I do work full time days, but have some midday flexibility, as well as evenings and weekends for all those 2nd and 3rd shift workers, or if you just need someone to stop in to walk the puppy while you are out for the evening!

I read animals very well, and build a bond with them very quickly. I know some animals want to snuggle, some need their space, and some want to be neither seen nor heard (looking at you, some kitties I know!) Still, even the shyest kitty can be coaxed out. With dogs, I love a puppy or dog who might need a little loving guidance.

Please let me know if your dog is reactive. Not a problem for me, but just helps me plan a walking route to avoid any triggers they have. Also please let me know if there are any food allergies! I often come with pockets of grain free treats!
A typical day
Dogs love their smells, and I make sure we take lots of time on our walks to check the "social media chats" of the day. I also love to do mini training sessions with treats and lots of ear scratches. Even an old dog loves the attention!

Pet care experience
I have years of experience with dogs and cats in my own home, as a shelter volunteers, and as a pet sitter. I have recently relocated, so I find myself with some time on my hands, and some dog ears to scratch! I also have experience with older and medical needs animals including oral meds and sub q fluids. I grew up around animals, and currently have one dog and one cat. I also do some work as a novice dog trainer utilizing 100% positive reinforcement techniques. I have even had success training cats! Teaching them to play fetch is one of my faves. Happy to clean the litter pan, too. I am also fine with the little critters - hamsters, guinea pigs, etc!

Virginia did a wonderful job walking my rescue dog! She’s very kind and patient which is exactly what my little girl needs. I am definitely planning to book her again!
Virginia took great care of Luna, making sure to give her lots of love! She even made sure to vacuum up some of the litter that was tracked around and took out the trash. I always got lots of updates and pictures!
Virginia is awesome! She's so sweet and attentive! We will definitely use her again for our girls.
