“Rillan is fantastic! Our dog is afraid of strangers and we are worried about her situation before coming. We chose Rillan because she had experience with feared dogs. Our dog, DianDian, had a great experience here and I believed she made friends with Rillan. We also received lovely pictures of DianDian almost everyday. Feel free to put your dog here since it’s a good choice!”

“Had a great experience with Kenya and Simone, and it was clear that our dog was much more relaxed than in a traditional kennel. I appreciated Kenya meeting with us beforehand, since it was my first time using Rover. And great to receive pics of activities during the stay--including watching the World Cup together. :) Very prompt communication, both before and during the stay. Would definitely book with them again!”

“My dog loved his stay with Derya! Derya was great at sending us updates and pictures/videos of our dog daily. My dog was well cared for and very happy by the time we picked him up. I am glad to have found such a caring and reliable dog sitter!”

“Granger had SO MUCH fun with Tess and Curt over a long weekend. They kept us so informed on how he was doing with photos and updates, it was great to have peace of mind that he was doing well! We couldn’t recommend them enough.”

“I had a fantastic experience with Crystal while she looked after my 9-month-old Snowshoe cat, Mavis, during my spring break. Right from the meet and greet, she knew her stuff. She introduced Mavis to her apartment, and her pet is around the same age, Sushi, and gave us some great tips on helping Mavis settle in. The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. Plus, she ensured Mavis got plenty of playtime – she understood Mavis's playful side. I was impressed by how Crystal helped Mavis and Sushi become friends. They hit it off after a little supervised playtime, which made me feel even better about leaving Mavis with her. What genuinely set Crystal apart was her communication. She kept in touch throughout my trip, sending updates and adorable pictures of Mavis. It was so reassuring to see Mavis happy and well taken care of while I was away. In short, Crystal is fantastic at what she does. She's caring, professional, and loves animals. I'll definitely be calling on her again next time I need a cat sitter.”

“I think I found our go-to dog sitter! My lab Winnie was in great hands with Ryan while I was traveling for work. I received frequent photo updates and could tell my pup really made herself at home. I love how Ryan has kids, lives near a park and works from home - a great combo for peace of mind. Ryan is the first person I'll 'call' next time I need dog care. :)”
“Jessica and her family were amazing sitters for our Labrador "Bella!" We couldn't have asked for a nicer or kinder family to entrust our fury family member. Bella loved her time with Jessica leaving my wife and I comforted to know she was in good care! Highly recommend Jessica for any pet sitting services. She took the time to periodically send videos and photos during Bella's stay. This further secured our trust that Bella was in good hands and allowed my wife and I to enjoy our vacation. We will definitely use Jessica again!”

About: I grew up taking care of pets for neighbors and family, and have had many of my own. At home now, I have our dog Kona and a bearded dragon named Norbert, plus two kids. I'm comfortable with caring for all dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I'd love to send you photos and updates if you would like so you know how things are going while you are away. I can't wait to meet your furry friend! I'm home most of the day, so your pet won't be left alone for long stretches. I absolutely love taking walks so we will be doing plenty of those. If your pet needs a specific feeding or potty schedule, just let me know and I'll stick to it. Our yard isn't fenced, so your dog will go out on leash for walks and potty breaks several times a day. My Dog is super friendly and always up for a new friend. If your pup prefers quiet time or needs a crate to decompress, I can absolutely make that happen as well. I will go over your dogs preferences when I get a chance to talk with you. I'm more than happy to make accommodations to fit your pets needs.
“Lola had a blast during her little vacation while we were out of town! We immediately felt comfortable leaving our pup with Jodi and she sent us pictures, videos, and other updates throughout Lola’s stay. We would definitely send Lola to her new friends’ house the next time we vacation!”

“Katrina was an absolute blessing while watching our senior dog, Fudge. We were away for our daughter's graduation and she made sure we could be fully present without a second of worry. She took Fudge on gentle walks tailored to his pace, and constantly sent the sweetest videos and photos that had us smiling the whole weekend. You can tell she truly loves senior dogs — she was patient, attentive, and treated Fudge like her own. Returning to a happy, relaxed pup was the best graduation gift we could ask for. We trust Katina 100% and will be booking her again. If you have a senior dog, she’s your person!”
“Very nice and treated my dog great. She was great with following instruction of my dogs daily routine and updated me throughout the day with photos and how my dog was doing. She has a fenced in yard which was great!!”

