10. Brit W.
“Brit did a good job walking my 130 pound American Akita named Apollo. Apollo walks good on a leash, but if he sees a squirrel he may pull. Today Brit was able to teach me something new. Today I learned when he pulls to bend my arm to get more control. Brit has lots of experience with dogs, even large breeds. Would def book her to walk him again.”

About: I’ve been able to love and care many different dogs to newborn to senior dogs, I’ve been able to experience walking dogs who are sometimes stubborn and those who are excited to walk. I’ve taught puppies potty training and have check in on dogs whose parents have been out on vacations many times in my neighborhood and family, being able to be surrounded by dogs of all sizes and ages have taught me special skills and have deepened my love for them. I work part time so my schedule is very flexible, I also go part time to college. I do care for other dogs for friends, family or neighbors when they need me so daily routine is flexible. I have a fenced home, clean environment at home, pee pads available and changed often, crates and dog purses so can be carried, plenty of room to roam and of course leashes and collars. I will care for your pets follow instructions and make sure their safety is my priority and your trust .

About: Hello all! I am a huge animal lover and have been an avid volunteer at various shelters for many years. I have been a trusted sitter for many friends and family members, and have pets of my own who are very much part of my family. I have a great deal of experience with many different breeds, some positive reinforcement training experience, and some basic first aid/troubleshooting experience. I will always treat any animal within my care as my own, and take my responsibility of being trusted with someone's family member incredibly seriously. I work from home on a varied, part-time schedule. I plan to use the late morning/early afternoon hours when I am typically free to do walks and/or check-ins and can do overnights as needed when my schedule allows. Making sure there is not "people food" easily accessible to the pet when that's a concern, being mindful of small parts they may try to eat and choke on etc. Making sure the animal has enrichment activities to make it less likely they will chew on or destroy anything they aren't supposed to. Paying attention to notes on pet profiles, making myself aware of any concerns with cats/dogs/kids/food aggression etc. Being sure to lock & double check doors before bed or when leaving the property.

About: I use to have a beagle and Pitt bulls, and they were the sweetest! I love their little personalities. My friend also got a kitten recently & she’s so fun! I love cats and dogs, but I’m very active; so walking the trail behind my house w the dogs will be great. I’m currently working from home Monday-Friday and my schedule is very flexible. I have a trail behind my house I like to walk, perfect for pets! I will be available for multiple breaks throughout the day for walks. I’ll allow them on my couch for cuddles and movies. I can watch them for multiple days or even come to you, if you’re in the area. If they need a bath, I can do that as well.
18. Destiney A.
“Destiney has had multiple pets, is very responsible, and has plenty of experience in terms of babysitting and caring for animals. I’ve left my pets with her many times when I go on vacation, and she always does a great job.”

About: I am kind, compassionate, and patient. I have knowledge of working with a variety of pet personalities, including those shy and nervous. I have extensive experience working with dogs including working in a boarding kennel, at a pet store, and at a dog park. I also have 15 years of house and pet sitting experience. My personal experience includes being around dogs my entire life. My family has always had them in the home and once I moved out, I gained a couple of my own. I have two dogs who are 100% pet friendly. I currently only accept sensitive and older dogs who may have a hard time at a boardking kennel or in a more lively home. I have both a rescue and older dog who are sensitive and unable to be boarded outside of the home. I know how difficult this can be and would love to open my home to your pet when you are in need. Iwould like to make your dog sitter situation as stress-free as possible, and am willing to do what is required to diminish the worry that comes with leaving your pets in the care of someone else. My home is an excellent environment for the more particular pets, as it is tailored to my own. I live in a ranch with no other people in the home. There are no stairs and the majority of the floor is carpet, perfect for pets who have issues with mobility or fear regarding flooring. Pets are always given the option to socialize with us but if they prefer to be on their own to rest. We will not have visitors while your pup is a guest. I have a hybrid work schedule and am able to tailor it to your pet's varying needs. Your pet will get plenty of one-on-one attention I care for your dog as if it were my own. I can make accommodations on a dog by dog basis. My personal dogs have wildly different needs and I recognize that not all dogs have the same needs. I will do what is necessary to keep your dog happy, healthy, and safe.
