About: Hi there! You can call me Steph 🤗 Growing up, family friends and school teachers would often ask me to pet/house sit their fur babies as they knew how much I care about the well-being of all animals. I understand that a lot of pets do not easily trust others, for me this is important in being able to give an animal their space and respecting their boundaries. I make sure to take my time with getting to know each pet I care for. I also have experience caring for birds and rodents 🤗 I am currently working from home part time and am available to provide frequent potty breaks and frequent play. I have my own dog who i take to a nearby park twice a day in addition to several short breaks throughout the day. I have plenty of apartment space for play and have my own dog to keep your baby company while they are visiting. I also let animals on my furniture so they can really feel at home and comfortable.

“Cecelia did a great job with my 2 very shy anxious foster girls. I know they appreciated the exercise and I appreciated the extra socialization. And my big baby Charlie was so happy to come along for the walk too!”

“Cave is a great walker. So loving with our dog and very communicative when needed. My husband and I are so glad we found someone that is patient but also knows what is doing, specially with a dog that is anxious when there is other dogs around.”

“Shannon is easy to communicate with and trustworthy. Our dog immediately liked her and Shannon was great with her and her quirks. Will book with her again!”

“Aly has done an amazing job with my dogs, especially considering my boy can be a bit prickly with new people. I will continue to use Aly’s services and am grateful to have found her!”

“Angela is wonderful! She keeps things fun by bringing our dog to different parks, and she’s super communicative so we always know how things went. Our dog has a thick coat, so Angela always makes sure to stay in the shade or near water on hot days which makes the walks much more enjoyable for our dog!”

“Today was our first walk with Sebastian, and everything went well. Sebastian is professional, courteous, and reliable. My dog is thrilled to have a new friend.”

About: I’ve raised my own dog, Sunday, since he was a puppy — from crate training and leash manners to passing the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. I also cook fresh meals for him and take him on regular hikes and adventures. Over the years, I’ve cared for friends’ dogs of many breeds and personalities, including Aussies, Border Collies, Whippets, and Pugs — from high-energy working dogs to easygoing lap dogs. I’ve developed a calm, structured approach that adapts to each dog’s needs, whether it’s reinforcing good habits or just offering a quiet, comforting environment. I work from home full-time (except Fridays), so I’m around throughout the day to give your pup attention, walks, and potty breaks. I take regular breaks throughout the day, which I use for walks, playtime, or some fresh air at the nearby trails or grass field. Whether your dog is active or prefers naps and snuggles, I can match their pace and needs. I live in a spacious, pet-friendly apartment with easy access to a trail, a private grass field, and dog-friendly University Village — great for structured socialization and exposure. My home is kept clean, calm, and free of hazards. I only host one dog at a time (max two on rare occasions), so your dog will receive focused, personalized care. I’m happy to share regular updates, photos, and notes about how your pup is doing while you’re away.

About: I’ve cared for pets of all ages, from puppies who need patient training to older pets who need extra gentleness and special care. I’m experienced with giving medications, handling special diets, and reading body language to know when a pet needs comfort, space, or play. I treat each animal like they’re my own, and I take pride in being reliable, communicative, and genuinely excited to see them every time. I’m currently working part-time and would love to spend my free time with your pets! I’m available all day Mondays and Tuesdays, as well as anytime before 2pm any other day of the week. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I prioritize keeping their routine as close to normal as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I provide fresh water, meals, plenty of potty breaks, and lots of attention. I’m detail-oriented about feeding schedules, medications, and exercise needs, and I keep your home tidy and safe during my stay. I treat every pet like my own: snuggles, playtime, and all.

About: I have a number of recurring clients with whom I stay overnight to provide care for their pups, often for several days at a time. It’s a responsibility I take seriously, and I truly enjoy building lasting relationships with both the pets and their families. I adjust my schedule to align with your dog’s routine, including their usual potty breaks. My goal is to maintain their normal rhythm and comfort while you're away, so they feel safe and at ease. While I am a student and do have other responsibilities, caring for dogs is something I truly enjoy. I genuinely enjoy spending quiet, cozy evenings with the pups—whether it’s watching a movie or settling in for a study session on the couch. I’m also completely comfortable sharing a bed with them if that’s part of their routine. It not only brings comfort to both of us, but also helps strengthen the bond we build during our time together.

About: As a fellow pet owner, I have firsthand understanding of the anxiety that can come with leaving your fur baby behind. If you choose to work with me, you can rest assured your pet will be in loving and responsible hands. I have been taking care of dogs and cats my whole life! I grew up with terriers and corgis, and currently have a 2 year old Maine Coon cat of my own. Apart from taking care of my own animals, I have 13 years of experience dog and cat sitting for neighbors, friends and family members. I know how to train dogs & cats, and have even trained my cat to sit and shake :) I always have my phone on me and respond quick to texts and calls. I love sending pet parents photos of their animal throughout the day, only if that’s something you would enjoy. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies! Whether it’s a drop in visit or overnight care, I am flexible to you and your pet’s needs. I would love to create a five star experience for you, by keeping the house clean throughout my stay and cleaning before I leave. I also accommodate special requests such as watering plants, moving trash & recycle, gathering mail, administering medication to your pet, etc. Thank you for your consideration, I hope you have a lovely day!

“we really enjoyed meeting Grace yesterday, she was very confident and calm, and our dogs took to her immediately. I appreciated her communication and our first drop in walk went well. Looking forward to using her dog care services more in the near future.”

About: I have years of experience in caring for many different dogs (and all kinds of other animals). I have trained several dogs in obedience and one in agility. I believe that dogs will respond best to positive reinforcement. Though I have never had a dog of my of my own, I have always enjoyed spending time with them and "paws"-itively love meeting new furry friends! Im a full time grad student so I only work part time right now-which mean I have more time to spend with your sweet pup! Unfortunately my living situation does not allow for me to host dogs here but I promise to treat your home with the respect I give my own space. Looking forward to meeting you and getting to know your “furr”-iend! I work the closing shift so I’m there for some good morning snuggles, breakfast, and a walk before I head to work and dinner and a sunset walk when I get home. Unfortunately it does mean that I normally miss the afternoon zoomie time to play and get some energy out. I do my best to respect and love your dog in the way you do. I encourage them toward a positive relational experience with me while they are awaiting your return. **My partner works in Portland but comes up to see me on Thursday and Friday. If I’m housesitting during that time he may spend that night at your house with me. If you would prefer he not be there please let me know in advance!

“Edward is a kind, responsible, and attentive pet caregiver. He took amazing care of my toy Australian Shepherd, Audrey, during our extended trips. We fully trusted him as if he were family. Audrey always came back happy and well cared for—and she absolutely loves playing with Edward’s Aussie, Sunday! They’ve become the best of friends. I can’t recommend Edward enough.”

Melinda P.
“Mindee has watched my cats and dogs for many years. She takes extra time when approaching them for the first time to make sure they are comfortable with her. She is gentle and many times will just sit on the floor and wait for them to come to her. She is compassionate with our animals and will spend time getting to know their charartistics and things they like and them uses them the next time. Mindee is available to come on short notice if needed and will always respond to my requests. I would feel comfortable having Mindee watch any size animal for any length of time. Mindee understands how precious our furry friends are and takes great care with them.”
