About: My family has had dogs my whole life, and I have loved them just as long. I have experience with puppies, elderly dogs, and everything in between. Size and breed is not a factor when it comes to animals I won’t work with; so long as the dog has a good attitude, I will, too. About: I grew up in a home that was always full of animals...both big and small. My mother has been a dog person since before I was born, so from an early age, I was attending obedience and agility classes with her, and even participating in a few competitions. By my early teens, I had become the go-to pet sitter for friends and neighbors, regularly caring for their dogs. For five years, prior to 2020, my teenage daughter and I volunteered at an all-volunteer, no-kill animal rescue, where we served as dog walkers and cat caretakers. That experience gave me hands-on skills with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. Until recently, I lived with two dogs of my own (my ex-partner’s pups), and I still frequently care for my mom’s two dogs when she is away helping my sister with her young children. In addition to dogs, I have years of experience fostering and caring for cats, so multi-pet households are second nature to me. Animals have always been a central part of my life, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality while providing them with the care, comfort, and consistency they deserve. My tabby cat, Lavender, and moved to Bellefonte in the spring of 2025, and I look forward to meeting your furry friends! I am a part-time school teacher and am available most weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as most weekends. This availability may change based on school activities, but I will be sure to communicate with you as soon as I know! I strive to carefully read and review, then mindfully follow all care instructions left, so that your pets are stimulated, safe, happy and healthy! I am also diligent about communicating with you so you know how things are going!

About: I’ve always been a dog family, growing up with always 2 dogs or more in my family households. When I was 20, I adopted my soul dog Dusty, who was extremely dog reactive. He showed me a lot of how to deal with reactive dogs, especially on walks and dealing with strangers who may not get that their dog may be friendly, but yours may need that extra space to be comfortable. I now also own two cats, adopted from the local shelter Paws and they have become my life. They are very clingy but also shy towards strangers. So I also very understand if you own some shy cats, I would love them just the same! I currently live all year in State College, work full time but still have plenty of time for my cats and still have more time for others. Just let me know 24 hours ahead or more and it can happen! I am fully comfortable crating all kinds of dogs, walking any breed, or dealing with any shy temperamental cat. I really love animals with all my heart, and you have my word when you’re not home- you don’t need to worry about your furry loved one back home.

About: We love dogs! We enjoyed our beautiful Bichon for 17 years and now we have a Portuguese Water Dog and a rescued Labradoodle. We're looking forward to providing your pup with a fun, safe place to stay. We have a large 4 acre lot with about 1/2 acre of fenced yard. Jodi works part time, which allows for plenty of time for midday play, walks and outdoor time. Our fur babies love playing with each other and we often host play dates with friends and their dogs, that are always a big hit. We know how difficult it is to find someone you trust with your baby, and we look forward to welcoming your dog into our home while you take that business trip or long overdue vacation. Working part time allows for extra time with my dogs...and yours! Our dogs are family - they sit with us on the couch and sleep in our bed. Yours will be free to relax wherever they find most comfortable. We have a fenced yard in addition to a large wooded lot that your babies are sure to enjoy. Our two friendly dogs will keep your fur baby company and I can also easily crate your dog inside, if needed.

About: As a child, my family had a Maltese since he was a puppy and he lived until the age of 15 years old. His life expectancy was around 7 years old, so he was a senior dog. I learned how to take care of my dog at a young age and was responsible for taking care of him. Now, my parents and I have a puppy named Shylo Esch. He is a mix of Bernese mountain dog and mini poodle. I have attended puppy class with him at Manners N' More in Bellefonte, PA. I also frequently walk my family friend's dog who is a Labrador retriever. I grew up around dogs and learning to and caring for them, I have a deep love for taking care of dogs. I have a part time job that I usually work 5-7 hour shifts at, with varying hours between 15-30 hours per week. I am currently taking a break from college classes, I used to attend PSU. I have various appointments scheduled in advance throughout the week. I make plans with friends and family whenever I have time to see them. My baby dog, Shylo Esch, has been spoiled by my parents with many toys and treats. He is treat motivated from puppy training class he attended & graduated from. We leash him for outdoor walks. However his best friends, Lola & Mocha, and sister, Maisie, are the only dogs so far we let play time off leash in our yard together. I am very caring for dogs and I hold myself to a very strong work ethic and compassionate stance when dealing with fur babies and elderly dogs. In my clients home, I follow their rules and duties. I prefer to set up a meet n' greet with the dog and owner before committing. I like to meet the dog and see if we are a good fit by playing with the dog or taking them on a walk with the owner around their usual route. I ask various questions about how the owner takes care of the dog, so I can best follow their lead. I ask about daily routine activities, food schedule, treat frequency, walking time, habits, likes, dislikes, etc. I prefer to follow the daily routine and activities that the dog is used to in order to keep them on track while their owner is away.

