This was the first time our dog, Primo, stayed with someone who wasn’t already familiar with him, so naturally, we were a little nervous about leaving him while we were away on vacation. From the very beginning, Sydney completely put our minds at ease. She took the time to address every concern we had, answered all of our questions, and reassured us that Primo would be safe, comfortable, and very well taken care of. Sydney was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and professional throughout Primo’s entire stay. What we appreciated most was her communication. Every morning and evening, she sent us pictures along with updates and notes about how Primo was doing. About: Updated for 2026 :) I’m about 3+ years into this Rover journey and truly enjoy it for so many reasons. We always had a dog growing up and I had two labs and two cats in my adult life who have sense “gone to heaven”. Now in an apartment and not able to have pets, sitting has become extra special for me, giving me that dose of animal love that I’ve been missing :) I also work remote, which ensures your pets have a little extra TLC <3 As far as experience - I’ve been around and love puppies but also know the attention and care that older pets need. They are honestly some of my favorites. Having met and worked with lots of sitters for my own pets in the past, I know the importance of finding someone you can trust not only with your pets but also in your home. From giving medicine, to walks and playtime, rolling in the grass and picking up poop, it all comes with the territory that I’m already so familiar and comfortable with. Because I work remotely, meeting your pets needs and sticking to their schedule should be no problem at all! I’d love the chance to meet and care for the animals in your family! As I got older, I started getting referrals for pets from around the community and cared for those animals too. For dogs, I will take them outside for walks and indoor/outdoor play as weather permits, and see that their water is always fresh with some treats and cuddles too. For cats, it is play and more play; plus fresh water and treats, then snuggling when we are done.
