“Suzanne is reliable and a great dog walker. My dog looks forward to seeing her, and they have great little adventures through the neighborhood. Hope she can continue to walk him weekly for a long time!!”

About: I have always grown up with dogs. Our family had a senior dog who lived until almost 17 years old, so I have plenty of experience with older dogs! I also have a rescue from Detroit now who is my baby. I am a nurse! So, I work three days a week, but I don’t have designated days. So usually I would need at least a couple of days in advance. I do have my schedule for work booked out at least six weeks. So I can be very very flexible apart from the days that I do work. I will treat your pet the same way that I would treat mine! I will always have eyes on them and make sure that they are safe and happy to see you when you get home!

“Kristin was very thorough and thoughtful when meeting our pups. She did a great job walking our dogs and following up with how they did. We would definitely consider booking with her again.”

“Oreo had a great time!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I bring to every pet I look after. I treat each animal like they’re my own, paying close attention to their unique personalities, routines, and needs. Whether it’s high-energy playtime for puppies, gentle care for seniors, or simply providing a calm presence for anxious pets, I adjust my approach to what makes them feel safe and happy. I have experience with a wide range of dogs—from young pups learning the ropes to older dogs who need a slower pace and extra patience. I’m confident giving medications, handling special diets, and working with shy or reactive pets. I’m also great at keeping owners updated with thoughtful messages and lots of cute photos, so you always feel connected and reassured. I am home Friday- Monday each week. I work from an office Tues- thurs but am close to home, so I am able to come home during lunch for walks or other needs. Note: I do have a dog but I share him with my ex-partner. I only accept boarding requests when my dog is not home. Your pet will always be the only pet in my home when boarding. In my home, pets have a safe and comfortable environment with a fenced-in yard for outdoor play and fresh air. There are limited stairs, which is great for senior dogs or those with mobility issues, and I do have a crate available if your pet is crate-trained or finds comfort in having their own cozy space. When caring for pets in your home, I always follow your routines and preferences—whether that means keeping up with specific feeding schedules, sticking to favorite walking routes, or just knowing where your pet loves to nap. I’m happy to do whatever helps your pet feel most at ease, whether that’s crate time, couch cuddles, or extra play. My goal is to make the experience stress-free for both you and your furry family member.

“Merritt did an excellent job walking my two dogs. They immediately got along right away. Merritt listened to all of my concerns and that made walking them easier for both sides”

“Amanda is great, and my little girl Ella loves the time they spend together. She sends lots of pictures and updates of the fun they’re having. Couldn’t recommend Amanda enough!”

About: Aloha, my name is Rhea. I am originally from Hawaii and went to University of San Francisco for Architecture and Community Design. I moved to Detroit in August 2015 and I am currently working with the City of Detroit. Throughout my life I grew up having pets and a dog in my house. Currently my family has a 12 year dog (Rusty), who I trained when he was a puppy. I started dogsittiting for over 10 years ever since I started babysitting. Families in Hawaii and San Francisco would ask me to housesit and dogsit when needed. At the moment I am having the puppy fever because they just make my day. I enjoy playing and being outdoors with dogs. Who doesn't love to be around them? I’m working on the weekends, but my schedule is flexible on the weekends. I’m available to check on your pups and take them for a walk. I will care for your dog as how much love and care for my own dog. I know how to listen and read their body language to ensure that they feel comfortable around me.

About: Enthusiastic and dedicated dog caretaker with a genuine love for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Skilled in providing comprehensive care, including feeding, walking, and administering medication. Focused on ensuring the well-being, safety, and happiness of each dog through personalized attention and positive reinforcement techniques. Reliable, trustworthy, and passionate about building strong, lasting bonds with dogs and their owners. My own dogs: Pickles (Pug), and Bach (Boxer) would tell you the same! I am a college student who is just hoping to be able to take very good care of some pets this summer :). I will have lots of time to nurture and love your fuzzy pal! As a dedicated dog caretaker, I ensure each dog feels safe and comfortable in their own home by following their regular routines and providing personalized attention. I will feed and water the dog according to the owner's instructions, take them on regular walks, and engage them in play to ensure they get ample exercise and mental stimulation. I am attentive to any special needs or medical requirements, administering medication if necessary. I prioritize creating a calm and nurturing environment, providing companionship and affection to keep the dog happy and stress-free while their owner is away.

“Tara had been wonderful helping my rescue dog Margo adjust to her new home. I couldn't have done it without her help. Always dependable and caring, highly recommend.”

About: I've had dogs throughout most of my childhood and adult life. Currently, I'm a parent to two pit bulls, Ella and Omar. We've been together for the past 13 years. We take at least two walks a day and on nice summer days sometime three. I'm experienced with handling both big dogs and small. I've attended training classes with both of my dogs and I learned that the training is as much for us as it is the dogs! I enjoy giving lots of love and attention to both of them and my wife and I treat them like our own children. They are getting a bit older now, 13 and 12, but they are barely slowing down! If you have active dogs I'm more than happy to go on runs with them or if you've got senior dogs I can do slow walks and/or give plenty of couch potato cuddles too. Basically I love hanging out with furry friends. I work part time in the evenings on Monday and Wednesday from 6-10. In addition to that I'm a freelance illustrator and work mostly from home. Other than that I have a very flexible schedule. For my two pitts I have a fenced in yard. Both are also crate trained and very well mannered. While we are gone they usually have the house to theirselves as they are behaved enough to not make a mess while we are out. They only stay in their crates for short periods of times like when we have numerous guests over or when any maintenance or service people come over. I'm a pretty mellow person that understands dogs all have their own personalities and I do my best to match their energy. I don't get bothered when any messes or accidents happen, as I understand that's just an occasional part of life with dogs and cats. Most of all I just want our furry friends to be happy and comfortable.

“Maria is awesome! She’s very prompt at responding, and has been great with my difficult/moody pup! I feel very comfortable with Maria taking care of my fur baby!”