About: Hi! My name is Katie! I am a student at Penn State and a lover of all creatures, large and small! I have had family dogs throughout my childhood. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, breeds with longer coats, and both large and small breeds. I also have experience with handling rescues of various sizes with different triggers. I also have grown up with cats and have experience with all ages and sizes too! Additionally, I have experience with caring for pet rabbits. I have had several over the years. **I do not have experience with disabled or dogs with special needs, however I am willing to learn and accommodate whenever necessary! I am currently working part-time and am a part-time student at Penn State (student status subject to change). I will have plenty of time to tend to your fur babies! I cannot provide boarding services at this time, so all my pet care services will be at or around your home. I can walk the dogs, play with them, make sure they are properly fed and watered, and take them outside regularly.

About: My family has had dogs and cats my entire life so I am experienced in taking care of both, I often watch the pets of friends and family. I am a grad student so my schedule is very flexible. I am able to check on cats in the morning and at night, helping with routine related activities (e.g. feeding, changing water, etc) I have a safe and secure home with minimal clutter, since I myself have a cat I make sure to keep dangerous things out of his reach and am conscious of reducing risk in all situations. For example, my cat does not have access to bags (to reduce risk of suffocation), or medicines, or sharp objects.

About: I've taken care of cats since five years ago. We have our own cat, Puffy, and also take care of our friends' cats from time to time. My two boys are both cat lovers and very helpful for taking care of cats. I'm working parttime at home, so I am at home most of the time. My schedule is very flexible and should be able to fit your needs. We have a single house, which provide plenty of space for cats to explore. We will clean the litter box every day for your cats. We also have plenty of toys for your cats to play with.

About: Growing up my family had a miniature schnauzer and we were lucky enough to have her in our lives for 18 years! I would walk her every day, administer tick and flea medicine, teach her tricks, make eating her food fun as she got older, took her to the groomer, and of course gave her lots of attention and playtime. I've also walked a handful of my friends' dogs before either just around the block or for a few miles depending on much exercise they need. I'm also familiar with drop in visits to feed dogs dinner or let them out to run around in the yard. Right now I work part time so I have some availability during the work week, as well as the weekends. I'd be happy to come walk your dog before work, let your dog out (and or walk them) around lunch time, feed your dog or cat breakfast, lunch or dinner, as well as just spending time playing with your pets and making sure they are getting the attention they need when you are away. When I am in your home I will be diligent to make sure I am providing your pet the care that you have asked for. I like to know what is expected of me to make sure I provide quality care so I may ask some questions to ensure I am successful!

About: I grew up taking care of pets for neighbors and family, and have had many of my own. At home now, I have our dog Kona and a bearded dragon named Norbert, plus two kids. I'm comfortable with caring for all dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I'd love to send you photos and updates if you would like so you know how things are going while you are away. I can't wait to meet your furry friend! I'm home most of the day, so your pet won't be left alone for long stretches. I absolutely love taking walks so we will be doing plenty of those. If your pet needs a specific feeding or potty schedule, just let me know and I'll stick to it. Our yard isn't fenced, so your dog will go out on leash for walks and potty breaks several times a day. My Dog is super friendly and always up for a new friend. If your pup prefers quiet time or needs a crate to decompress, I can absolutely make that happen as well. I will go over your dogs preferences when I get a chance to talk with you. I'm more than happy to make accommodations to fit your pets needs.

About: I grew up with 2 dogs and now I have a 1 year old chocolate lab puppy who just graduated from training. I am very familiar with training strategies as I just went through them including potty training, leash training, etc. I would love to extend love and care to your babies as well! I am a Penn State student who is local to State College. I have a light schedule and even have a puppy of my own so I am taking care of pets all day everyday! I am currently taking a class remotely and am able to spend all day with your pet as I have a pet of my own that I am spending time with!
