About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and caretaker. With my own animals in adulthood, I’ve found incredible joy building bonds with them through training and adventures. I enjoy learning from professional trainers and using their techniques to create a great relationship with animals. I have a flexible schedule right now with extra time for walks and drop-in visits both during the week and on weekends! If you’re unsure whether timing lines up with my calendar, don’t hesitate to ask. Pet safety is always top of mind for me. I’m conscientious about factors like temperature, escape opportunities, animal encounters, and unexpected food, glass, etc. I closely observe your pet’s behavior to track comfort and stress levels so I can adjust as needed.

About: On top of having a genuine love for animals I am also task, oriented and believe in the upmost respect and welfare of each pet coming to my home. Pets are treated as part of my family however, I recognize that they are also held to a higher standard due to being a distinguished visitor in my home it is not only my pleasure But my duty to provide the best care possible for the best Rover experience. Phase 1 – Introduction An in-person or virtual meet-and-greet where the owner and I determine if care is a good fit. Phase 2 – Initial Care Day Often the hardest transition for the pet, but made easier for both the owner and me through successful meet-and-greets Phase 3 – Companionship This stage focuses on building rapport with the pet through bonding activities. Each day includes at least 30 minutes and three activities (e.g., walks, toys, fetch, petting, treats, and rewards). Phase 4 – Integration (for boarding or multi-day visits) At this stage, the pet becomes part of the daily routine and begins to see me as their temporary caregiver. Phase 5 – Reunion The happiest moment—when the pet reunites with their owner. Their excitement and expressions are truly priceless.

About: Hello all! I am a huge animal lover and have been an avid volunteer at various shelters for many years. I have been a trusted sitter for many friends and family members, and have pets of my own who are very much part of my family. I have a great deal of experience with many different breeds, some positive reinforcement training experience, and some basic first aid/troubleshooting experience. I will always treat any animal within my care as my own, and take my responsibility of being trusted with someone's family member incredibly seriously. I work from home on a varied, part-time schedule. I plan to use the late morning/early afternoon hours when I am typically free to do walks and/or check-ins and can do overnights as needed when my schedule allows. Making sure there is not "people food" easily accessible to the pet when that's a concern, being mindful of small parts they may try to eat and choke on etc. Making sure the animal has enrichment activities to make it less likely they will chew on or destroy anything they aren't supposed to. Paying attention to notes on pet profiles, making myself aware of any concerns with cats/dogs/kids/food aggression etc. Being sure to lock & double check doors before bed or when leaving the property.

About: I have experience caring for dogs and cats with different personalities and needs. I’m reliable, patient, and pay close attention to routines, feeding, and behavior. I’m comfortable with walks, drop-ins, and keeping pets calm and comfortable in their own environment. I always send updates so you know your pet is safe and doing well. I’m flexible and available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I keep my schedule organized so I can show up on time and give each pet my full attention. About: I grew up with dogs, so caring for them is second nature to me. I am able to do basic grooming as well as bathing! I helped raise my family's current dog, taking her on walks as well as training her. I am not a certified trainer, but I had fun training her and found it relatively easy! I have experience with both large/extra large dogs as well as small dogs, with varying activity levels. I am currently home from college for summer break. I have church on Sunday mornings as well as karate Monday evenings, but other than that I am free to care for your fur babies! I am open and willing to adapt to the needs of your fur babies to the best of my ability. I have experience with fenced in yards and e-collars/invisible fences.

About: I’ve been an animal lover since day one. I've been pet sitting since I was a young girl, and that really honestly prepared me for motherhood. As a mama of 4, and a doggy mama of 2 your pets will get the love they need with me! Ive got a lot of energy to play with more high energy dogs, and I love to just chill with the couch potatoes. I’ve had puppies and dogs all my life so if you’re in a training regiment I’m happy to help keep that consistent on my visits! In February of this year I got into a horrible accident and didn’t wake up for two days, I lived alone and my dog didn’t have anyone, I woke up in the ICU and Samantha was the first one I got a hold of knowing she had a key. She showed and saved my dogs life, my keys were lost in the accident and I had no way to get home. She safely got the key to my family and Obsidian is safe and healthy with me traveling across the United States and happier then ever. I couldn’t thank her enough for being that reliable. About: I have 4 cats and 2 dogs of my own who are very socialized! I’m great at training fur babies if they need any and I have lots of energy to keep up with them as well! My partner and I recently bought our home in Detroit that has a good size yard for play space for your dogs! I also do date night sitting in the surrounding areas so I have no problem driving out to give your fur babies a potty break and some love when you’re out at work. I have been doing house sitting along with pet sitting for some time now so I have great references if needed! I am married, no children yet and as I mentioned have 2 dogs and 4 kitties! They’re all very friendly and welcoming to others. I work from home so I have time to give love and as many potty breaks as they need while they are here! I treat all dogs like my own. I have a fenced yard and will do lots of supervised play time in it! My dogs love to play with other dogs as well, all supervised of course!

