“It’s been a week and just a few days of being with Rachel and her pups Gizmo has transformed. He gets exercise and mental stimulation that is soooo much needed. He’s gotten into a great routine and feels much better. Rachel’s communication has been wonderful and I’m thankful to have found her.”

“Simply the best! Vicki and William love the pups in their care and go the extra mile. They have been so good helping our puppy Hazel socialize, play, and grow into a happy teenage dog for the past year. She is always so excited to go to daycare and is a very happy, tired dog after.”

“Cody has a way with dogs, and it’s clear ours enjoyed being with him and was well cared for while there. We booked a few days before the stay and he was extremely accommodating! We will use him again!”

“Yvette took very good care of our little Lena, it was her first day them but she had so much fun and played very much with Draper. Definitely recommend her and coming back!”

About: Hello! My pet experience consists of having my own doggy for the past 20 years. I rescued my older dog and then got a new puppy. My old Rose passed away but I had to give her eye medication and oral medication everyday so I am comfortable with that. I also grew up with family dogs and cared for those dogs. My availability to watch your dog is very flexible. I work from home a most days a week so it is a high chance that I could work from home while caring for your pup. I am a very caring person. I have a PhD in human development and family science and work in the social work field. I have a giant heart and would love to care for your doggie! As a stay-at-home worker, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent attention, timely feedings, regular potty breaks, and plenty of play and cuddle time. My flexible schedule means I can easily accommodate pets’ needs, whether that’s sticking to a specific routine or being available for spontaneous walks and care. Being home also helps me monitor behavior closely and respond quickly to any changes, making pets feel secure, loved, and well looked after. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment tailored to each animal’s needs. In my home, pets have access to cozy rest areas, regular outdoor time, and plenty of affection and play throughout the day. I maintain a calm, clean space and follow any routines or special instructions provided. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and stick closely to the pet’s established schedule to minimize stress. I provide regular updates, ensure fresh food and water, maintain cleanliness, and give each pet the love and attention they’re used to.
“First day care day with Jess was a success! Jess was super communicative and flexible providing me with feedback and updates throughout the day. Huxley was able to play with a great group of pups and he came home with a great attitude and passed out. Hux will be looking forward to his longer stay over the holidays :)”

“Bentley had a great time hanging out with Murphy and Meredith. We've just moved to the Ferndale area, and he misses his old neighbor friends. Happy he's made a friend with Murphy:)”

I focus on force-free training methods, while still making sure to ensure rules and boundaries in my household. As much as I love training, training is not offered as part of your stay. I currently work from home, and am able to let out frequently. Your pets will be treated like my own while they stay with me. I have a fenced in yard and a playful pup who loves to meet new friends! I am set up for any scenario needed, and have crates for safety and feeding. “Amazing Care for My Fur Baby! I cannot recommend Dalonna enough! She went above and beyond in taking care of my 3-month-old Morkie making sure all of my pup’s needs were met, I felt completely at ease knowing my baby was in such loving hands. Dalonna was professional, communicative, and treated my Morkie like one of her own. I came home to a happy, healthy, and well-cared-for dog. If you're looking for someone reliable and compassionate, Dalonna is the one!”

