“What an amazing experience we had with Rachel and Jeff! Every detail in their Rover description is true, and then some. My husband and I traveled from the east coast for a wedding in the city. We brought our energetic, attention-craving pit mix, Sadie, and knew she would need a sitter once we arrived. We‘ve had less than ideal experiences leaving her with folks in the past, so we are super picky when looking through options. From the start Rachel and Jeff gave us a ton of confidence that they were reliable and experienced. They were flexible and professional in setting up the meet-and-greet. Rachel asked all the right questions to learn about Sadie and anticipate her needs. And they offered a tour of their house and big yard before we left her. I came prepared to ask so many questions, but they preempted every single one with a detailed rundown of how Sadie would be kept safe and happy. During the stay, Rachel regularly sent pics, videos and texts to keep us updated on all the fun Sadie was having. She was in contact as much as we needed and was did a great job keeping us reassured. Seriously, these two are pros and it shows! The real kicker was when we came back for pickup. Normally when we leave Sadie with new people in a new place, she returns to us with so much pent up energy and need for attention. But Rachel passed Sadie over to us in a relaxed and content state—that could not happen unless she was given exercise, TLC, and truly loved on while we were gone. I’ve already told my Detroit friends to make this their go-to drop-off. Would 100% recommend to anyone with a tricky doggo in need of lots of love, or anyone who is nervous about parting with their fur baby.”
