My name is Tricia and l bring more than nine years of professional veterinary medical experience, along with many years of caring for animals in my own home, as well as the homes of others. My experience includes dogs and cats as well as ferrets and a variety of small companion animals, giving me a broad understanding of different personalities, needs, and comfort levels. What sets me apart is not only my professional animal-care background, but the way I approach the animals entrusted to me. I believe animals deserve to be treated with patience, kindness, respect, and compassion. I do not believe in forcing or intimidating an animal into compliance. Instead, I pay attention to what each individual animal is communicating and work to help them feel safe and comfortable in my care. My veterinary experience has also taught me to be observant. I understand the importance of noticing changes in an animal’s behavior, appetite, mobility, bathroom habits, or general demeanor that someone without a medical background might overlook. I am comfortable caring for animals with a wide variety of needs and understand the importance of following an owner’s instructions carefully. I am mature, dependable, and responsible, and I understand what it means to have someone trust me with both a beloved animal and access to their home. I have reliable transportation, can offer flexibility with scheduling, and may be available with relatively short notice. Whether your pet is outgoing and immediately wants to make a new friend or needs a little more time and space to become comfortable, I am happy to meet them where they are. My goal is for you to have peace of mind while you’re away and for your pet to feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. I have one dog named, Cooper and two kitties named, Luna and Liebchen! I am comfortable watching your pet(s) in the clients home, preferably. Definitely cats, as mine get stressed out around new cats.

About: I have 20+ years of experience caring for animals, including cats, dogs, and even three pet mice! I’ve cared for my own pets as well as friends’ and family members’ pets over the years, so I’m comfortable with animals of all different personalities and needs. I currently have two cats of my own, one of whom has medical needs, and I’d love to give your pets the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I work part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to give your pets the time and attention they need, especially in the mornings and evenings. I’m also happy to help on weekends or care for your pets for multiple days in a row! I would treat your pets like my own, with the same love and care my boys receive! Whether you have a quiet kitty, a spicy kitty, a playful pup, or a dog who just wants some extra company, I’d be happy to help. About: I will care for your best friend in my dog friendly home with a fenced in yard. I have had dogs my entire life and have experience from puppy age until old age. I am comfortable with handling medications and special needs. I can send pictures and remain in contact as much as you would like. I can do house sitting, drop in visits, walks, doggie day care and over night stays. I can do short term and long term stays. My home is very dog friendly and your animal would be taken outside at least every 4 hours. I can’t allow cats in my home. However, I can house sit for cats. I look forward to caring for your pets as if they were my own. I have always had pets and they are a main focus in my daily and weekly routine. Making sure they are happy and healthy is my priority and I can alter my routine to meet a pets needs. I care for your pets as if they were my own. I will follow your exercise, rest, play, and feeding guidelines. I will do my best to make your pets as comfortable as they would be at home.

About: As a child, my family had a Maltese since he was a puppy and he lived until the age of 15 years old. His life expectancy was around 7 years old, so he was a senior dog. I learned how to take care of my dog at a young age and was responsible for taking care of him. Now, my parents and I have a puppy named Shylo Esch. He is a mix of Bernese mountain dog and mini poodle. I have attended puppy class with him at Manners N' More in Bellefonte, PA. I also frequently walk my family friend's dog who is a Labrador retriever. I grew up around dogs and learning to and caring for them, I have a deep love for taking care of dogs. I work a part-time job throughout the week, with an open availability of being scheduled (shifts can range between 5:30 am-midnight) of anywhere between 20-35 hours. Dog sitting is my happy & rewarding "side hustle". 😁 I usually have a few appointments scheduled every other week and make plans with friends/family whenever we have time. My calendar is left open as my work schedule is variable. I only block out days I will be traveling out of town. When considering booking dog care, I make sure I have the availability for your pup(s) and communicate with you about it. My baby dog, Shylo Esch, has been spoiled by my parents with many toys and treats. He is treat motivated from his puppy training, leashed for outdoor walks and goes in his crate when nobody is home. I hold myself to a strong work ethic when caring for dogs by creating a disciplined yet empathetic stance when caring for fur babies or elderly dogs. In my clients home, I closely follow the rules and duties of the care they require to care for their dogs. I set up a meet n' greet with the dog and owner before committing. I like to meet the dog beforehand to see if we are a good fit by interacting, playing with or taking them on a walk with the owner around their usual route in order to gauge their temperament and comfortability with me. I ask various questions about how the owner takes care of the dog, so I can best follow their lead. I ask about daily routine activities, food schedule, treat frequency, walking time, habits, likes, dislikes, etc. I prefer to follow the daily routine and activities that the dog is used to in order to keep them on track while their owner is away. (**The app takes 20% from my pay so what's advertised is not what I get paid out**)

About: Hello Hello! My name is Olivia and I have had dogs, cats, fish, you name it ever since I was little. In May, I started working at a doggy daycare/pet hotel and it was an amazing experience and made me realize I want to keep doing it. While I work at the restaurant a few days a week, I’m not gone for too long. I can walk and take care of the babies accordingly! I live in a four bedroom house with three roommates, 1 female 2 male, in a quiet neighborhood. I don’t have a yard but the neighborhood is very good to take walks around!

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was young. I understand that pets are apart of the family and how difficult it is to leave them behind when on vacations. That’s why it’s so important to me to make sure there is someone who treats my animals the same way! Alex (my significant other) and I would love nothing more than making sure your furry friend remains comfortable and safe while you are away. Alex and I both work through the day but live very local (5 minutes from our home) so we can check on them throughout the day if needed. We are also very active so pets that need extra walking or a hike is not a big issue for us in the least! I work full time and so does my partner Alex, however we both get an hour lunch and are willing to both work around schedules to fit where needed! Both of us do live very close to home so if needed we can always stop by the house and check in. My pets are my family so yours would become my family as well! Both cats and dogs need someone that is going to be willing to play with them daily! I have multiple kennels of different sizes if a pet needs one/is comfortable with one. If not I also have a room dedicated to keeping pets comfy while I am gone during the day. It’s always helpful to have a space where pets can decompress when they are in an unknown location.
