“Sam totally and completely exceeded our expectations as a pet sitter and caregiver! Honestly, I was nervous about using Rover to find someone to watch our pit mix, Thelma Lou. She's a rescue and we're the third (and final!) home she's had, so we knew we didn't want to board her at a traditional facility. We also weren't sure how she would get along with other dogs. When we first reached out to Sam, I told her that we were open to boarding, but would prefer to have her drop in on Thelma. Sam really encouraged us to board Thelma with her and after our meet-and-greet, we were convinced! Sam was so positive, patient, and caring with our girl. And she did awesome at helping Thelma socialize with her dogs! Where Sam truly went above and beyond, was helping us make our wedding day special! The reason we had initially reached out was to have her watch Thelma Lou for our wedding. We had originally wanted to have her be a part of our ceremony, but ultimately decided that it would be too overwhelming for her. We then decided that we'd like to have her in our photos and Sam suggested that we add on a pick-up/drop-off service. Sam drove 45+ minutes (with today's insane gas prices!) to bring Thelma up to our venue for about an hour of pictures. She did such a good job and even brought toys and extra treats to get Thelma's attention and winning smiles! Bonus! Sam is taking classes to become a trainer - and it shows in the way she works with her pets. We will DEFINITELY be working with her again in the future! Thank you, Sam!”