“Our dog seemed to fall in love with Kevin. We also think he came home with better manners than we left him! Kevin had good communication with us both in arranging the care and while we were away. We definitely hope to leave our dog with Kevin in the future.”

“I would definitely book Ana again! She was prompt in communication, flexible with scheduling, and had a clean and great space to board my pup for 21 days. This was the longest I've been away from my pup for a while and she sent photos and videos every few days along with an update which I was so grateful for. There were no emergencies or incidents while we were out which just shows how much Ana took care to read the instructions and take the best care of Coral. You should absolutely book Ana!”

“Sydney was a wonderful pet sitter! She was very attentive to each of the cats’ needs, took notes, and was very considerate anytime we had to change plans. Sydney gave us very nice updates every day on how the cats were doing, and included adorable photos. Will rebook her in the future!”

“I am so glad I booked with Kelly! I wanted to keep my cat at home while I went on vacation because of his age, and she did a great job of checking in on him and keeping me updated while I was away. I would definitely book again in the future.”

About: I didn’t start out as a “cat person,” but when my daughter asked for a cat in 2008, everything changed. Seventeen years later, I’ve shared my home with four beloved family cats, cared for two foster litters, and volunteered for five years at a no-kill shelter in New Jersey. At the shelter, I gained hands-on experience with socializing cats, giving oral medication, and tending to their daily needs. I know how important the little things are (like a fresh, clean litter box) because they make life so much better for cats. I take pride in providing that kind of thoughtful, consistent care. My daughter is grown (and has two cats of her own!), and my leash-trained tabby, Lavender, and I moved to Bellefonte in the spring of 2025. Fun fact: In 2024, I set a goal to pet 100 different cats, and I surpassed it!

“I’ve had a few people from Rover in the past and none have been remotely as good as Virginia!! She’s so kind and patient with my devil cat and she always goes absolutely above and beyond for him!!!”

I have a yard where weekend boarded dogs can get plenty of exercise and play time, additionally I can guarantee that the pets I care for get a lot of personalized attention and love.

“Crystal was so sweet and kind! She sent many photos and videos of our cat and even offered to go above and beyond our expectations. Overall, she was a great sitter and this was honestly the best experience we’ve ever had on Rover. Highly recommend!!!”

About: Throughout my life, I’ve taken care of 4 cats, 2 dogs, three guinea pigs & a ball python. I am comfortable with any species and breed! I’ve held great responsibility to walk, feed, groom and play with my own & others fur babies. I’m up for any task.. big or small. I’ll be there for your pets needs. Currently I hold a full-time job as a support manager. I don’t have a consistent schedule, but I’ve been able to walk/feed pets before and after work. I mostly do mornings and mid shifts. With that being said, I can make it work. Let’s talk! I've never cared for someone elses pet in my own house. I prefer to stay at a clients home, so the animal(s) is comfortable and the necessities needed to perform my duties for said pet are easily accessible.
“As a first-time Rover user, I was a bit nervous leaving my three cats, but Carla was amazing! She has such an awesome personality and immediately made me (and my cats!) feel at ease. She took the time to make sure each of them felt comfortable around her, and I could tell they were in great hands. She kept me updated with messages and photos every day, which really put my mind at ease. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience highly recommend Carla!”

