About: I've had 2 dogs, and I had a wonderful list of clients in Vermont. They were friends or became friends. Your dog is my love. I am retired. My daily schedule is fairly flexible right now except for a morning class at the Y. This is my only part-time job. I follow all of your expectations, and I will spend a lot of time cuddling and playing. I also talk a lot to your pets!

About: As a child, my family had a Maltese since he was a puppy and he lived until the age of 15 years old. His life expectancy was around 7 years old, so he was a senior dog. I learned how to take care of my dog at a young age and was responsible for taking care of him. Now, my parents and I have a puppy named Shylo Esch. He is a mix of Bernese mountain dog and mini poodle. I have attended puppy class with him at Manners N' More in Bellefonte, PA. I also frequently walk my family friend's dog who is a Labrador retriever. I grew up around dogs and learning to and caring for them, I have a deep love for taking care of dogs. I am currently job searching and am working to enroll back at Penn State in the fall full time. I usually have appointments scheduled throughout the week and plans with friends/family whenever we have time. When considering booking dog care, I make sure I have the availability for your pup(s) and communicate with you about it. My baby dog, Shylo Esch, has been spoiled by my parents with many toys and treats. He is treat motivated from his puppy training, leashed for outdoor walks and goes in his crate when nobody is home. I hold myself to a strong work ethic when caring for dogs by creating a disciplined yet empathetic stance when caring for fur babies or elderly dogs. In my clients home, I closely follow the rules and duties of the care they require to care for their dogs. I set up a meet n' greet with the dog and owner before committing. I like to meet the dog beforehand to see if we are a good fit by interacting, playing with or taking them on a walk with the owner around their usual route in order to gauge their temperament and comfortability with me. I ask various questions about how the owner takes care of the dog, so I can best follow their lead. I ask about daily routine activities, food schedule, treat frequency, walking time, habits, likes, dislikes, etc. I prefer to follow the daily routine and activities that the dog is used to in order to keep them on track while their owner is away.

About: My family has had dogs and cats my entire life so I am experienced in taking care of both, I often watch the pets of friends and family. I am a grad student so my schedule is very flexible. I am able to check on cats in the morning and at night, helping with routine related activities (e.g. feeding, changing water, etc) I have a safe and secure home with minimal clutter, since I myself have a cat I make sure to keep dangerous things out of his reach and am conscious of reducing risk in all situations. For example, my cat does not have access to bags (to reduce risk of suffocation), or medicines, or sharp objects.

I am very familiar with training strategies as I just went through them including potty training, leash training, etc. I would love to extend love and care to your babies as well! About: I’ve taken care of my dogs since I was 11! I’d take them for walks, give them baths, brush them and feed them! Since I’m an only child, animals have been the closest thing I’ve had to siblings lol. My mom and I have five animals, four cats and a dog, and I love them to pieces! As a result, I can proudly say I have a good amount of experience working with animals of many different shapes and sizes. I’m currently a part-time college student but all my classes are online. This means I can go anywhere at any time. I’d love to spend time with your animals as I do my homework. :) At home I usually like to make sure I’m always in the same room as our dog! I try my best to keep any dangerous food/ objects out of reach.

About: I grew up taking care of pets for neighbors and family, and have had many of my own. At home now, I have our dog Kona and a bearded dragon named Norbert, plus two kids. I'm comfortable with caring for all dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I'd love to send you photos and updates if you would like so you know how things are going while you are away. I can't wait to meet your furry friend! I'm home most of the day, so your pet won't be left alone for long stretches. I absolutely love taking walks so we will be doing plenty of those. If your pet needs a specific feeding or potty schedule, just let me know and I'll stick to it. Our yard isn't fenced, so your dog will go out on leash for walks and potty breaks several times a day. My Dog is super friendly and always up for a new friend. If your pup prefers quiet time or needs a crate to decompress, I can absolutely make that happen as well. I will go over your dogs preferences when I get a chance to talk with you. I'm more than happy to make accommodations to fit your pets needs.

About: I've spent my life making furry and feathered friends! From doggos and horses to birds, hamsters, chickens, and even cats I've pet sat, I've loved every single one like family. I work full-time, but I'm available for pet care before and after work, as well as on weekends. I'm happy to help with walks, drop-in visits, and quality time when you need it most!
