About: Hello~ I’m Olivia! I’ve been around dogs most of my life (since I was a baby!), and now that I’m on my own, I really feel the animal-shaped hole in my heart. As I don’t currently have any pets due to my circumstances, I still want to have that connection and joy you get from the pure love of a dog. I can promise if you trust me with your paw-ed family member, I will treat them as my own. I understand the difficulties dogs may have as they get older, and have experience with giving pills, cleaning up after accidents, and monitoring gait and health concerns. Each dog is special with their own needs and I am familiar with dogs with stomach issues and licking disorders, like the Shiba Inu and mixed breeds. If you need someone to follow specific directions, I have experience in food service following recipes and have been lauded for my attention to detail. It is always so important to find someone that will properly care for your furry family member as they are not able to advocate for themselves. I do work full-time during the week, but have a decently flexible schedule and can stop in early in the morning, around lunchtime, and after work. I am also available on the weekends for those on vacation or needing assistance getting walks in! I understand it can be incredibly difficult to trust someone in your space, but I treat people’s spaces and pets how I would want mine treated. I believe coming to the pet in an environment they are familiar with can make it easier to develop trust and friendship, which are my goals for a happy pet-sitter relationship!

About: My friends routinely call upon me to check in on their cats when they (the friends, not the cats, haha) go out of town. Tasks mainly include feeding the cats canned food, scooping the litter boxes, and playing with the sociable ones. At times I've stayed overnight with multiple cats, the lonely and/or sociable ones jumping on the bed to keep me company. When I visit my sister in New York State, I bond with my niece's dog, Milo. There are a few photos in my profile. My niece often asks me to walk him, so Milo and I go on some interesting adventures. Ask me about the time he chased 15 deer across a cemetery. I currently live with one cat, a diluted calico named Savannah. I can come over and walk your dogs pretty much any afternoon except Saturday, and most evenings, too. The same goes for feeding your cats and scooping their litter boxes. Please drop me a note as to your needs. I have experience walking and feeding dogs, feeding cats canned food and scooping their litter boxes, and sometimes staying overnight to keep the pets company. I currently live with one cat, Savannah, a 12-year old diluted calico. A few years back I had three betta fish, pictures of which are in my profile, but bettas live only two years.

About: Hi! My name is Alex. I am heavily involved in the world of animal rescue, and have experience with a variety of different animals. I have cared for and fostered dozens of dogs throughout my life, and absolutely love large dogs and bully breeds! I have also fostered and cared for hundreds of adult cats, kittens, and geriatric felines. I am a major proponent of positive reinforcement, and will not ever work with any kind of negative reinforcement or punishment based training. I am comfortable with some clicker and reward based training as well should you want to work on a few things with your dog and/or cat (I've trained a few cats to do tricks, too!) I am experienced in administering a variety of medications. I have three cats of my own ranging from 15-years-old to 2-years-old, and a 5-year-old 65lb pitty. Ask me anything! I truly cannot wait to meet your furry family members! My job allows me an immense amount of flexibility as well as being remote so I have lots of time for your baby! I can provide multiple check ins a day during the week or weekend. Although I do not bring clients into my home, I care for them in their comfortable home environment however they are most comfortable. It's important I maintain their routines and help them to feel safe and secure. For cats this includes dedicated toy time and snuggles, and for dogs it includes supervised yard time or walkies!

About: I have a flexible schedule, as someone who does pet care and grocery shopping full time. I grew up with dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, turtles, and more! I’m truly happiest when spending time with animals! I hope you consider me to care for your sweet fur babies, they’ll be in great hands and I’ll treat them as my own! Unemployed so I have plenty of time. About: Taking care of all animals to me is really a passion. I have 3 dogs and 2 guinea pigs. Taking care of my animals is really a responsibility and blessing to me they are apart of my family and genuinely make me happy. I Volunteered at shelter (Detroit dog rescue) a for about 2 months I took a green class and I’m certified by the shelter to take care and walk of non aggressive to timid dogs.I work as CNA to elderly people and I Just enjoy caring for people and animals. It would be a joy to meet with other animals and help others with their pets because it can be struggle when life gets busy. I do not accept other dogs into my home. I am more comfortable coming into other homes. I have dogs myself and they are more on the timid side and do better amongst themselves. I do work full time and just need some extra income with doing the job I enjoy. I will ONLY do what you instructed me to do with and for your animal. I treat your animals as if they are mine own.

