“Kayla was a fantastic fur baby sitter! My dogs absolutely adored her, they were well cared for, and I was kept in the loop with their daily activities. I absolutely recommend Kayla, and I will be using her services again in the future. She’s kind, communicative, and respectful of my time and space. I could go on and on, but your pets are in kind safe hands with Kayla!”

“Heather did a wonderful job watching our two dogs in my home. The house was left in tip top shape, and Charlie and Ruby seemed to have a great time! They got regular walks and had someone to hangout with while we were away. Heather had great communication and sent lots of pictures.”

“My dog Isla loves when Maciyah comes to stay with her! She takes care to make Isla feel very loved and keeps her very busy. Definitely recommend Maciyah for any of your pet’s needs”

“Nicole was absolutely amazing! I travel quite a bit and find it hard to find someone to fully trust with my boys and she just went above and beyond. She was extremely communicative and listened to all directions. She left my house super clean and I could not recommend her more. If you want to be at ease when you travel then Nicole is the right person to leave with your fur babies.”

“Gary was fantastic! He took great care of our boy and our home was just as we left it. He was also flexible with our travel plans. We will definitely book again”

“Gracie was absolutely amazing with our two pups! We were given updates and pictures all throughout the day and never had to worry about a thing when we were out of town. We have used this service a lot and haven’t had anyone that can hold a candle to how great Gracie was! Will definitely be calling her again in the future!”

“Valerie took wonderful care of our three dogs. She let me know when she gave Domino his heart medication which put my mind at ease. She also took pictures of them once or twice a day and sent them to me. She also took care of my daughter‘s tortoise which decided to be an escape artist, and she had to hunt him down in the neighbors yard. On returning from our vacation, she left the house extremely clean, which was extremely appreciated.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our three boxers received! It was clear Hannah had a genuine love for dogs and plenty of experience handling larger breeds. Our pups can be a handful, but she managed them with patience, confidence, and lots of affection. We received regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave us peace of mind and let us see how much fun they were having. It was obvious our dogs felt safe, happy, and loved the entire time we were away. Coming home to three relaxed and well-cared-for dogs was the best feeling. We highly recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and caring sitter. We’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Kenna did a great job with our energetic puppy! She was communicative, kept the house super clean, and was overall a joy to work with. My dog loved playing with her pup! This was our first time leaving our puppy so it was such a relief not having to worry! I love that she stayed overnight- it made things much easier. She walked the dog everyday and I could tell my dog was so happy (and tired) when we got home!”

“Sylvie did a phenomenal job caring for our anxious, shy/fearful pup last minute! She was able to accommodate 2 meet and greets which made our pup comfortable ahead of her stay. Sylvie asked thoughtful questions about his behavior and care requirements and listened to all of our nervous parent requests. She has a calming demeanor which really helped with our nervous guy. Sylvie had no problems administering medication, was sure to send updates throughout the stay, and was very communicative about everything. We feel so lucky to have found her!”
“Emily did an amazing job watching our dogs!! She stayed at our home while we went out of town and dealt with our 1 year old golden retriever, 6 year old golden retriever, and my parents 16 year old mix breed. She took amazing care of all 3 dogs even though they didn’t make it easy on her at times. She kept our house clean as well which was a huge bonus. Emily kept us updated throughout our trip with updates and lots of cute photos. We truly appreciate her caring for our fur babies and can’t wait to use her again in the future. It’s so important to find someone you trust who cares about your pets as much as you do, Emily is definitely that person. You won’t regret hiring her to watch your pets!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Mayra was absolutely amazing with our two Siberian Huskies during the 7 days we were away. She was incredibly attentive, and the pre-visit walk she arranged helped calm our nerves about leaving the pups. Every day, she sent us pictures—sometimes multiple times a day—so we always knew they were happy and well cared for. She even sent us a fun video of them howling, which was such a sweet touch! It was clear our dogs enjoyed her company, and we came home to two very content pups. We would absolutely have her watch them again in the future!”

“Tess is great! My two dogs clearly were loved by the look from all the pictures she sent me. The house is as clean as I left it and she communicated the whole time I was gone. I will definitely be booking with her again.”