About: Your home is my base. Professional housesitter, LGBT+ND Friendly. My homebody routine (WFH yogi) mean tons of time with your pet. I'm very tidy, and a good fit for clean nonsmoking homes. Over 200+ nights per year petsitting! Your place is my home, not just short visits. I also enjoy multiple pet households of 2, 3, 4 or more! I am patient with anxiety, special needs, medication, and puppies. I love written instructions, and take medication seriously. My day is typically yoga, meditation, movie nights with your pets, two hours WFH, and walks or yard time. I also offer daytime care in your home via the Housesitting tab (3 hours to 10 hours+) even if you don't need overnight. You can also book Drop Ins of 30 mins to an hour, or multiple hours. I usually send 2ish updates with photos per day, but if you'd like more or less, let me know. I'm mature, sober, nonsmoking; I don't vape or use drugs, not even caffeine. I have decades of experience caring for houses and pets. I WFH a few hours a week as a property manager, so I'm very available for pets who need more attention. Feel free to send a request even if Rover suggests I may be booked, because sometimes it's just for a doggie walk. Note: All of December will be at Rover Holiday rates. After our initial meet and greet, it is standard to do cold swaps vs hot swaps, for your out of town trip. I arrive after you leave, and depart before you return. This usually means smoother transitions for pets and humans. If you need a sit start time before 8am, or end time after 8pm, or drives over 20 minutes, there is an additional charge of $30 each, not included in your estimate. You are very welcome to book additional drop ins or walks before your sit so we can all get to know each other! Your home is my home base, I bring my groceries/book/yoga mat. Playtime, downtime, and sleepytime are spent with your pet. I WFH and love reading, cooking, meditation, movies. My commitments are important to me, and I care about your pets. I am responsible, a great communicator, and will always respond to your messages.
“Mariana and her husband have hosted our dog Shama multiple times now and they are always our first choice because we know Shama is always happy to see them and stay with them. Very flexible and communicate very nicely with us. We highly recommend them.”
About: I would love to take care of your furbaby! I have several years of past experience working at animal hospitals and a year of volunteer experience at the ASPCA animal shelter. I offer boarding with only one pet family booked at a time. I also offer house-sitting and love how it is a great option for some pets who feel most comfortable in their own home. I also make sure to keep your home at least as clean and tidy as I found it. I usually stay overnight for the pet's care needs, but if you are looking for just morning to evening or partial day house-sitting, message me for a custom rate. Whether boarding or house-sitting, I will do my best to adhere to your furbaby's normal routine. I have a knack for relaxing anxious/shy/reactive pets and have quite a lot of experience winning them over. I would be happy to do a meet-n-greet in a large outdoor space for your pup to warm up to me on neutral ground. I've cared for the full spectrum of dog sizes and ages. With older pets, I go slowly and make sure not to startle them if they're sleeping, as they may not see or hear me come in. I like to discuss how I can accommodate any special needs your pet may have. Extra plus if your pet is a cuddler! I look forward to getting to know all of your pets' personality traits and quirks! I LOVE hearing stories about the weird things your pets do that make them unique! :D I work from home and can often accommodate same day requests for walks, drop-ins, and house-sitting. I do my best to follow your pet's normal routine. I like to go slow when meeting new furbabies, especially if you tell me they are shy or anxious. I use a few calming techniques that have shown to be effective. I like a challenge! It's so rewarding watching the transformation of a cat/dog go from showing defensive/protective behavior to them rubbing up on me or giving me kisses. Earning their trust is the best!
About: My husband and I work from home and have very flexible schedules that allow us to be present with our pets during the day. There are no kids in the home during the day during the week. Typical day include walks around the neighborhood or nearby park, lounging or playing in the backyard or the dog park. Plenty of toys for chewers and plenty of space in our fenced yard to roam and play. I currently work from home as a technology sales rep. When I am not working, I’m entertaining both my toddler and pets. I often have a decent amount of free time and dog sitting has been a great outlet for my dog to socialize and get some fun in! For repeat pets, I have noticed a big difference after a few days of adjusting. Its important for pets to feel safe in whatever space they are in.
“Zhane was great with Tobias. He's a handful. Zhane watched him for 4-5 hours and it was on Thanksgiving day. Cold, wet day and Zhane still got Tobias out for long walks. She really does love animals and someone we can all trust to watch our dogs. 5 Stars!”

Ricky and Lindsey were so lovely. They were kind and flexible with my timing and made the entire process so easy. They treated Roxy like their own, giving her hugs and cuddles and incorporating her into their daily routine. Roxy came home smiling and exhausted. I highly recommend Ricky and Lindsey!!
