About: Hello! I am a junior at Penn State majoring in Material Science and Engineering! For dog parents, I started my pet parent journey with dogs 😊. While I personally don’t have a dog, I’ve taken many of my friends’ dogs out for walks/runs and I’m very comfortable with all personalities. I live an active lifestyle so for those with high energy dogs, I’d love to offer my services. For cat parents, my family and I have been taking care of cats for the better part of 4 years now. We’ve been through almost all emergencies, hurdles, and hoops so you can trust you’re putting your cats in good hands 😊. I’m currently a full time student at PSU university park but right now over the summer many of my classes are online so my calendar is incredibly flexible for pet care routines. About: Big or small, I’ve probably kissed it on the nose! My vet hospital experience gives me the ability to acknowledge changes in each species better than most. I’m a lover of horses and cows, so big dogs wouldn’t be any different for me. I’m happy to administer medications, keep up with a training schedule/routine, keep up with their energy needs by going to the dog park or walks, etc. I’m known to be a confident, compassionate, and reliable person with animals. I’m a morning person! I’m available most mornings and evenings. My class schedule doesn’t have me on campus for extended periods of time. About: Growing up, I've helped train and take care of 2 cats, 5 dogs, and at one point 9 puppies. I can speak Spanish at a conversational level. And I probably will enjoy playing and going on walks just as much as the pet will. I am currently in college as a full time student. About: I have taken care of family and friends dogs for the past 4 years, both while living in college and while at home. I have experience working with mainly teenage to older dogs, but have some experience working with younger dogs when my family got our first dogs. About: I have been taking care of dogs most of my life whether it be the 2 dogs that have been part of my family or taking care of neighbors dogs when they are out of town. I currently work part time so my schedule for pet care is very flexible and I would be available at most hours of the day. Jana is now my go-to gal to watch my three guinea pigs! Her communication has been very detailed and consistent each time I have booked with her. She is extremely personable and treats my pets as her own. Her education background and experience in the medical field also made me more confident to leave her with my chronically ill pig that is on meds twice a day as well as my other pig who had surgery a few weeks ago. Her updates included monitoring my pigs eating, drinking, pooping, and moving around per usual, which is so important for pocket pets! Jana is the best and my guinea pigs love her!
Genevieve is wonderful! She took excellent care of our senior kitty, Wu, who requires medication at a specific time every day. She offered to come over before we left town to meet Wu and to make sure she knew how to administer her meds. While we were away, she always arrived on time and sent us an update with pics after every visit. It is clear that she loves kitties and cares about doing a great job. We so appreciated the way she cared for Wu and our home and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!
Carla was amazing! She came to meet our two dogs prior to watching them for us. We were a bit hesitant to use a service as our usual pet sitter was going to be out of town. Carla was delightful and we trusted her immediately to care for our girls. She sent us great pictures of our dogs while we were away. You can tell she is a true animal lover. Miri was AMAZING with my two kitty girls! She went above and beyond - took great care of them. She was very communicative & took so many photos (in which the girls looked SO relaxed - my senior cat even came out for visits which is very unusual, sitters rarely see her)! My only complaint is that I wish I had booked her sooner during my time at PSU - she is a fantastic sitter who has her own cats & really has such a good vibe! Thank you Miri!!!! 🫶🏻🐾
Laura is the absolute best! I have a rescue dog who is very skeptical of new people, and after using Laura a second time, he has really warmed up to her and trusts her which is a HUGE accomplishment. He normally does not take a treat or play fetch with new people, and he did with her!