About: With 20 years of dog sitting experience, I have a lifelong passion for caring for dogs of all ages. I started dog sitting when I was 14 and have since provided overnight and drop-in services. Having grown up with dogs, I've helped train four puppies and nannied for a family with a senior dog for four years. My experience includes administering medication and catering to the unique needs of both puppies and senior dogs and everything in between. I am dedicated to offering reliable, compassionate, and professional care for your furry friends. I have 2 boys under the age of 5 so we have a louder, high energy house! I work remotely part-time, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility each day to provide dedicated care, attention, and companionship for your furry friend. When caring for pets, I prioritize safety and well-being. Dogs are always taken out on a leash to ensure their safety. I assume all dogs are not friendly unless told otherwise, ensuring a cautious and respectful approach to each new dog. I am knowledgeable about foods that are toxic to dogs and take great care to prevent them from consuming anything harmful. I believe strongly in positive reinforcement, rewarding good behavior rather than punishing the bad, to foster a trusting and happy relationship with the dogs I care for.
“Melanie and Doran couldn’t have been more perfect!! They were so kind and made my dog feel right at home. They were super attentive and gave lots of updates and pictures which made my day! I am so grateful for this help! My pup is pretty anxious and he settled right in!”

About: Hi! I’m a college student at Penn state university with 4–5 years of experience caring for pets. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, bathe, walk, and love their animals like my own. I’m responsible, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with all kinds of pets. Thank you for considering me to care for your amazing companion! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially while I’m home for the summer and have a more open schedule. I plan my days around my availability (11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays) and make sure I have enough time to give each pet the attention, care, and playtime they need. I know that trust takes time, especially with animals, and I’m always patient, gentle, and respectful of their boundaries. My goal is to make each pet feel safe, seen, and cared for while their family is away.

I ensure your dog is never bored with plenty of play time and attention. I am happy to take your pet to a nearby dog park as well, if that is something you are comfortable with.

About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, at least 8 over the years, plus 9 puppies we rehomed to better lives. My mom and I were always the type to stop for any dog that needed help, so caring for them just became second nature to me. I was always the go-to in my family when it came to looking after them, no matter how many we had at once. Your dog will be in hands that genuinely love them. I have a flexible schedule so I'm available pretty much anytime. If you're able to book it, I'm always there and ready. I care for pets in my home and treat them like my own. I make sure they're comfortable, well fed, and never left feeling alone. I offer walks, boarding, and daycare.

About: Ever since we adopted my dog in 2019, I have been obsessed with caring for animals. I have taken my dog on at least 100 walks in his lifetime so far, and I don’t plan to stop anytime soon! Additionally, I have been requested by multiple neighbors and friends to dog sit and cat sit for them. I have been dog sitting and catsitting for the same people for about 4 years now, so I would say I have a lot of experience!! I currently work part time at Kohls, so my schedule is a little all over the place. However, I am willing to set a strict availability in order to balance both jobs. Ideally, I can work during the week, but if weekends are needed, I can make some changes. I am very much a rule follower when it comes to watching pets in a clients home. I try to stay by the animals as much as possible to make sure they aren’t getting up to anything, while also staying in the common areas to respect my clients home. I love playing with the animals and giving tons of pets, so don’t worry about your pets being bored!
“Tracy took such good care of our dog on his walk. She was very responsive and sent lots of pictures. She was very attentive to our dog’s needs. Will definitely be using her again”

However, I am remote Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and have a lunch break from 1-2pm. I can let your pup(s) out morning, afternoon, early evening, and night, along with more times if needed! I don’t have a fence in my yard but I have long leashes attached to my deck posts. Please provide me with more information about your pup and circumstances if you are looking to board!
About: I have helped take care of my families pets since I was 17. We always had cats and at least one dog. I am currently a PAWS cat/ kitten foster, and also have a cat of my own. I am currently working full time but am passionate about animals and helping others. I am available for check-ins during the day, over nights throughout the week and weekend. I have my own cat her name is Harmony. I ensure that she always has food, water and fresh litter. I have experience working with animals in all shapes, sizes and disabilities. From these experiences, I have the ability and desire to take care of your pet and will do so with love and care. I’m a current college student home for the summer and holiday breaks and work part time at a local restaurant. This gives me ample amount of time to care for your little ones. I treat pets as members of the family.I personalize care according to the pets personality and the owners wishes, with safety as a top priority. I find out as much as I can about the pet beforehand so that I can foster a good connection from the start.
About: My mom is a zoologist, so I was raised learning how to treat all animals with the best care. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special food conditions. I know that our pets our just as much part of the family as humans, and I promise to provide them with the best and most loving care as if they were my own. I am currently a full-time college student with an internship that typically keeps me busy in the afternoons. However, my schedule is flexible with mornings and evenings typically being more open. From experience with my own pets, I find that dogs and cats miss their owners just as much as their owners miss them when they’re away, if not more. That being said, after completing any responsibilities the family has asked of me, I always take some extra time to hang out with the pets to make sure they feel loved while missing their family. I also find that the families appreciate picture and text updates of how their pets are doing while they’re gone. I always make sure to do that so the owners can trust their pets are in good hands.
About: I grew up with 2 dogs and now I have a 1 year old chocolate lab puppy who just graduated from training. About: I've had 2 dogs, and I had a wonderful list of clients in Vermont. They were friends or became friends. Your dog is my love. I am retired. My daily schedule is fairly flexible right now except for a morning class at the Y. This is my only part-time job. I follow all of your expectations, and I will spend a lot of time cuddling and playing. I also talk a lot to your pets!

