About: I've taken care of cats since five years ago. We have our own cat, Puffy, and also take care of our friends' cats from time to time. My two boys are both cat lovers and very helpful for taking care of cats. I'm working parttime at home, so I am at home most of the time. My schedule is very flexible and should be able to fit your needs. We have a single house, which provide plenty of space for cats to explore. We will clean the litter box every day for your cats. About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs since I was 12, as well as my neighbors dogs for the last 7 years. From pit bulls to golden retrievers, I love spending time with dogs of all breeds. “As others here are saying, Ruth was *really* great--my somewhat shy, standoffish cat quickly and visibly warmed to her (she had a very gentle, low-key way of introducing herself to him). It was a relief to have her checking in on him. As to logistics: she was extremely quick and precise in answering messages, and very patient and flexible with the multiple times I had to tweak my booking request (because of unforeseen travel changes on my end). The kitchen was cleaner than when I left, and Ruth also went out of the way to bring trash and recycling containers off the street, something I hadn't asked her to do but appreciate. As to keeping this skeptical little cat company: she was very perceptive; I would genuinely trust her if there were an emergency of basically any kind. She put him at ease and got him to eat (something he sometimes is reluctant to do when stressed); she must have been a very reassuring presence. About: Growing up with dogs all my life along with my animal science major I well versed in medication routines, early morning to late night potty breaks, special dietary needs to the ones who have been loved past their youth and need a little extra care. I’ve been bit, scratched, slobbered and thrown up on and there is nothing too much to handle I’m working part time at a restaurant however I am more than willing to make time during off days for your fur-babies, walks and regular exercise, quick check ins and long stays I will make time to do. First time using this using this app. I had some last minute things come up on a holiday weekend and was very fortunate to come across Katherine. She is so responsive and flexible, she come over to get squinted with my animal the same night I placed my request and checkin during her visits and outside of here visit to make sure my animal we safe and cared for in case of any emergency. It really show how much delight she get out of this type of work and I trust her in my home and with my animals. I was very hesitant to use this type of service with someone I didn’t know and was in a dire position with no available friend to ask. This was our first Rover experience, and Madison exceeded all expectations. We have two small dogs, one of whom is very reactive and fearful of strangers, so we were nervous going in. Madison scheduled a meet-and-greet, was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and unfazed by all the barking.
