About: Hello! My pet experience consists of having my own doggy for the past 20 years. I rescued my older dog and then got a new puppy. My old Rose passed away but I had to give her eye medication and oral medication everyday so I am comfortable with that. I also grew up with family dogs and cared for those dogs. “Rahied took amazing care of our puppy, Coco! We had a last-minute non-pet friendly trip come up and he was able to accommodate our request of having her stay in his home within twelve hours of booking. We had contacted him the previous evening in case our possible sitter fell through. It was her first time being away from us and we were all very anxious. Rahied put our minds at ease as he is extremely kind and communicative. He responded very quickly to messages through the app. He was also very understanding when our puppy had an accident in his house. She's completely potty trained but I will only go potty in our backyard usually, almost never going when we are on walks. Rahied continue to take her out frequently in his yard and walks to try to get her to go. He showed genuine care and concern for her which was reassuring to us that we had made the right choice entrusting him with our puppy's care. Coco even came home with a new toy that she apparently grew attached to while at Rahied's house. She came home happy like she had a great time! We would definitely recommend Rahied!”

About: I am an animal lover with years of experience taking care of my own dogs and my friends’ many pets. I love to take long walks or sit and hang with animals if that’s what your pets need. I have had dogs in the house since I was a baby, most of which have been large high-energy dogs, so I can handle the big loud pups. My most recent pet was a high-needs senior dog, so I understand the anxiety that comes along with leaving your pet in the care of someone else. I am happy to take care of any special needs and send updates/pictures to ease your mind. I have a soft spot for seniors. In the summer I work from home on weekdays. I have some flexibility when it comes to being able to take longer breaks as long as I can get all my work time in. I have lots of flexibility during weeknights and weekends! My home: I have a great home for dogs, with lots of open space and a fenced back yard. Since I work from home, I would be able to keep an eye on your pets all day long. I have a partner who is home most weeknights and weekdays as well. We recently lost our senior dog and we would love to fill our house with wags and barks again. Clients home: I have lots of experience pet sitting at friends’ homes, so I can adapt to whatever you need at your home. This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Leaving my dog for a week while I was on vacation was a little nerve-wracking, but Cody immediately put me at ease. From our first interaction, it was clear that he is very experienced with dogs and genuinely enjoys caring for them. I have a high-energy Border Collie/Aussie mix, and he handled him wonderfully. He got plenty of attention, exercise, and care, and I could tell he was comfortable and happy during his stay. I also really appreciated was the regular updates and photos he sent throughout the week. It was so reassuring to see how he was doing and know he was in good hands. I would absolutely trust him with my dog again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative sitter.
This was not our first experience with Rachel and won’t be our last. Rachel was great! Our dog clearly enjoyed his time with Rachel and her pack as made evident by the video updates throughout his stay and by the fact that he’s still sleeping two days later. Meredith was the best pet sitter I could have asked for. She was so sweet with my dogs and kept me updated with lots of videos and photos. You can tell how much she loves animals and it felt like she treated my pups as her own. Will absolutely be using her in the future!!
Leaving our pups with Rachel was amazing. She has the same approach to dog life as we do. Lots of updates and pictures. Playing, couch cuddles, and settling down for the evening (they slept on her bed with her, their preference at home as well). We have already booked another stay with her and look forward to more. There is absolutely no doubt they're in great hands.
Lauren was great with Ballerina! Agreed to take her on with short notice for a long weekend trip even considering her medication/anxious needs. Kept us well updated with daily photos and even took her on walks despite the snowy Michigan winter. Ballerina seems to have made a great new friend :)
Veronica was simply amazing! From start to finish; Excellent communication, very attentive and transparent with expectations. Home very neat and clean and kept us updated daily with adorable pics and videos of T3ddy (Teddy) having a great time. I felt our pup was in a safe, warm, clean loving environment. Veronica is highly recommended that your fur baby will be respected and cared for.