About: I’ve always been a dog family, growing up with always 2 dogs or more in my family households. When I was 20, I adopted my soul dog Dusty, who was extremely dog reactive. He showed me a lot of how to deal with reactive dogs, especially on walks and dealing with strangers who may not get that their dog may be friendly, but yours may need that extra space to be comfortable. I now also own two cats, adopted from the local shelter Paws and they have become my life. They are very clingy but also shy towards strangers. So I also very understand if you own some shy cats, I would love them just the same! I currently live all year in State College, work full time but still have plenty of time for my cats and still have more time for others. Just let me know 24 hours ahead or more and it can happen! I am fully comfortable crating all kinds of dogs, walking any breed, or dealing with any shy temperamental cat. I really love animals with all my heart, and you have my word when you’re not home- you don’t need to worry about your furry loved one back home.

I have volunteered at Centre County PAWS since April 2018, in September 2019 I was offered a job & was the first minor to be employed with PAWS! I recently started fostering cats & kittens. My first foster was a lovely kitten who had recently had her leg amputated. I am very experienced in giving all types of meds (pill, eye, ear, wound care, & more). And I of course have 3 fur-babies of my own (Nora, Emmitt, & Ellie), a 40 gal fist tank with 10 fish, as well as a 10 gallon fish tank with 2 aquatic frogs. I also have some experience in caring for reptiles! I am currently working at Centre County PAWS as a Kennel assistant, I always work on Mondays & Tuesdays from 4-7. But am currently working a flexible mid-day shift every day. I am available for your pets almost anytime, any day! Due to my fur-babies, 2 fish tanks, & fosters, I currently will not be offering care in my home. When I care for your animals, I will listen to you and your pets wants & needs. I understand that every pet owner cares for their pets differently & will respect the way you do so!

“Left my cat with alone for the first time with this awesome pet sitter. So personable and communicates awesome and with cute pictures:) will only book with her moving forward due to such success!!”
About: What sets me apart is my ability to tailor my care to the specific needs of each pet. Whether it's training a new puppy with positive reinforcement techniques or providing specialized care for senior pets, I focus on understanding and addressing their individual requirements. My approach includes regular communication with pet owners to ensure their preferences and routines are followed, making the experience as comfortable and seamless as possible for both pets and their families. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. I start by ensuring pets are fed, exercised, and given any necessary medications. Throughout the day, I maintain their environment and address any needs that arise. My routine also includes regular updates to pet owners, providing them with peace of mind and ensuring continuity of care. Each week, I review and adjust routines to accommodate any changes in the pet’s health or behavior. In my home, I ensure a pet-friendly environment with secure areas, clean spaces, and safety measures like pet-proofing and monitoring. I also follow a consistent routine to maintain stability and comfort for pets. In a client’s home, I prioritize safety by following their specific instructions and maintaining their pet’s usual environment and routines. I ensure that all doors and gates are securely closed, and I keep the home clean and hazard-free. Regular updates and open communication with the pet owners are key to ensuring their pet’s well-being and their own peace of mind.