About: Dogs have always been in my life even when I was growing up we always had at least two in the home. I connect with dogs so easily. It’s second nature to me at this point. I’m pretty familiar with large breed dogs, but also don’t mind the minis. I’m a pro at dog hiking as well so if you’re furry little friend needs some activity I’m your gal! I currently work from home so it is very easy for me to get things done during the day and leaves a lot of room for going out. Rule #1 : owner inductions This is the FIRST thing I check. Once everything looks good, I typically will make sure that there is food and water and then immediately take the dog out and after maybe some play or some cuddles it depends on the day.

About: Hello all! I am a huge animal lover and have been an avid volunteer at various shelters for many years. I have been a trusted sitter for many friends and family members, and have pets of my own who are very much part of my family. I have a great deal of experience with many different breeds, some positive reinforcement training experience, and some basic first aid/troubleshooting experience. I will always treat any animal within my care as my own, and take my responsibility of being trusted with someone's family member incredibly seriously. I work from home on a varied, part-time schedule. I plan to use the late morning/early afternoon hours when I am typically free to do walks and/or check-ins and can do overnights as needed when my schedule allows. Making sure there is not "people food" easily accessible to the pet when that's a concern, being mindful of small parts they may try to eat and choke on etc. Making sure the animal has enrichment activities to make it less likely they will chew on or destroy anything they aren't supposed to. Paying attention to notes on pet profiles, making myself aware of any concerns with cats/dogs/kids/food aggression etc. Being sure to lock & double check doors before bed or when leaving the property.

About: On top of having a genuine love for animals I am also task, oriented and believe in the upmost respect and welfare of each pet coming to my home. Pets are treated as part of my family however, I recognize that they are also held to a higher standard due to being a distinguished visitor in my home it is not only my pleasure But my duty to provide the best care possible for the best Rover experience. Phase 1 – Introduction An in-person or virtual meet-and-greet where the owner and I determine if care is a good fit. Phase 2 – Initial Care Day Often the hardest transition for the pet, but made easier for both the owner and me through successful meet-and-greets Phase 3 – Companionship This stage focuses on building rapport with the pet through bonding activities. Each day includes at least 30 minutes and three activities (e.g., walks, toys, fetch, petting, treats, and rewards). Phase 4 – Integration (for boarding or multi-day visits) At this stage, the pet becomes part of the daily routine and begins to see me as their temporary caregiver. Phase 5 – Reunion The happiest moment—when the pet reunites with their owner. Their excitement and expressions are truly priceless.

About: I show the same love and care to every pet I encounter as if they were my own. Any pet that is in my care will feel safe and happy. I am a stay at home father so I have plenty of time to schedule walks and drop ins. I am available most mornings and afternoons. If in house service is needed I will make sure your pet is safe and comfortable. Any instructions provided to me will be followed to the tee.

About: I’ve have taken care of dogs for over 20 years. I specialize in the care of small dogs and those with special needs. I have an elderly, blind, partially deaf Boston terrier of my own so I am well acquainted with caring for dogs. I work from home quarter-time and have a lot flexibility. I am present and available to meet your dogs needs. The longest they would have to wait to go outside is two hours. I have a fully fenced in backyard and a walkable neighborhood! I have one small elderly dog that sleeps all day and keeps to herself. I have elementary age kids that are helpful and also love dogs.

About: I’ve always had great experiences of taking care of pets since childhood. From taking care of my own, pet sitting for friends while they’re out of town as well as working at a doggy daycare for a year. I have experience with both cats & dogs of various sizes and ages. I’m employed full time and unable to accept request Tuesday-Thursday. My availability is Friday-Monday for house sitting and Saturday & Sunday for dog walking and check ins. I cannot board pets at my home since I share my living space at this time, however, I’m opening to visit/stay at the client’s home if needed.

In February of this year I got into a horrible accident and didn’t wake up for two days, I lived alone and my dog didn’t have anyone, I woke up in the ICU and Samantha was the first one I got a hold of knowing she had a key. She showed and saved my dogs life, my keys were lost in the accident and I had no way to get home. She safely got the key to my family and Obsidian is safe and healthy with me traveling across the United States and happier then ever. I couldn’t thank her enough for being that reliable. About: I have 4 cats and 2 dogs of my own who are very socialized! I’m great at training fur babies if they need any and I have lots of energy to keep up with them as well! My partner and I recently bought our home in Detroit that has a good size yard for play space for your dogs! I also do date night sitting in the surrounding areas so I have no problem driving out to give your fur babies a potty break and some love when you’re out at work. I have been doing house sitting along with pet sitting for some time now so I have great references if needed! I am married, no children yet and as I mentioned have 2 dogs and 4 kitties! They’re all very friendly and welcoming to others. I work from home so I have time to give love and as many potty breaks as they need while they are here! I treat all dogs like my own. I have a fenced yard and will do lots of supervised play time in it! My dogs love to play with other dogs as well, all supervised of course!
