About: I grew up in a home that was always full of animals...both big and small. My mother has been a dog person since before I was born, so from an early age, I was attending obedience and agility classes with her, and even participating in a few competitions. By my early teens, I had become the go-to pet sitter for friends and neighbors, regularly caring for their dogs. For five years, prior to 2020, my teenage daughter and I volunteered at an all-volunteer, no-kill animal rescue, where we served as dog walkers and cat caretakers. That experience gave me hands-on skills with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. Until recently, I lived with two dogs of my own (my ex-partner’s pups), and I still frequently care for my mom’s two dogs when she is away helping my sister with her young children. In addition to dogs, I have years of experience fostering and caring for cats, so multi-pet households are second nature to me. Animals have always been a central part of my life, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality while providing them with the care, comfort, and consistency they deserve. My tabby cat, Lavender, and moved to Bellefonte in the spring of 2025, and I look forward to meeting your furry friends! I am a part-time school teacher and am available most weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as most weekends. This availability may change based on school activities, but I will be sure to communicate with you as soon as I know! I strive to carefully read and review, then mindfully follow all care instructions left, so that your pets are stimulated, safe, happy and healthy! I am also diligent about communicating with you so you know how things are going!
“Crystal was so sweet and kind! She sent many photos and videos of our cat and even offered to go above and beyond our expectations. Overall, she was a great sitter and this was honestly the best experience we’ve ever had on Rover. Highly recommend!!!”

“Abbie did a wonderful job looking after our two cats. She followed all of our instructions and somehow even got our one very shy cat to gladly interact with her. Definitely will be using again!”

About: As an incoming 1st year vet student, I have devoted over 8000 hours to veterinary medicine. This has given me experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, including young puppies, senior dogs, fractious cats, and medically complex pets. Additionally, I am a dog foster and have recovered medically complex pups from intense surgeries/traumas. Given those experiences, I am comfortable administering medications both orally and injectables, as well as recognizing signs and symptoms of illness. As well, I have a behaviorally complex German Shepherd of my own, and feel comfortable recognizing and avoiding triggers, or safely deescalating situations if they arise. I currently work at an emergency vet with varying shifts, including some overnights, weekends, and evenings. This also means I have many days I can spent my time exclusively with your pets to get some energy out during the daylight! I welcome the opportunity to discuss my schedule during your trip specifically! After a lifetime in veterinary medicine & kennel assistant responsibilities, I’ve learned the ins and outs of pet safety, especially with behaviorally complex pets. I am happy to work with each pet specifically to cater to where they feel best- whether that be crated, on the couch beside me, or anywhere in between!
About: I have been a volunteer foster at Centre County Paws for 8 years. I have fostered 8 week old puppies to 13 year old senior dogs. I have seen it all: separation anxiety, severe malnutrition, high energy, resource guarding, dog aggression, etc. Your dogs are my top priority and I want to keep their routines consistent as possible. I am currently a senior in highschool, so overnight stays are typically restricted to weekends until June, but I am flexible if you live within 20 minutes of Bellefonte. I am free for 7:30am pee breaks and any time after 3:00pm during weekdays. I have finicky dogs, so I understand providing for a dog with specific needs. I can jog, play fetch, snuggle, and any type of quality time your dog needs. I will spend lots of time with your cats, cuddling and playing with toys are my favorite activities!
About: I’ve taken care of animals, primarily dogs, since I was a little girl, around age 5. I was raised with coonhounds and a beagle and enjoyed helping to feed and bath our coonhounds. I would show our coonhounds in dog shows and I had no issues handling a bigger breed. My beagle was my house dog and best friend and went everywhere with me. I am currently a dog mom to two beagles. Ringo, age 13, and Jakey, age 10. I recently rescued Jakey from Nittany Beagle Rescue, and I am a volunteer dog walker with the organization as well. Prior to Jakey, I had a rescue beagle named Brewski. Brewski had back issues and as he got older, he required a doggie wheelchair to help with his outdoor mobility needs and required doggie belly wraps for incontinence issues. I currently work so I am available any time on the weekends to care for your pet. I am also available most evenings beginning around to walk your pet. I currently use a leash for my dogs, or a tie out when they need to go out to the bathroom. I do not currently crate my dogs, but have crated them in the past.
“Jessie came for a meet & greet on very short notice. She had a notebook and asked the proper questions, dogs loved her. Very happy to have found her and feel like the dogs are in good hands for their upcoming visit with her!”

About: I have my own cat who I got when she was a tiny bean! I have watched my neighbor's dogs and let them out when needed. I lived with a dog in college and took her on walks. I am waiting for my job to start up in mid-June, until then I have open availability! When my job starts I will be open some weekends and later in the evenings. I keep a watchful eye in fenced-in yards, you never know! If there is no fence I will always have the dog on a leash. Cats deserve just as much love! I will give them the attention they deserve.

About: Hi! I’m Jonathan—an experienced coach, teacher, and dedicated dog lover now based in Bellefonte, PA. I’ve spent years working with kids and teams, which means I bring patience, structure, and strong communication into everything I do, including caring for your dog. I understand how important trust is when someone is looking after your pet, and I treat every dog like part of the family. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work a consistent schedule, which allows me to plan walks, drop-ins, and check-ins at reliable times throughout the day. I stay active, so I enjoy incorporating walks and playtime into my routine—whether that’s morning walks, afternoon visits, or evening check-ins. I’m also used to managing schedules from coaching and teaching, so I prioritize being on time, organized, and consistent for every visit. On a weekly basis, I keep my availability flexible so I can accommodate different needs, including recurring walks or last-minute bookings when possible. I also make sure to communicate clearly with owners and provide updates, so you always know how your pet is doing. About: Throughout my life, I’ve taken care of 4 cats, 2 dogs, three guinea pigs & a ball python. I am comfortable with any species and breed! I’ve held great responsibility to walk, feed, groom and play with my own & others fur babies. I’m up for any task.. big or small. I’ll be there for your pets needs. Currently I hold a full-time job as a support manager. I don’t have a consistent schedule, but I’ve been able to walk/feed pets before and after work. I mostly do mornings and mid shifts. With that being said, I can make it work. Let’s talk! I've never cared for someone elses pet in my own house. I prefer to stay at a clients home, so the animal(s) is comfortable and the necessities needed to perform my duties for said pet are easily accessible.
