Maisie, are the only dogs so far we let play time off leash in our yard together. I am very caring for dogs and I hold myself to a very strong work ethic and compassionate stance when dealing with fur babies and elderly dogs. In my clients home, I follow their rules and duties. I prefer to set up a meet n' greet with the dog and owner before committing. I like to meet the dog and see if we are a good fit by playing with the dog or taking them on a walk with the owner around their usual route. I ask various questions about how the owner takes care of the dog, so I can best follow their lead. I ask about daily routine activities, food schedule, treat frequency, walking time, habits, likes, dislikes, etc. I prefer to follow the daily routine and activities that the dog is used to in order to keep them on track while their owner is away.