About: Hi! I specialize in puppy care, separation anxiety, and brachycephalic breeds. Having a Bulldog of my own has taught me firsthand how to handle the unique needs of smushy-faced dogs — from monitoring breathing to keeping them cool and comfortable. For anxious or velcro dogs, I provide a calm, attentive environment with plenty of reassurance. Puppies get the extra patience, structure, and supervision they need to feel right at home. 🐾 I work remotely full-time, which allows me to be home throughout the day. I do have occasional meetings during the week, but they are typically under 1.5 hours and scheduled in advance. Your dog will not be left alone for long stretches of time. I can accommodate morning, mid-day, and evening walks and potty breaks. I’m happy to communicate my schedule ahead of time so you feel fully comfortable. I am fully attentive to the animals. I can provide multiple water/feeding bowls, cooling mats, toys, can give dogs medicine, and lots of love! I guarantee I will respect all boundaries and follow all your directions.
About: Hello! Dog lover here who’s grown up with every kind of dog you can image ranging from Great Danes to bulldogs and definitely have a love for animals. I also have raised my own dog over the past 4 years and am dedicated to making sure your pup is safe as well. I currently am a social worker working school hours so I will have plenty of time to get out the house and spend some time with your dog. Have always been an animal lover and would love to help reduce stress in your household by helping out with your pet. I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly corgi/poodle that loves other dogs. While at your house I am 100% willing to follow any safety/rules you may have.
About: I have had a passion for pet care since the age of eleven when I created a pet walking and boarding business within my neighborhood. This business gave me access to assist more pet care opportunities and cultivated a deep compassion for the well-being of the animals in my care. Since then, I have pet sat and walked over 50 dogs and 10 cats, many who are returning clients. I have had the privilege to care for a wide range of small and large breeds of dogs, puppies, kittens, and senior pets. I can confidently assist with pets who have medical conditions and am excited to learn how to best serve your pet and you. Some of the services I have provided to other clients include: walks, engaged play, long term care, specified preparation of food, administering oral and topical medications, transportation, vet trips, grooming, and bathing. I am more than happy to adjust my skills in whatever way will maintain your pet's happiness and your peace of mind. As an anxious pet parent, I enjoy sending updates, pictures, and videos to mitigate any worries you may have while away from your pet. I have a hybrid work schedule and will work with your schedule to prioritize your pet and their unique needs. I greatly appreciate notice with changes to walks/visits but work well with adjustments. I have limited availability for boarding at my home currently. For animals that do come to my house, I spend time beforehand pet proofing to ensure a safe stay. In your home, I do ask instructions are left on how to maintain your space to your preference so there are no disturbances when you return. I can work with whatever parameters you have, especially in regards to entering/exiting the home and shared spaces. Walking safety is important to me and I won't leave the house without a collar and appropriate leash, poop bags, and water if necessary. When it comes to letting pets out in fenced yards, I keep an eye on them to ensure they don't eat anything they shouldn't and that their environment remains safe. Unless specified, your pets will not interact with other animals to keep reactivity levels low and to lessen any stress.
University District pet parents share their Rover experiences
Gary has watched my dog Koda a few times now. He always does a great job- keeping me informed of what is happening and even adjusting his schedule to align with my mine. On one of my trips I was forced stay an extra day outside the US due to airline issues. Gary accommodated this unplanned emergency and made everything go smoothly. Personally, I think Koda believes he is the one on vacation when Gary watches him.
Diane was a fantastic sitter! She was amazing and easy to work with throughout the process. She stayed in my home while I traveled and my deeply anxious rescue dog and my cats never missed me. Diane kept me informed while I was away, followed all my instructions, and my pets were safe and happy in my absence. I look forward to hiring her again. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her or rebook her. She’s truly a thoughtful and special person who will care for your pets so you can relax while you’re away.

Elizabeth is hands down the best dog sitter we have ever used. I was able to go away for a weekend on short notice and know without a doubt my 2 dogs were in the best hands. She sent me lots of updates and plenty of cute pictures while I was away. She asked all the right questions if anything came up. I also came back to a clean house which was a huge plus. She was able to handle our crazy 1.5 year old golden and keep our 6 year old golden very happy. You could genuinely tell they enjoyed their time with her just from the photos. Would definitely use Elizabeth again and can’t thank her enough!! If you are looking for a well qualified dog sitter who truly cares about your pet as if they are her own, look no further.
