About: Hello all! I am a huge animal lover and have been an avid volunteer at various shelters for many years. I have been a trusted sitter for many friends and family members, and have pets of my own who are very much part of my family. I have a great deal of experience with many different breeds, some positive reinforcement training experience, and some basic first aid/troubleshooting experience. I will always treat any animal within my care as my own, and take my responsibility of being trusted with someone's family member incredibly seriously. I work from home on a varied, part-time schedule. I plan to use the late morning/early afternoon hours when I am typically free to do walks and/or check-ins and can do overnights as needed when my schedule allows. Making sure there is not "people food" easily accessible to the pet when that's a concern, being mindful of small parts they may try to eat and choke on etc. Making sure the animal has enrichment activities to make it less likely they will chew on or destroy anything they aren't supposed to. Paying attention to notes on pet profiles, making myself aware of any concerns with cats/dogs/kids/food aggression etc. Being sure to lock & double check doors before bed or when leaving the property.

About: On top of having a genuine love for animals I am also task, oriented and believe in the upmost respect and welfare of each pet coming to my home. Pets are treated as part of my family however, I recognize that they are also held to a higher standard due to being a distinguished visitor in my home it is not only my pleasure But my duty to provide the best care possible for the best Rover experience. Phase 1 – Introduction An in-person or virtual meet-and-greet where the owner and I determine if care is a good fit. Phase 2 – Initial Care Day Often the hardest transition for the pet, but made easier for both the owner and me through successful meet-and-greets Phase 3 – Companionship This stage focuses on building rapport with the pet through bonding activities. Each day includes at least 30 minutes and three activities (e.g., walks, toys, fetch, petting, treats, and rewards). Phase 4 – Integration (for boarding or multi-day visits) At this stage, the pet becomes part of the daily routine and begins to see me as their temporary caregiver. Phase 5 – Reunion The happiest moment—when the pet reunites with their owner. Their excitement and expressions are truly priceless.

In February of this year I got into a horrible accident and didn’t wake up for two days, I lived alone and my dog didn’t have anyone, I woke up in the ICU and Samantha was the first one I got a hold of knowing she had a key. She showed and saved my dogs life, my keys were lost in the accident and I had no way to get home. About: I have 4 cats and 2 dogs of my own who are very socialized! I’m great at training fur babies if they need any and I have lots of energy to keep up with them as well! My partner and I recently bought our home in Detroit that has a good size yard for play space for your dogs! I also do date night sitting in the surrounding areas so I have no problem driving out to give your fur babies a potty break and some love when you’re out at work. I have been doing house sitting along with pet sitting for some time now so I have great references if needed! I am married, no children yet and as I mentioned have 2 dogs and 4 kitties! They’re all very friendly and welcoming to others. I work from home so I have time to give love and as many potty breaks as they need while they are here! I treat all dogs like my own. I have a fenced yard and will do lots of supervised play time in it! My dogs love to play with other dogs as well, all supervised of course!

About: I’ve been an animal lover since day one. I've been pet sitting since I was a young girl, and that really honestly prepared me for motherhood. As a mama of 4, and a doggy mama of 2 your pets will get the love they need with me! Ive got a lot of energy to play with more high energy dogs, and I love to just chill with the couch potatoes. About: I am first-aid certified for both cats and dogs by the American Red Cross. I currently work as a dog bather, and have had previous experience as a dog daycare attendant. I am the one my family calls on whenever they need a sitter for their furry/scaly friends, on top of caring for my own animal family members. I am a huge animal lover and have a deep passion for the well being and happiness for all of them, big or small, young or old, furry or scaly! I currently work as a dog bather, and the longest shifts I do are 9 hours maximum. My schedule is fairly flexible at the moment, so if your pet needs more frequent care/potty breaks, I will most likely be able to adjust my work schedule. Just let me know! In my eyes, pets should be treated like family. Although I cannot watch your pet in my own home, I will make sure they are extremely comfortable in yours while you're away. I will provide an appropriate amount of play time, make sure they get frequent potty breaks, feed them on their established schedule, and of course give them lots of cuddles if they like that!

Medical school is primarily online and very flexible. I am able to walk dogs or host them in my home without having to leave them for longer than 4 hours at a time. When I leave, my bedding and towel will be in the wash, the trash will be emptied, the dishes cleaned, and your home will be just as your left it (if not cleaner!)

About: I’ve always had great experiences of taking care of pets since childhood. From taking care of my own, pet sitting for friends while they’re out of town as well as working at a doggy daycare for a year. I have experience with both cats & dogs of various sizes and ages. I’m employed full time and unable to accept request Tuesday-Thursday. My availability is Friday-Monday for house sitting and Saturday & Sunday for dog walking and check ins. Meet my pets Chicago is a 4 year old playful husky mix who enjoys sunbathing and meeting new friends, About my yard I have a completely fenced in chain link backyard. We have had a history of escape artists with our own dogs so some parts are very tall and reinforced! No toxic plants or pesticides used in our back yard either! My experience administering medication Absolutely. ---- vet tech here! LoL We took a break from sitting for a while when our dogs became seniors. We now have a dog that enjoys having friends over again! I also offer drop in services and would love to take your dog for a short walk, training walk or play time in the backyard if you need it! If your dog is staying in my home I would likely be here the entire time. I do require dogs are able to stay in a crate or a secure gated room when alone so the dog are separated when unsupervised.

I have knowledge of working with a variety of pet personalities, including those shy and nervous. I have extensive experience working with dogs including working in a boarding kennel, at a pet store, and at a dog park. I also have 15 years of house and pet sitting experience. My personal experience includes being around dogs my entire life. My family has always had them in the home and once I moved out, I gained a couple of my own. I have two dogs who are 100% pet friendly. I specialize in sensitive and older dogs who may have a hard time at a boarding kennel or in a more lively home. I have both a rescue and older dog who are sensitive and unable to be boarded outside of the home. I know how difficult this can be and would love to open my home to your pet when you are in need. Iwould like to make your dog sitter situation as stress-free as possible, and am willing to do what is required to diminish the worry that comes with leaving your pets in the care of someone else. My home is an excellent environment for the more particular pets, as it is tailored to my own. I live in a ranch with no other people in the home. There are no stairs and the majority of the floor is carpet, perfect for pets who have issues with mobility or fear regarding flooring. Pets are always given the option to socialize with us but if they prefer to be on their own to rest. We will not have visitors while your pup is a guest. I am a public school employee and do not work out of the home over the summer. Your pet will get plenty of attention and entertainment. I care for your dog as if it were my own. I can make accommodations on a dog by dog basis. My personal dogs have wildly different needs and I recognize that not all dogs have the same needs. I will do what is necessary to keep your dog happy, healthy, and safe.
