“Maciyah was so great with my dogs and they were instantly comfortable with her during our meet and greet. I also hot tons of pictures during her stay and came home to a super happy dog, I highly recommend!”

“Charlotte was absolutely wonderful with my dogs, Mabel and Marty. She stayed at my home for 10 days while I was away, and I could immediately tell when I got back that they had been so well cared for. They were calm, happy, and clearly engaged while I was gone — which says everything. Charlotte is incredibly sweet and attentive, and she went above and beyond in every way. She kept my house completely spotless, left the kindest note, and even had calming music and a dog channel playing on the TV when I arrived home so the dogs were comfortable and relaxed. It was such a thoughtful touch after a long trip. I felt totally at ease knowing my dogs and my home were in such great hands. I would 100% trust Charlotte again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone truly caring and responsible.”

“Mary is incredible. Our puppy took to Mary Kay instantly. She has a warmth and kindness that makes people and pets love her. If you need a dog sitter, I couldn’t recommend Mary Kay more. She looked after our puppy as we got married and Mary Kay went the extra mile with everything! Best experience I could have asked for and more.”

About: It started with a cat and two fish as family pets when I was little, and my love of all creatures has expanded to include even rodents and reptiles. I have fostered many dogs, raised and trained puppies & kittens from 5 weeks old, worked patiently with fearful/anxious dogs to gain their trust, nursed dogs and cats through health crises and the struggles of old age and failing health. I am certified in cat & dog first aid by the Humane Society of America. I’m new to the area and currently establishing my routine, which allows me to offer flexible availability. I am available for sitting in your home any day of the week, including holidays. I’m detail-oriented, patient, and take responsibility seriously. I follow instructions closely and treat your home and pets with the same care and respect as my own. My goal is always to keep your pets happy and your space well cared for.

About: Hello! I’m Maranda and I love animals, like most people. I am open to all animals! Any pet in my home will be treated as my own, following guidelines set by you of course. I have most of my experience fromworking in Dog Day Care centers, as well as ten years on and off overnight dog and cat sitting for friends and family, so I am well versed in dog behaviors and body language. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby or babies! My three year old and I are always home except for quick runs to breakfast or the store. I’m rarely gone from the house for more than 2 hours. I ask that drop off/pick up times be between the times of 7am- 9pm. I am also available for transportation! I have dog seatbelt leashes as well and I can pick up starting at 9am and will end at 9pm, outside of emergencies. Thank you for understanding ☺️ A somewhat fenced yard, a chain link fence that is weak at the poles (working on updating) but! dogs would be leashed at all times regardless. I have a large three year old who is the only child in the house that is never left unattended around animals. The comfort of the dogs are most important. If your fur baby has any resource guarding, fear aggression, or herding behavior I ask that we do a meet and greet to make sure everyone is comfortable. My house is baby proofed, although maybe in a state of organized chaos thanks to said toddler, so animals will be safe as well. I have three cats, but when dogs are in the house they hang out in my basement, as that is their home base. The pups in my care have access to the entire first floor of my house, and can come upstairs with me with supervision if I do not have any cat guests lounging upstairs (: I have two crates, one is 36 inches and the other is 42 and they are equipped with beds and an optional crate cover if that is what the pup is used to. If drop off or pick up is needed of me, I have seat belt leashes for car safety. During drop in visits, each family and pet have their own groove so please forgive me if i ask so many questions! I want to maintain familiar routines and behaviors with your fur babies so they can be as comfortable as possible. For drop in visits, please tell explain where the food is kept and where the food bowls/litter boxes are. Some dogs have triggers that put them in an arousal/overstimulated state, (Hats, hoods, boots? big jackets, certain pitches, how a stranger enters the house etc) please tell me if your dog has any of these! I have worked with many rescue/shelter dogs, I can accommodate for your babies. Please give a heads up for any exciting things your dog likes on walks! How do they walk, do they chase? Etc.
About: Hi, we're both animal lovers who grew up with great pups! Theresa grew up with golden retrievers (Magellan and Rowan) and A.K. grew up with an Old English Sheepdog (Seymour). We both have experience with dogs from puppy to senior. Growing up, A.K. also dogsat for multiple families in his neighborhood. Theresa is a runner and would love to (with your permission) take your dog for a fun walk, jog, or adventure to the dog park. If your pup is more of a couch potato, A.K. will be their best friend. Our friends and family have lots of dogs so we're comfortable and familiar interacting with various breeds of dogs (Pugs, Poodles, Shiba Inus, German Shepherds, Bernedoodles just to name a few). **We require a 2 night minimum for bookings besides for repeat clients** We both have some flexibility to work from home and are organized, diligent, and honest. Due to the nature of our careers and just having built a house we know how key customer service, safety, and communication are and we're always available by phone, email, text, app, etc. Our home is close to Midtown and Downtown Detroit and we designed it with our future dog(s) in mind! We have a dog wash in our mud room, a fenced in back/side yard, and a dedicated lit, sleeping/crate space on the 1st floor under the stairs (kinda like Harry Potter!) Our home has central air and all flooring is tile so any fluffy dogs will stay cool during the warmer months.
“Bre did an awesome job keeping me updated with everything and anything she did for my dog Bulleit. She made it really easy to go out of town and not have to have any worry or concern on how he was doing. Will be booking again!”

