About: Looking forward to meet your dog! I love to spend time outdoors, especially hiking and long walks. Experienced in pet sitting and walking in the past. I'm currently working in a research lab from 10-1 during the weekdays, along with practice in the morning. Open to walks in the afternoon. I have past experience walking dogs, and having a dog myself. Understand how to keep your dog safe, and make sure that they have a great walk!

Maya took very good care of our little Ellie. Clearly adores dogs and has lots of experience taking care of them - we'll definitely be reaching out to her again next time we're headed out of town!

Our lab loved Kevin & we will definitely book with him again. Our dog is an energetic rescue & doesn't like to be alone. Kevin was able to accommodate & was very attentive; he played with him outside in his yard, took him to the dog park & took him along in the car. Plus all the items I took were returned clean & organized!

About: What sets me apart is my ability to tailor my care to the specific needs of each pet. Whether it's training a new puppy with positive reinforcement techniques or providing specialized care for senior pets, I focus on understanding and addressing their individual requirements. My approach includes regular communication with pet owners to ensure their preferences and routines are followed, making the experience as comfortable and seamless as possible for both pets and their families. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. I start by ensuring pets are fed, exercised, and given any necessary medications. Throughout the day, I maintain their environment and address any needs that arise. My routine also includes regular updates to pet owners, providing them with peace of mind and ensuring continuity of care. Each week, I review and adjust routines to accommodate any changes in the pet’s health or behavior. In my home, I ensure a pet-friendly environment with secure areas, clean spaces, and safety measures like pet-proofing and monitoring. I also follow a consistent routine to maintain stability and comfort for pets. In a client’s home, I prioritize safety by following their specific instructions and maintaining their pet’s usual environment and routines. I ensure that all doors and gates are securely closed, and I keep the home clean and hazard-free. Regular updates and open communication with the pet owners are key to ensuring their pet’s well-being and their own peace of mind.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was little. I also started volunteering at Centre County Paws, so I’ve furthered my skills in caring for dogs. I’m available Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. I work 12 hours shifts every other Wednesday, and every Thursday though Saturday. I also have a roommate who can help out. I don’t have a big yard to run around in, but there is plenty of places around to go for walks. Can crate if crate is available.

About: I have cared for many different types of animals since I was a child. Dogs, cats, bunnies, rats and hamsters. Fostered and lived with many dogs. I currently have dogs and cats. They are the joy of my life especially since the kids (and grand dogs) have grown and moved. Couldn’t imagine life without them. I have two dogs and 2 cats to keep the fur guests company. Lots of play time in the fenced back yard. And snuggles on the couch.

Jessica and her family did great with my pup, Chloe! We just did a one-night over night in anticipation of an upcoming 8-night stay. Jessica is friendly, affordable, and understanding when I was 30 minutes later than anticipated in picking up Chloe. Chloe was relaxed when I picked her up and looked good in all the pictures. I was especially happy to hear that Jessica's son made her a special seat to look out the window. :) Needless to say we have confirmed for the longer upcoming stay and hopefully for other stays in the future!

I would definitely book Ana again! She was prompt in communication, flexible with scheduling, and had a clean and great space to board my pup for 21 days. This was the longest I've been away from my pup for a while and she sent photos and videos every few days along with an update which I was so grateful for. There were no emergencies or incidents while we were out which just shows how much Ana took care to read the instructions and take the best care of Coral. You should absolutely book Ana!

Laura was fantastic with Tasha, she sent me updates and photos, walked her a couple of times a day. Tasha had a nice time staying overnight. But mostly, i loved that her boy enjoyed having her in his house :)

Our experience (and our two dogs") with Liss and Zach was overwhelmingly positive; we plan to use their services again the next time the poodles need a sitter. They made an extra effort from the beginning to make sure that the 9-day stay while we were traveling would go smoothly. During the stay, when there was any issue (e.g., typically our dogs go on a hunger strike for the first day or two of being boarded in a new environment), they communicated quickly and clearly with us to be sure we were comfortable with how they handled it. Their experience and knowledge of canine care really shows--we think the pups came back better-behaved and in better shape than when we dropped them off. The large fenced yard was great for high-energy, playful dogs like ours. Finally, it was clear that they had grown to like Liss and Zach. Sure, they were glad to see us again, but there was none of the frantic "Save me, get me out of here" reaction we've seen after some boarding experience.

Such a good experience! Sent me plenty of photos and let me know that my dog behaved very well. This was my first time boarding my dog and felt at ease leaving her with Isabella. Was very accommodating when it came to some of my travel delays and communicated well. Thank you!! Would definitely book again!

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
