About: I am a 20-year-old animal lover currently attending Penn State and looking to build a base of regular pet-sitting clients! I have over 6 years of pet-sitting experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, and chickens. My passion for animals started at a young age, and beginning at 13, I regularly walked dogs for several neighbors. Through pet sitting, I have gained experience with animals of all sizes and personalities, from energetic puppies to horses and farm animals. I am dedicated to providing reliable, attentive care and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I would love to become a trusted, familiar sitter for local families and their pets! 🐾 As a Penn State World Campus student living on campus, I have a very flexible schedule and am available for pet care throughout the week. I also have my own car, making it easy for me to travel to nearby homes for walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care. My flexible class schedule allows me to work around each pet’s individual needs, whether that means morning visits, midday check-ins, evening care, or regular walks. I am reliable, responsible, and happy to work with pet owners to create a schedule that works best for them and their pets! 🐾 I also have a friendly bulldog who loves meeting new people and dogs. If your dog enjoys socializing and you’re comfortable with it, I can bring her along for company during visits. Of course, your pet’s comfort and preferences always come first, and I will only do this with your permission.

About: I've had pets in my life since I was a child - dogs, cats, rabbits, and rats! I currently have one large dog (German Shepherd mix) and a cat. I'm comfortable caring for all sizes and types of dogs, any cats, or other small animals. I've worked with a trainer for my own dog for reactivity, and have experience walking and taking care of large dogs. I work full time during the week and am available for morning/evening visits and weekends visits or walks. I will give your fur babies the same love and care I give to mine, they are family! About: My name is Elisa S., I generally go by Lis, & I use they/them pronouns! I have volunteered at Centre County PAWS since April 2018, in September 2019 I was offered a job & was the first minor to be employed with PAWS! I recently started fostering cats & kittens. My first foster was a lovely kitten who had recently had her leg amputated. I am very experienced in giving all types of meds (pill, eye, ear, wound care, & more). And I of course have 3 fur-babies of my own (Nora, Emmitt, & Ellie), a 40 gal fist tank with 10 fish, as well as a 10 gallon fish tank with 2 aquatic frogs. I also have some experience in caring for reptiles! I am currently working at Centre County PAWS as a Kennel assistant, I always work on Mondays & Tuesdays from 4-7. But am currently working a flexible mid-day shift every day. I am available for your pets almost anytime, any day! Due to my fur-babies, 2 fish tanks, & fosters, I currently will not be offering care in my home. When I care for your animals, I will listen to you and your pets wants & needs. I understand that every pet owner cares for their pets differently & will respect the way you do so!

About: As a child, my family had a Maltese since he was a puppy and he lived until the age of 15 years old. His life expectancy was around 7 years old, so he was a senior dog. I learned how to take care of my dog at a young age and was responsible for taking care of him. Now, my parents and I have a puppy named Shylo Esch. He is a mix of Bernese mountain dog and mini poodle. I have attended puppy class with him at Manners N' More in Bellefonte, PA. I also frequently walk my family friend's dog who is a Labrador retriever. I grew up around dogs and learning to and caring for them, I have a deep love for taking care of dogs. I am currently job searching and am working to enroll back at Penn State in the fall full time. I usually have appointments scheduled throughout the week and plans with friends/family whenever we have time. When considering booking dog care, I make sure I have the availability for your pup(s) and communicate with you about it. My baby dog, Shylo Esch, has been spoiled by my parents with many toys and treats. He is treat motivated from his puppy training, leashed for outdoor walks and goes in his crate when nobody is home. I hold myself to a strong work ethic when caring for dogs by creating a disciplined yet empathetic stance when caring for fur babies or elderly dogs. In my clients home, I closely follow the rules and duties of the care they require to care for their dogs. I set up a meet n' greet with the dog and owner before committing. I like to meet the dog beforehand to see if we are a good fit by interacting, playing with or taking them on a walk with the owner around their usual route in order to gauge their temperament and comfortability with me. I ask various questions about how the owner takes care of the dog, so I can best follow their lead. I ask about daily routine activities, food schedule, treat frequency, walking time, habits, likes, dislikes, etc. I prefer to follow the daily routine and activities that the dog is used to in order to keep them on track while their owner is away.

About: Hi there! I have been around pets and loving animals all my life. Whether you have a playful puppy or a senior cat, I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and sizes! I’m currently in college, so I frequently travel between State College and Spring Mills. I have a pretty minimal workload since I have a few online classes so I’m available for most of the day on weekdays and available weekends. I live with cats and dogs so service at my house isn’t the best option unless you have a low energy pet, but I provide service in-home or outdoors for just a walk in the park!

About: Hi there! I'm Emma, and I've had a passion for working with animals for over a decade. I've grown up around and helped raise dogs and cats my whole life, but my real experience with dogs and pet sitting began in 2015 during my undergraduate years, when I worked at an indoor dog daycare for three years caring for a wide range of breeds, ages, and temperaments for up to six hours a day. That role gave me a strong foundation in reading dog behavior, managing group dynamics, and ensuring every pup felt safe and comfortable. Alongside my daycare work, I built a steady base of 2–3 private clients throughout both my undergraduate and graduate careers, providing regular dog and cat sitting on a more personal, one-on-one basis. I genuinely love getting to know each pet's unique personality and routine. My experience includes working with pets of all ages and breeds, those with anxiety or separation issues, and animals that require medication to be administered. Whether your pet needs lots of reassurance or just a calm, reliable presence, I'm here to make sure they're happy and well cared for while you're away! I'm currently in my third year of my PhD program at Penn State, and since I'm no longer taking classes, my schedule is much more flexible than it used to be. Most of my days are spent reading and writing from my laptop, which honestly makes me an ideal pet sitter, I'm home, I'm calm, and I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. This means I can easily build my day around your pet's existing routine, whether that's morning walks, midday playtime, or afternoon naps on the couch next to me. I find that having a furry companion around actually makes those long work sessions much more enjoyable for both of us! I'm fully available for walks, overnight stays, and everything in between, and I'm always happy to follow whatever schedule works best for your pet. Whether I'm caring for your cat(s), dog(s), or both, my approach is the same: attentive, consistent, and tailored to your pet's individual needs. I'm naturally detail-oriented, and that really comes through in how I care for animals, I pay close attention to their behaviors, moods, and routines to make sure their day-to-day feels as normal as possible while you're away. My time working at an indoor dog daycare gave me hands-on training in dog safety, behavior, and best practices for creating a calm, secure environment, experience I carry into every sitting job. On a weekly basis, I keep my availability flexible so I can accommodate different needs, including recurring walks or last-minute bookings when possible. I also make sure to communicate clearly with owners and provide updates, so you always know how your pet is doing. About: Ive been around pets my whole life. For as long as I can remember I’ve had dogs in my home. My family is also a rescue family so I’m very confident with many breeds and ages. We also adopt a lot of senior dogs so I’m very confident in senior care. Can’t wait to spoil your pet! I currently work part time at Plato’s Closet State College where I am a seasonal supervisor. I either work 9-5 or 1-9 but my schedule depends week to week. Reach out and we’ll figure that schedule out! Safety is very important to me. I always will monitor animals when they are outside and make sure to use proper harnesses for walks. I do not offer pets to stay in my home. When I’m home from the summer we have a very full house of animals already!