About: Hi! I’ve fostered both dogs and cats throughout all four years of college, including caring for sick pets and administering medications when needed. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—so much so that my family genuinely thought I would grow up to be a veterinarian. I’m currently a medical student and spend most of my time at home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I treat every animal as if they were my own and truly love providing a safe, calm, and affectionate environment for them. I have a flexible schedule and spend much of my time at home studying, which allows me to provide consistent care, walks, and attention throughout the day. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening routines, and I keep my schedule light when I’m caring for a pet to make sure they feel comfortable and well looked after. I live in a cozy, clean apartment in a very walkable area near the DIA. My building is extremely pet-friendly and even offers dog treats in the lobby. I provide a calm, safe environment and give each pet plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. I follow owners’ routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs, so your pet feels comfortable and at home.
About: I have been lucky enough to have cared for dogs from all ages, breeds, and walks of life. From raising my own since they were puppies, to caring for them to the end of their lives, I have always put their physical and emotional well-being first. While I have had many pets myself- hamsters, rabbits, fish, and birds- my dogs have been my favorite, and dog-sitting for my friends has been a highlight for me, especially since my soul-dog died last year. I have experience working with puppies all the way through senior pups, and I look forward to taking care of YOUR pet(s), so that you can have peace of mind while you have to be away from them. Right now I'm looking for life to slow down a bit, so at the moment, I am completely invested in pet care. I am hoping to build relationships with new families, and become YOUR favorite caregiver! I do have a commitment in Detroit from 10:15am-2pm on Sundays, but am happy to drive to your home and back to ensure continuous care. I cannot do overnights at homes where people smoke inside. I treat clients' pets and homes like they are my own- with the utmost love and care! I remain in specified areas, am quiet and respectful, and ensure the safety of all pets. I'm attentive to the needs of the family, especially any dietary restrictions of the pet(s).
“Our second time using Karley as a dog sitter. We couldn’t be happier with the her. Benji can be a stubborn and challenging little guy but Karley seems to know how to handle him. We will reach out to her again in the future. Two thumbs up!!”

“Absolutely wonderful! Allie was an amazing dog/housesitter during our 5 day vacation. We came home to a spotless house and very happy dog. Allie was extremely responsive throughout the entire booking process and communicated with updates regularly during our trip. We will for sure be requesting Allie’s help again!”

About: I've had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats as well as smaller pets like hamsters and fish, so caring for animals has always felt second nature to me. I currently live with three cats and am very comfortable with feline routines, personalities and special needs. I also have experience with small and large dogs; from growing up with a Chihuahua to caring for an American Bulldog, so I understand how different sizes and temperaments require different approaches. I am attentive, patient, and always focused on making pets feel safe, comfortable and cared for while you're away. I currently work Tuesday-Saturday in the afternoons (typically from 3:30pm-8pm with the occasional later nights). I am available in the mornings for check-ins, quality time, play time, feedings, and walks and I'm happy to help pets start their day calmly and on a schedule. I communicate clearly if my evening availability changes and always prioritize routines and consistency for the pets in my care. Safety, trust and comfort are my top priorities. I provide care in your home so pets can stay in a familiar environment, keeping their routines consistent and minimizing stress. I follow all feeding, walking and care instructions closely, maintain a clean and calm space, and pay attention to details to ensure your pets safety and well-being. My goal is to make both you and you pet confident and relaxed while you're away.
“Erin was a great house sitter while we were on vacation! Our pets were well taken care of, including our high needs cat who needs medication. Erin kept us up to date with photos. When we came home our house was exactly how we left it. Highly recommend Erin to anyone who needs a sitter!”
“Ashley is the best! She treats our boys like they are her own and we can travel with ease knowing she is there with them. She sends lots of messages and pictures, which is so appreciated.”

About: Taking care of animals have always been a passion of mine. Before my parents decided on getting our family a dog I made a powerpoint to convince my parents about how it would teach my siblings and I about responsibility. It wasn’t easy but I finally managed to get my parents on board with getting a doggo! My parents were very impressed on how good I was at taking care of our furry family member that they would talk to their friends to let me pet sit for them here and there, this experience not only taught me about responsibility but also about how special it was to take care of each and every animal. I currently work part-time at a hospital in the radiology department. My days are pretty flexible and I have plenty of free time to spend with your furry animals! I would make sure all the doors are locked for safety purposes and always make sure I know if any of my furry buddies have allergies or an illness I should know about so I can make sure they are safe in my care!
