She does have a bad ankle so due to that we had to switch over so if u have a bigger stronger dog who pulls or is reactive, may be best to find someone else. But otherwise she did the job and walked him even with that ankle :)! She helped us find other options as well and always had tips to help when issues were brought up. She seems to really care about the animals and what they need.”

About: Hello we are a a pet loving couple with a large home in University District Detroit. We have two dogs of our own and have over a decade of pet ownership each. We have an eight year old St. Bernard who is a lovable couch potato and a two year old corgi who runs the house. We have a large fenced in back yard, plenty of treats, a literal trunk of toys, and plenty of attention to provide. Happy to show you our home before your visit as well as walk through and treat and diet restrictions. While your dog stays with us we will provide a bed, a cage (if needed), and a daily walks and play time to meet their physical needs. Please feel free to ask any questions, set any boundaries for your pets (like no furniture), and we will work with you to make your pets stay the best possible for them! Tony works from home and Victoria is a stay at home dog mom. This gives an incredible flexibility to meet all your pets needs as someone will always be available. We treat your pets as if they are our own. We have owned pers for over 40 years combined and understand how special they are to their families. We will provide walks, treats, medicine, love, and whatever else is required to meet your needs.

About: I will Ensure pets receive correct nutrition for the day, including water, sorting dry / wet food, medications, etc. Dogs will get exercise and receive the appropriate amount of activity and bathroom breaks. Making time for multiple things multitasking , and juggle activities throughout the week. I make sure to have my whole week in order for new opportunities I will make a safe space for them and make sure they are comfortable in that area with all the things they need in front of them

About: I have several years of experience as a veterinary technician in the emergency department of a veterinary referral center, where I also worked in the ICU and intermediate care wards. I’m comfortable caring for medically complex pets, including administering oral and injectable medications, monitoring post-surgical patients, and recognizing early signs that an animal may need urgent veterinary care. I am trained in pet CPR and choking response, so your pets will be in capable hands. At home, I have two senior dogs and truly love caring for older pets. I understand their mobility needs, medication schedules, and the extra patience and gentleness they deserve. I’ve also fostered many dog breeds and cared for sick and bottle-fed kittens, so I’m very comfortable with animals that need extra attention. I’m able to safely lift and assist dogs up to 70 pounds when needed, and I’m happy to help with exotic pets as well. I grew up caring for guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and small mammals, so I’m confident following specialized care instructions. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away, especially if your pet is senior, medically complex, or a little anxious. I treat every animal like my own and prioritize safety, comfort, and lots of love. I finished medical school and I am completely free until July! Just looking for ways to fill all the free time, give some love to cute pets, and offset some of these school loans. I prefer to do the sitting in the pet's own home for their comfort. I can do drop-ins, or spend lots of time with them and take care of the house. Small, dog-friendly dogs are welcome to stay in my house with my two senior dogs. I am constantly trying to stay more active, so I am happy to take dogs on long walks or take them somewhere to play fetch for as long as they need.

About: I have been caring for family, friends and neighbors dogs and cats for 15 years. Walking, feeding, administering treats, administering medications, grooming, vet trips, playing, and all of the snuggles. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available throughout the day; Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm with a little weekend availability. I do apologize, but at the moment I am unavailable to care for your pets in my own home, as I have two cats of my own and no fenced-in yard.

About: I got started dog-sitting as a teenager, because every family I baby-sat for had dogs as well. I've spent years walking and taking care of dogs, though I've never had one of my own. I love dogs, but through my adult life so far, I haven't lived in an apartment complex that allowed them. I am up for long walks and playtime. I also just moved to the Detroit-area from Kalamazoo, and walking dogs seems like a great way to get to know the neighborhoods.

About: I have had dogs since I was born. I have experience dealing with training puppies as well as dealing with senior dogs. I will follow your instructions for care to the T because I know how important it is for dogs to have stable training and schedules. I will take your dog to the park, out on a walk, on a run, or with me around town. In my mind dogs are part of the family and I will treat them as one of my own for as long as I have the privilege to take care of them. I have two rescues, both fixed that get along great with other dogs. I foster for several rescues so i know how to deal with different temperaments of dogs. Your dog will receive the same care as mine and all the same walks/runs/play time. I work from home so I am able to take your dog outside, for walks, and ensure they are getting the exercise they need to thrive. I have a fenced in yard, gated front porch, and a gate on the stairs. The dogs will have full access to the basement (dog proofed) and first floor. Access to the top floor will be for bedtime (if the routine is the dog sleeps in the bed). We also have a playpen and crates here at the house.

About: In a fast paced environment it is easy to overlook our place in the world as animals. Being in close contact with other beings can create connectedness and a sense of place in nature. Simple tasks like dog walking may seem beneath most people, but I see it as an act graciousness and a chance to connect to other beings. About: Besides taking care of dogs the majority of my life, I’ve been working in the animal care field for over 10 years, from pet services to working on the acclaimed television series, “The Dog Whisperer”. I also have the necessary obedience and training skills from working with “Doggie Docs”, a service that creates video documentaries of your popular pet and other services! I have a profound knowledge of proper training procedures and health assessment that ensures your pup will be in very capable and loving hands. I will evaluate individual behavior, nutritional needs, and your dog’s overall fitness then adapt my services. I always strive to provide a safe and fun environment, to the point your pup won’t ever want to leave. I met my first dog when I was about four years old. We called him Yo Yo and he was the most gentle and sweet soul. That was the beginning of the end for me when it comes to my great love affair with our furry friends. Yo Yo would follow me around just to make sure I was okay, and at any sign of distress, he’d start licking me and wagging his tail to show that I was protected and loved without judgement. I was also a huge dog movie fan as a kid. The original “Benji” had such an enormous effect, so much so, when I moved to Los Angeles, I actually sought out the director of the film so I could learn more about dog training. Since then, I’ve had many dogs come into my life, even four simultaneously at one point! I’ve volunteered at animal shelters across the LA and Detroit areas, including fostering dogs. Unfortunately, I’m without a pup right now, but that’s where yours comes in. I get my dog fix while helping their humans? That’s a win-win situation in my book. I work full time, but I have a lot of freedom at my job, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Your pup’s needs will be my primary focus. Sometimes I work from home or at the office, but it’s only a 10-minute drive away. I’m an active person and I thoroughly enjoy going out with the dogs and get a round of running or playtime with them. I also have an extensive DVD collection so if your dog likes classic movies and prefers chilling on the couch, my place will be heaven. I pretty much let dogs get assimilated to my home for a bit before any fun time starts. I'm always with them on an emotional level especially when their owner first leaves them at the home. It must be scary for them, so I try to make them as comfortable as possible. I’m a super laid-back, respectful, considerate guy, and I always strive to be calm and collected. I don’t take this responsibility lightly––dogs are your family––which means they become a part of mine.
