About: I grew up in a home that was always full of animals...both big and small. My mother has been a dog person since before I was born, so from an early age, I was attending obedience and agility classes with her, and even participating in a few competitions. By my early teens, I had become the go-to pet sitter for friends and neighbors, regularly caring for their dogs. For five years, prior to 2020, my teenage daughter and I volunteered at an all-volunteer, no-kill animal rescue, where we served as dog walkers and cat caretakers. That experience gave me hands-on skills with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. Until recently, I lived with two dogs of my own (my ex-partner’s pups), and I still frequently care for my mom’s two dogs when she is away helping my sister with her young children. In addition to dogs, I have years of experience fostering and caring for cats, so multi-pet households are second nature to me. Animals have always been a central part of my life, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality while providing them with the care, comfort, and consistency they deserve. My tabby cat, Lavender, and moved to Bellefonte in the spring of 2025, and I look forward to meeting your furry friends! I am a part-time school teacher and am available most weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as most weekends. This availability may change based on school activities, but I will be sure to communicate with you as soon as I know! I strive to carefully read and review, then mindfully follow all care instructions left, so that your pets are stimulated, safe, happy and healthy! I’ve cared for my own pets as well as friends’ and family members’ pets over the years, so I’m comfortable with animals of all different personalities and needs. I currently have two cats of my own, one of whom has medical needs, and I’d love to give your pets the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I work part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to give your pets the time and attention they need, especially in the mornings and evenings. I have classes Monday through Friday, generally between 10 AM and 1 PM, although my class times vary by day. I’m available to help before and after my classes, as well as on weekends. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and schedule to make sure they get the care and attention they need! Because I have two cats at home who don’t get along with dogs, I don’t offer pet care in my apartment. Instead, I’m happy to come to your home to care for your pets in their own familiar environment. I’ll follow your instructions and routines closely and make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
About: I have taken care of dogs for the most part of my life. I have never not had a dog in my house. I also look after my bosses dogs when needed. My grandma helped me understand the responsibality for taking care of animals. I am free Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays after 1 in the afternoon and I am free Tuesday and Thursdays all day until 5:45 as I have cheer those days until 8:30. Wednesdays I am available until 6-8 because I have cheer lift. I am also available most weekends unless I have something for cheer. I am unable to take pets into my home because I am renting for school, but I am able to go to your house and take care of pets there.
