“Derya was great! He communicated really well. He also sent so many good pictures of our girls. I can tell they were well taken care of and enjoyed staying with him. The first part of our trip he stayed at our house, and once he knew the girls better, he took them to his house. I'm so glad we chose him. We will be rebooking!”

“Zoe did an excellent job caring for Rena while I was on vacation. She exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be using her again! She stayed in touch with me and kept me informed. She proved to be more than responsible and trustworthy in my home.”

“I’m not your typical type of reviewer. Seems to be one of those things that I only review if things are bad and the company isn’t helpful. This is not the case though for Nora. She was wonderful. We were able to book Nora last minute due to previous cancellation. She visited with Mocha to get the run down prior to that same week being when she would be watching our Mocha.”

About: Hi! My name is Katie! I am a student at Penn State and a lover of all creatures, large and small! I have had family dogs throughout my childhood. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, breeds with longer coats, and both large and small breeds. I also have experience with handling rescues of various sizes with different triggers. I also have grown up with cats and have experience with all ages and sizes too! Additionally, I have experience with caring for pet rabbits. I have had several over the years. **I do not have experience with disabled or dogs with special needs, however I am willing to learn and accommodate whenever necessary! I am currently working part-time and am a part-time student at Penn State (student status subject to change). I will have plenty of time to tend to your fur babies! I cannot provide boarding services at this time, so all my pet care services will be at or around your home. I can walk the dogs, play with them, make sure they are properly fed and watered, and take them outside regularly.

“Ruth did an amazing job with Ruby. Can’t thank her enough for how well she takes care of her and how nice it is to come home to happy well cared pup. Can’t wait for Ruth to watch her again!”

About: I have owned 7 dogs throughout my life. My family has also fostered 10+ dogs over the years. I have experience training animals, taking care of senior animals, and dealing with a variety of animal temperaments. I know how important pets are to a family so I always treat any dog I meet the same as I would my own. I work between 20-35 hours a week over the summer (Mon-Fri). However, I tend to have quiet evenings perfect for lounging with pets. I don’t work on weekends and have lots of free time then. Safety is very important to me when taking care of any animals. I always monitor animals when they are outside, I use proper harnesses when walking animals, and keep doors locked.
“Emma was so great. She showed up early and stayed the entire requested time. She took really good care of my baby boy and even brought in a heavy package that was delivered a day early so it wouldn't be sitting outside. She was very communicative and respective of my home. I would use her again and recommend her to anyone.”

About: I’ve always been a dog family, growing up with always 2 dogs or more in my family households. When I was 20, I adopted my soul dog Dusty, who was extremely dog reactive. He showed me a lot of how to deal with reactive dogs, especially on walks and dealing with strangers who may not get that their dog may be friendly, but yours may need that extra space to be comfortable. I now also own two cats, adopted from the local shelter Paws and they have become my life. They are very clingy but also shy towards strangers. So I also very understand if you own some shy cats, I would love them just the same! I currently live all year in State College, work full time but still have plenty of time for my cats and still have more time for others. Just let me know 24 hours ahead or more and it can happen! I am fully comfortable crating all kinds of dogs, walking any breed, or dealing with any shy temperamental cat. I really love animals with all my heart, and you have my word when you’re not home- you don’t need to worry about your furry loved one back home.

About: As an incoming 1st year vet student, I have devoted over 8000 hours to veterinary medicine. This has given me experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, including young puppies, senior dogs, fractious cats, and medically complex pets. Additionally, I am a dog foster and have recovered medically complex pups from intense surgeries/traumas. Given those experiences, I am comfortable administering medications both orally and injectables, as well as recognizing signs and symptoms of illness. As well, I have a behaviorally complex German Shepherd of my own, and feel comfortable recognizing and avoiding triggers, or safely deescalating situations if they arise. I currently work at an emergency vet with varying shifts, including some overnights, weekends, and evenings. This also means I have many days I can spent my time exclusively with your pets to get some energy out during the daylight! I welcome the opportunity to discuss my schedule during your trip specifically! After a lifetime in veterinary medicine & kennel assistant responsibilities, I’ve learned the ins and outs of pet safety, especially with behaviorally complex pets. I am happy to work with each pet specifically to cater to where they feel best- whether that be crated, on the couch beside me, or anywhere in between!
“Adriana is a WONDERFUL dogsitter. She watched my Catahoula hound dog, Kiddo, for me in my home for five nights, and I felt so reassured with how communicative and she was throughout my trip. I returned home to find Kiddo as happy as ever. Thank you so much, Adriana; 12/10 would recommend for caring for anyone's pets!”

About: I have grown up with dogs since I was born! I currently have two 80lbs dogs, Layla and Luna, and they are my best friends. I have watched my friend’s and neighbors dogs since I was 16 years old. I currently volunteer at PAWS, a local animal shelter. I am familiar with big and small dogs along with those with more specific needs. I currently work full time, 8AM-5PM M-F. However, I am remote Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and have a lunch break from 1-2pm. I can let your pup(s) out morning, afternoon, early evening, and night, along with more times if needed! I don’t have a fence in my yard but I have long leashes attached to my deck posts. Please provide me with more information about your pup and circumstances if you are looking to board!
About: Hi! I’m Jonathan—an experienced coach, teacher, and dedicated dog lover now based in Bellefonte, PA. I’ve spent years working with kids and teams, which means I bring patience, structure, and strong communication into everything I do, including caring for your dog. I understand how important trust is when someone is looking after your pet, and I treat every dog like part of the family. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work a consistent schedule, which allows me to plan walks, drop-ins, and check-ins at reliable times throughout the day. I stay active, so I enjoy incorporating walks and playtime into my routine—whether that’s morning walks, afternoon visits, or evening check-ins. I’m also used to managing schedules from coaching and teaching, so I prioritize being on time, organized, and consistent for every visit. On a weekly basis, I keep my availability flexible so I can accommodate different needs, including recurring walks or last-minute bookings when possible. I also make sure to communicate clearly with owners and provide updates, so you always know how your pet is doing. Caring for pets isn’t something I squeeze in—it’s something I intentionally plan for and enjoy as part of my routine. I care for pets in your home as if they were my own. If your pet has special instructions just communicate that to me, no problem.
“Leigh was amazing with our sweet Golden as well as looking after our old farmstead while enjoyed a week away. She took care of everything and communicated daily with photos. She even handled the Hurricane impacts on the house with care. We were so pleased with all She did for us. Our pup was well cared for and clean upon our return. Highly recommend her services.”

About: By word of mouth I’ve been recommended to care for the dogs of my friends, family, community members. I’ve had two dogs in my lifetime and am willing to love yours as if they were my own while maintaining their needs and giving you lots of pup-dates I work part time mid day during weekdays at the YMCA and part time some nights at Tavola. Milesburg pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sydney did an amazing job caring for our 3 dogs and 2 cats at our home. I haven't been this relaxed on a vacation in a long time. She sent lots of pictures, followed all of our directions and took great care of our home. She was great at communicating with us and we enjoyed all the pictures she shared. She provided lots of playtime and enrichment for our dogs and they seemed very happy. One of my dogs is very anxious and even she seemed to love to snuggle up with Sydney and seemed very comfortable during our absence. We greatly appreciate all she did to care of your furry friends while we were gone.
