About: I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by dogs of all sizes, energies, and breeds! From energetic puppy playtime and structured neighborhood walks to cozy senior snuggles, I know exactly how to keep your pup happy, safe, and thoroughly entertained. Hello. My name is Tricia and l bring more than nine years of professional veterinary medical experience, along with many years of caring for animals in my own home, as well as the homes of others. My experience includes dogs and cats as well as ferrets and a variety of small companion animals, giving me a broad understanding of different personalities, needs, and comfort levels. What sets me apart is not only my professional animal-care background, but the way I approach the animals entrusted to me. I believe animals deserve to be treated with patience, kindness, respect, and compassion. I do not believe in forcing or intimidating an animal into compliance. Instead, I pay attention to what each individual animal is communicating and work to help them feel safe and comfortable in my care. My veterinary experience has also taught me to be observant. I understand the importance of noticing changes in an animal’s behavior, appetite, mobility, bathroom habits, or general demeanor that someone without a medical background might overlook. I am comfortable caring for animals with a wide variety of needs and understand the importance of following an owner’s instructions carefully. I am mature, dependable, and responsible, and I understand what it means to have someone trust me with both a beloved animal and access to their home. I have reliable transportation, can offer flexibility with scheduling, and may be available with relatively short notice. Whether your pet is outgoing and immediately wants to make a new friend or needs a little more time and space to become comfortable, I am happy to meet them where they are. My goal is for you to have peace of mind while you’re away and for your pet to feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. I have one dog named, Cooper and two kitties named, Luna and Liebchen! I am comfortable watching your pet(s) in the clients home, preferably. Definitely cats, as mine get stressed out around new cats.

We have been doing walks preparing for Anna to house sit for me. Anna is very professional, arrives a bit early and lets you know she is outside the house ready to go when you are. She is very good at staying in touch but most importantly she really loves the dogs she cares for.”

About: I've had pets in my life since I was a child - dogs, cats, rabbits, and rats! I currently have one large dog (German Shepherd mix) and a cat. I'm comfortable caring for all sizes and types of dogs, any cats, or other small animals. I've worked with a trainer for my own dog for reactivity, and have experience walking and taking care of large dogs. I work full time during the week and am available for morning/evening visits and weekends visits or walks. I will give your fur babies the same love and care I give to mine, they are family! About: I have helped take care of my families pets since I was 17. We always had cats and at least one dog. I am currently a PAWS cat/ kitten foster, and also have a cat of my own. I am currently working full time but am passionate about animals and helping others. I am available for check-ins during the day, over nights throughout the week and weekend. I have my own cat her name is Harmony. I ensure that she always has food, water and fresh litter. I have experience working with animals in all shapes, sizes and disabilities. I am very adaptable, have a great attention to detail and can follow instructions to a T.

About: Hi there! I have been around pets and loving animals all my life. Whether you have a playful puppy or a senior cat, I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and sizes! I’m currently in college, so I frequently travel between State College and Spring Mills. I have a pretty minimal workload since I have a few online classes so I’m available for most of the day on weekdays and available weekends. I live with cats and dogs so service at my house isn’t the best option unless you have a low energy pet, but I provide service in-home or outdoors for just a walk in the park!

About: As a child, my family had a Maltese since he was a puppy and he lived until the age of 15 years old. His life expectancy was around 7 years old, so he was a senior dog. I learned how to take care of my dog at a young age and was responsible for taking care of him. Now, my parents and I have a puppy named Shylo Esch. He is a mix of Bernese mountain dog and mini poodle. I have attended puppy class with him at Manners N' More in Bellefonte, PA. I also frequently walk my family friend's dog who is a Labrador retriever. I grew up around dogs and learning to and caring for them, I have a deep love for taking care of dogs. I work a part-time job throughout the week, with an open availability of being scheduled (shifts can range between 5:30 am-midnight) of anywhere between 20-35 hours. Dog sitting is my happy & rewarding "side hustle". 😁 I usually have a few appointments scheduled every other week and make plans with friends/family whenever we have time. My calendar is left open as my work schedule is variable. I only block out days I will be traveling out of town. When considering booking dog care, I make sure I have the availability for your pup(s) and communicate with you about it. My baby dog, Shylo Esch, has been spoiled by my parents with many toys and treats. He is treat motivated from his puppy training, leashed for outdoor walks and goes in his crate when nobody is home. I hold myself to a strong work ethic when caring for dogs by creating a disciplined yet empathetic stance when caring for fur babies or elderly dogs. In my clients home, I closely follow the rules and duties of the care they require to care for their dogs. I set up a meet n' greet with the dog and owner before committing. I like to meet the dog beforehand to see if we are a good fit by interacting, playing with or taking them on a walk with the owner around their usual route in order to gauge their temperament and comfortability with me. I ask various questions about how the owner takes care of the dog, so I can best follow their lead. I ask about daily routine activities, food schedule, treat frequency, walking time, habits, likes, dislikes, etc. I prefer to follow the daily routine and activities that the dog is used to in order to keep them on track while their owner is away. (**The app takes 20% from my pay so what's advertised is not what I get paid out**)

About: Always joking that dogs are superior but in truthfulness love all animals. Experienced with dogs but open to providing care for other pets. Will strictly adhere to owner requests, so long as they are humane. (Furniture ok vs not allowed, food/walking schedule, treats, etc.). There will be no shortage of affection and attention, assuming the pet is receptive. Open to assisting with reactive or challenging pets. Attempting to build a trusting bond is an inherent desire. Work from home so (brief) walks, potty breaks, playtime, etc can be provided through entirety of day. Longer walks before 8am or after 5pm. Available 24/7 on weekends and holidays. Live alone so no concerns about other pets or children. Have decent sized yard but do require a leash since there is no fence. Safe, quiet, and friendly neighborhood.

About: I’m a Penn State student, formerly an Animal Science major and now a third-year studying Psychology. I previously volunteered at PAW Pets Shelter, where I gained hands-on experience caring for and interacting with dogs of different temperaments and needs. I’m very patient when it comes to pet care, and I enjoy teaching and guiding pets step by step so they can feel comfortable, confident, and safe. I also have a toy poodle back home, so I understand the responsibility and attention that goes into caring for a dog every day. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. As a Penn State student, my schedule is very flexible, which allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. I enjoy spending time with pets in the afternoon, taking them on walks in the evening and every morning, and making sure they get the attention and care they need throughout the day. I truly love spending time with animals and try to make the most of every moment I have with them. I care for pets in my home by providing a safe and comfortable environment with plenty of space for them to move around. My home has three floors, giving pets room to walk, explore, and stay active throughout the day. I also make sure they have a quiet bedroom space where they can rest comfortably. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and welcoming environment where pets feel relaxed and well cared for.

About: Growing up with a grandfather who owns his own clinic and is a veterinarian, I have had a lot of animals cats, dogs, and even a snake at one point. From these experiences, I have the ability and desire to take care of your pet and will do so with love and care. I’m a current college student home for the summer and holiday breaks and work part time at a local restaurant. This gives me ample amount of time to care for your little ones. I treat pets as members of the family.I personalize care according to the pets personality and the owners wishes, with safety as a top priority. I find out as much as I can about the pet beforehand so that I can foster a good connection from the start.

About: I have always owned a dog and absolutely love caring and playing with them. I'm usually available at any time during the day to stop by and feed them, let them out and take them for a walk when needed. I am available most days & weekends if I have notice. I take care of small medium and large puppies as well as any age. It doesn't matter to me. I will make sure your pet is taken care of!