About: I am an experienced foster animal caregiver, and a teacher. I offer a totally open schedule during the summer and on weekends. I’ve taken care of animals since a young age; I’ve personally had, kittens, cats, dogs, puppies, chickens, fish, and hamsters too. I have experience in crate training, potty training, basic obedience and leash training as well. Currently I have a male Golden Retriever in my home who is not neutered due to breed standards- he will be as soon as he is old enough, and he is up to date on all his vaccines and shots. He is well mannered and loves all animals- we have hosted puppies and dogs through the foster rescue and all were successful :) I am currently a teacher, so my weekends and “breaks” are fully open; beginning in June will be home full time! I wake up pretty early and like to spend time in the backyard with my resident doggie and any fosters I have playing with toys, balls, or sticks. Then I move into a short training session based on what the pups need- if it’s just my resident dog I usually work on a new command or leash skills. We head inside and usually it’s nap time (where the pups can relax on the couch if they want)! After naps or relaxing time we go back outside for more playtime, or go for a walk and repeat throughout the day. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in backyard and a very friendly 10 month old golden retriever pup to keep your doggies company. I do have a separate “doggie room” which has crates, beds, toys, etc on hand just in case the pup needs a break or some adjustment time- and in there we have extra collars and leashes. We have two baby gates that block of the bathroom and front door area so the doggies don’t get into cleaning supplies or slip out the front door :)

About: I started pet sitting after getting my first dog 6 years ago. He’s well trained and knows a bunch of commands because I enjoyed training him! Since then I’ve fostered, dog-sat, and rescued a bunch of dogs and even some cats! I currently work 3-4 days a week so, I have a lot of free time! I usually devote it to making extra cash and I prefer dog sitting because I actually enjoy it. I prefer to let my dog roam with frequent bathroom breaks and play time. I treat dogs in my home as a part of the family. Every dog is different and my need different care!

About: I love animals of all kinds...cats, dogs, horses, lizards, reptiles. I grew up around large dog breeds and spent my childhood taking horseback riding lessons and playing in frog hollers. Now I have a cat of my own and would love to spend my summers off helping you with pet care, too. As a teacher, it is a joy to have summers off, and so much of my week has lots of leisurely free time. I'm available most weekdays until around 7pm. During the school year, I'd love to end my work day taking your furry friend out for a walk or stopping by to check in on them! Growing up around large dog breeds my whole life, I'm comfortable with dogs of all kinds. With a family member who works in vet medicine, I have some knowledge of pet care and pet health; including training, grooming, and dog-walking safety, and understanding pet behaviors. I also have previous experience pet sitting for friends and family, including varying feeding times and administering medications to pets. Pet safety has always been very important to me, so I always make sure my pets' vaccines are up to date, and I never let my cat out to roam outside. Dogs are always leashed, unless they are in their own private yard. I be sure to look out for other pets and animals while out to make sure everyone stays safe. I'm now so lucky to have a cat of my own who rules the house, loving all the attention in the world from her mom and dad. She loves treats and pets, and bird watching from the window. While my space is quite small for any boarding, I'd love to help you care for your furry friend by taking them on walks or helping out at home while you're away. Of course, with lots of treats to share!

About: I’ve had pets of my own for years, so I understand the responsibility, patience, and attention that goes into caring for animals every day. I also volunteer at animal shelters, where I help care for pets by feeding them, spending time with them, and making sure they feel comfortable. About: I am first-aid certified for both cats and dogs by the American Red Cross. I currently work as a dog bather, and have had previous experience as a dog daycare attendant. I am the one my family calls on whenever they need a sitter for their furry/scaly friends, on top of caring for my own animal family members. I am a huge animal lover and have a deep passion for the well being and happiness for all of them, big or small, young or old, furry or scaly! I currently work as a dog bather, and the longest shifts I do are 9 hours maximum. My schedule is fairly flexible at the moment, so if your pet needs more frequent care/potty breaks, I will most likely be able to adjust my work schedule. Just let me know! In my eyes, pets should be treated like family. Although I cannot watch your pet in my own home, I will make sure they are extremely comfortable in yours while you're away. I will provide an appropriate amount of play time, make sure they get frequent potty breaks, feed them on their established schedule, and of course give them lots of cuddles if they like that!

About: I’ve always had great experiences of taking care of pets since childhood. From taking care of my own, pet sitting for friends while they’re out of town as well as working at a doggy daycare for a year. I have experience with both cats & dogs of various sizes and ages. I’m employed full time and unable to accept request Tuesday-Thursday. My availability is Friday-Monday for house sitting and Saturday & Sunday for dog walking and check ins. I cannot board pets at my home since I share my living space at this time, however, I’m opening to visit/stay at the client’s home if needed.

About: I work from home so your pet will not be left home alone for extended periods of time. I am kind, compassionate, and patient. I have knowledge of working with a variety of pet personalities, including those shy and nervous. I have extensive experience working with dogs including working in a boarding kennel, at a pet store, and at a dog park. I also have 15 years of house and pet sitting experience. My personal experience includes being around dogs my entire life. My family has always had them in the home and once I moved out, I gained a couple of my own. I have two dogs who are 100% pet friendly. I specialize in sensitive and older dogs who may have a hard time at a boarding kennel or in a more lively home. I have both a rescue and older dog who are sensitive and unable to be boarded outside of the home. I know how difficult this can be and would love to open my home to your pet when you are in need. Iwould like to make your dog sitter situation as stress-free as possible, and am willing to do what is required to diminish the worry that comes with leaving your pets in the care of someone else. My home is an excellent environment for the more particular pets, as it is tailored to my own. I live in a ranch with no other people in the home. There are no stairs and the majority of the floor is carpet, perfect for pets who have issues with mobility or fear regarding flooring. Pets are always given the option to socialize with us but if they prefer to be on their own to rest. We will not have visitors while your pup is a guest. I am a public school employee and do not work out of the home over the summer. Your pet will get plenty of attention and entertainment. I care for your dog as if it were my own. I can make accommodations on a dog by dog basis. My personal dogs have wildly different needs and I recognize that not all dogs have the same needs. I will do what is necessary to keep your dog happy, healthy, and safe.
