I have treat trained a lot of dogs over the years. Kennel training is also something I've done. I work from home so I can spend a lot of time with your pet. As long as I have at least 2-3 days before a booking I can switch things around to be with your pet. I typically work 4-8 hours and have small breaks where I can leave the school and check in with pets twice a day while I am working. If they need round the clock care, I can make that happen but as it interferes with my day job that would require further conversation as far as pricing. I play with animals, I’ll walk them, bathe them, give them medication if needed. I treat every pet I’m lucky enough to have placed in my care as my own. About: professionally, I have taken care of pets for the last 3 years, ranging from dogs to cats to birds to lizards, with care ranging from normal sittings to walks, to overnight work as well. Personally, I have taken care of pets my whole life, currently either six cats and a big dog (and a gecko). Dogs have always been drawn to me it seems, with all of them (save for one 😅) growing to love me in time. Let me add your pet to that list! I am as malleable as the client needs me to be. Obviously that can change around holidays sometimes, but generally I am super available and almost always by my phone if needed. I unfortunately cannot offer boardings as I have a dog and that would not be fair to her. About: I’m an ER nurse and paramedic looking to spend time playing, walking and caring for pets. Or house sitting. I typically am free 3-4 days a week as I work 3-12 hour shifts a week at the hospital. Naturally, I’m very compassionate and care very deeply about living beings. I also have had cats and dogs of my own. I’m 58, dependable, have my own car and am active. I work 3 days a week in the ER. Which leave 4 days a week to pet sit and walk dogs! I have a Honda Fit that I am not fussy about, a dog is welcome to take a ride to Belle Isle or to the dog park! Ideally I would sit in your home, but I’m sure if your dog or cat is friendly my family would love to have them overnight!

About: Hello pet-owners! I'm Blythe, lover of all things fluffy. I grew up with golden retrievers and owned a delightful hedgehog named Dwaeji as an adult. I have moved 12 times in the last 10 years (five of which I spent overseas), so I have been unable to own my own cat or dog, but I am a HUGE fan of borrowing other people's pets for some play time. I just purchased a house with a yard on the east side of Detroit (Morningside) that can accommodate dogs and cats alike. I am a long-time petsitter for friends and family and spent two years as a professional dog walker in Chicago. I am a student at Wayne Law and have flexible availability during the day.
