“Maciyah was super accommodating and helpful when I had to book her last minute. And Duke seemed to really enjoy his stay. She sent tons of pictures and got him lots of walks. I highly recommend boarding with Maciyah.”

“Nicole cared for our 2, high maintenance Great Danes for a week in our home. She was fabulous. Our younger Dane has separation anxiety when we leave. Nicole was able to conquer his anxiety and gain his trust quickly. He was going outside ,eating and playing with toys. The older Dane was receiving his own attention and playtime. We came home to happy dogs, clean house and delicious cookies. I’m already booking with her again. She’s a gem!”

“Kristina was fantastic, my dog felt instantly comfortable with her and had a great time hanging out. Kristina is punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend and would book again.”

“Randi is very sweet with our dogs. They are also tired out after the weekends she watches them. One of our dogs is highly anxious but he does great with her!”

“Mary did a fantastic job with our 1yr old cattle dog and 11yr old cat. She stayed at our house for five days and checked in frequently. She took great care of them, and also went above and beyond. She cleaned the sheets, tidied the house, made us dinner and dessert to come back to, and even bought flowers. We will definitely be going to her first for dog/cat sitting for any upcoming trips.”

About: My family always had cats and dogs while I was growing up and I’ve also lived with animals on and off throughout my adult life. I wanted to use the down time that I have to care for local animals. I love both cats and dogs! Aside from some freelance work I’m doing on the side, I have ample availability to help care for animals while I’m in the job market for a new full time role. Currently only able to house sit in clients homes as well as drop ins and dog walking if nearby where I’m currently staying in Detroit.
“Erin was amazing!! She took great care of my dog and cat, my house, and is a very kind person. She sent daily updates and I was never worried about my “kids” while I was away. I highly recommend her and will definitely entrust her again in the future.”

About: I’ve had dogs throughout my life. Small, medium, and large sized dogs, young and elderly dogs, dogs with low energy levels and dogs with high energy levels. I used to pet sit for my neighbors as well, including one neighbor who had two mastiffs and a dalmatian, and another neighbor with a chronically ill dog prone to accidents. I loved them all! I work full time, but I primarily work nights, so I’m available while most people are at work. I also love to go on walks during my free time, so I’d love to walk to visit your pet, or take them along with me. We have a specific room with toys, a bed, and plenty of attention from me that’s designed for your pet to have a great stay. We have a water fountain for cats, and a large water dish for dogs, and plenty of treats and love to provide.
About: As a dedicated dog sitter, I provide personalized care with daily updates, tailored activities, and a nurturing environment, ensuring your furry friend feels loved and safe while you're away. With 15 years of experience of dog sitting, I pride myself on delivering the best pet care possible. I have watched many different types of dogs including great Danes, Dachshunds, and American bulldogs. I am always a reliable resource for family, friends, and coworkers when they need someone to take care of their pets. I have strong organizational and time management skills which helps me to reach my professional and personal goals. I am also a lover of dogs and have an 8-year-old American Bulldog who I love and adore. Additionally, I watch my best friend's dogs (2 Great Danes) monthly for them while they work. I currently have a full-time remote job, but it provides me flexibility with my schedule. I am open to schedule changes and especially working weeknights and weekends. Additionally, if the home is within proximity, I can come walk your dog on lunch too. I am more than happy to accommodate. Safety is always first when it comes to pet sitting for me. First, I will be sure the environment and surroundings are clear of dangerous items and materials that are harmful for pet consumption. I always make sure counters are clear of these things and that they cannot get into anything that could hurt them. Additionally, I always keep a watchful eye on the pets to be sure they are not damaging any property as well. In my own home, I always make sure the house is tidy and clear. If allowable, I will be sure to put the pet in his/her cage, will follow the provided feeding schedule, and will always sit with them while they are outside. I will be sure to keep the pets away from other pets while walking them and to focus on their enjoyment. I go on long, personal walks daily, so I will be sure to follow the dog's typical routine and distance.
“Katie is super reliable, honest and respectful of my home, plus she's great with my dogs. There's a reason we've booked her several times and will continue to moving forward. Thanks, Katie!”

“Heather did a wonderful job watching our two dogs in my home. The house was left in tip top shape, and Charlie and Ruby seemed to have a great time! They got regular walks and had someone to hangout with while we were away. Heather had great communication and sent lots of pictures.”

“Zaria was such a gift! She went above and beyond caring for our three cats—two of whom are on medication—with so much love and attentiveness. The house was spotless when we got home, and the cats were relaxed, happy, and somehow getting along even better than before we left. She’s kind, reliable, and just a joy to work with. We honestly can’t recommend her enough!”

“Allie was so great with our 4 year old pittie mix! She took incredible care of both our pup and our home while we were gone and updated us throughout our trip. We will definitely be using Allie again and highly recommend her!”

“Breanna did a great job with our pets and while staying in our home. She was communicative and shared regular updates. We were on a trip with a major time difference and she was very understanding and patient with the communication delays.”

About: I am new to Rover, but not new to pet care! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have become a frequent sitter for animals in my social circle. I've cared for pets across a range of sizes, breeds, temperaments and ages. I used to work as a volunteer and foster through Michigan Humane, and have experience with lots of different pets and situations. I currently live with a 2-year-old Lab mix and a 14-year-old Shiba Inu. Please reach out if there is anything in particular you want to discuss in advance! I am available for walks and drop-ins on most days between 8am - 4pm. My calendar reflects my availability during that timeframe. I can accommodate most sitting requests if your pet can be left alone for brief periods. (If you are looking for evening care on a day marked unavailable, please feel free to get in touch, as I am often available after 5pm on those days, but the app doesn’t allow the calendar to reflect this). When your pet is in my care I treat them like they are my own. I love getting to know their quirks and if you have any specific routines for them that I can help maintain while you’re away!
About: I have owned pets ever since I can remember, from a little Puddle, to a Rottweiler, to a Maine Coon cat to a hermit crab. I also have experience handling and controlling aggressive behavior safely and properly. I love taking funny pics of them too lol I’m currently the owner of the sweetest kitten, so it is already a part of my daily routine to care for and love my furry friend. I am very gentle, loving, patient, cautious and kind. I can carefully but easily follow specific instructions for special medical procedures if that’s ever needed.
