Your pet's safety and health is paramount, as well as the safety and security of your home. Unless otherwise discussed, your pet will get 1:1 care with me, and we'll steer clear of other people, animals, dog parks, etc. that would create a potential safety issue. If your do prefer for your pet to have more interaction and socialization, I am happy to have my dog or other family members visit too so your pet gets more stimulus. I'll also keep an eye on your house and let you know anything you need to be aware of while you're away.

A great walk with a dog or a play session with a cat or other pet is the highlight of any day. I also love teaching dogs new tricks and playing games with them. It's so fun to watch them learn and enjoy working their brains! Animals are so much smarter than most people give them credit for, so giving them the mental stimulation they need is really rewarding.

Spending time with animals is one of the most fun and rewarding things I do in life. Pets make our world brighter and happier! I have owned dogs, cats, and aquatic animals my entire life, and have spent years professionally caring for well over 100 pets of all types with different needs. Nothing is more important than your pet's safety and happiness, so that is my #1 priority! As a pet owner myself, I know just how worrisome it can be to leave your beloved friend in the care of a stranger. That's why as a pet sitter, I work extra hard to communicate with you extremely well throughout your time away, with lots of updates and pictures, so you can rest easy knowing your pet is having a blast with a great new friend! I've been inspired by some exceptional sitters that I've been lucky enough to hire through Rover, and I try to step up my game to be deserving of your pet's love. When I am taking care of your pet, you're getting more than just a potty break for them; you're getting somebody who is genuinely invested in bonding with your pet, ensuring all their needs are attended to, and giving them a great time while we're together. After each visit, you'll get a detailed description of everything we did together, including any health or behavior notes I'd want you to be aware of so you're 100% informed about how your pet is doing, and how we're working together as a team. I'm athletic enough to keep up with your high-energy dog that needs to run and exercise, and calm and relaxed enough to soothe your anxious dog that's missing you while you're away. As a GoodPup Certified Dog Trainer, I also really enjoy positive dog training using rewards to teach new words and skills that can really keep a dog stimulated and happy. Who knows, when you get your dog back after a visit with me they might know a new trick!

Dave is outstanding with both of our dogs. He is always so positive with pictures too! We are so lucky to have found him.
Dave was outstanding and took great care of Luna , fed her and took her on a wonderful walk and the pictures he sent Luna looked so happy! We will hire Dave again definitely for our Luna!
Dave is absolutely the best. He provides great updates and pictures of your pet during his drop in visits. I should also point out that he clearly pays attention to your pet which is evident by the pictures he sends to you. And it should also be noted that he responds to your requests for a drop in very quickly.
Dave did a great job checking in on my cat. He is very reliable and great communicating. He did an excellent job making sure my cat was comfortable and cared for.
