Valerie has been a fantastic dog walker for my pug, Steve. Communication has been super easy, she always leaves great notes (feedback and pictures) and brings lots of positive energy. Steve has been a very happy boy to have another friend to play with. Very highly recommended!

About: In a fast paced environment it is easy to overlook our place in the world as animals. Being in close contact with other beings can create connectedness and a sense of place in nature. Simple tasks like dog walking may seem beneath most people, but I see it as an act graciousness and a chance to connect to other beings. As a walker or sitter my goal is to consciously occupy space with your pet. This, for me, means accommodating and changing as situations seem fit. I would also like to stay conscious of any owners wishes and feelings regarding the service I may provide and remember that it is only a service if it works to make their and their pets experience more comfortable.

About: I’ve been surrounded by and taking care of dogs since I was young. I have experience with all ages, giving medications and with handling reactive dogs. I am currently working full time (4-5 days) as a server/bartender. My shifts are short(4-5hrs) and usually in the late morning or early evening so I always have part of my day to dedicate to your pet. I do not offer boarding services but I am more than happy to visit your pet and make sure they are comfortable, fed and walked if needed. I enjoy interacting with animals and assessing their body language to meet their needs.

Hi highly recommend Greg! I was fortunate enough to not only book him last minute so my pup could get in a walk, but also able to do so on New Years Eve. My pup was obviously quite fond of him because he didn't want to stop playing with Greg once he brought him back home from the walk, and he continued to bring over one toy after the next to show him. I look forward to booking him again in the near future.

About: I have had dogs since I was born. I have experience dealing with training puppies as well as dealing with senior dogs. I will follow your instructions for care to the T because I know how important it is for dogs to have stable training and schedules. I will take your dog to the park, out on a walk, on a run, or with me around town. In my mind dogs are part of the family and I will treat them as one of my own for as long as I have the privilege to take care of them. I have two rescues, both fixed that get along great with other dogs. I foster for several rescues so i know how to deal with different temperaments of dogs. Your dog will receive the same care as mine and all the same walks/runs/play time. I work from home so I am able to take your dog outside, for walks, and ensure they are getting the exercise they need to thrive. I have a fenced in yard, gated front porch, and a gate on the stairs. The dogs will have full access to the basement (dog proofed) and first floor. Access to the top floor will be for bedtime (if the routine is the dog sleeps in the bed). We also have a playpen and crates here at the house.

I have a large yard with a well kept fence and multiple rooms in case your dog needs their own space. Well be outside most of the time. About: Hi there! I’m Rhiannon — a lifelong animal lover and former professional dog groomer of 5 years. I’ve spent years caring for pups of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I truly understand how much trust it takes to leave your fur baby in someone else’s hands. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or keeping up with your dog’s routine, I treat every pet like my own. Reliable, calm, and attentive — your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. I currently work part-time remotely, which gives me the perfect balance to dedicate plenty of focused time to pet care. My flexible schedule allows me to plan my remote work around walks, feedings, and playtime — so your pet always gets consistent attention and care. Whether it’s morning, mid-day, or evening visits, I’m able to adjust my hours to fit your pet’s needs and routine. When I care for pets in their own home, my top priority is keeping them comfortable, safe, and stress-free in their familiar space. I follow your routine closely — feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special instructions — so your pet feels secure and cared for just like you’re there. I always treat your home with the same respect I’d want for mine: tidy, mindful, and trustworthy. I send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy and in good hands. With 5 years of experience as a professional dog groomer, I’m confident reading animal behavior and providing calm, reliable care no matter the breed or personality.

About: Hi! I'm David. I grew up in Michigan surrounded by dogs and farm animals. Labrador Retrievers were the family favorite, however, I rescued a Basset Hound Mix during the pandemic. One of my college jobs was working at a doggy daycare center. I was quickly promoted to manager and ended up rolling out a marketing plan for the business. It was a blast! I live in Metro Detroit (Oak Park) and am currently "funemployed" which means I have all the time in the world to take care of your furry companions! I take pride in my ability to be patient, gentle, responsible, and fun with all kinds of dogs, sizes, and ages. I have vast and diverse experience taking care of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, horses, and birds. During college, I volunteered at various humane societies and frequently dog sat for friends and relatives. I was also instrumental in co-training a Golden Retriever to be a service dog. That was a highly rewarding experience. My approach to dog care is to start with the owner and get to know the dog through their eyes. I then channel that love and devotion to esteemed care, ensuring that walks are done frequently, food is out at a responsible time, and that enough attention is spent with the dog. I'm an outdoors guy and walk whenever I get the chance, so rest assured that your dog will get a healthy amount of outside time. If you've made it this far and like what you've read, let's schedule a meet-and-greet! I take my pup for walks at least four times a day, and let her roam free in my fenced in backyard. I provide attention and care throughout the day! I'm very respectful not only of my client's pets, but also their homes. I'm very trustworthy and neat/tidy. I've dog sat in many homes both for the day and overnight. I treat other people's property as if it were my own.
