“Tara and her family are great!!! Tara boarded my 8 month old high energy puppy, Chantè, for a week with no problem. During her stay, Tara sent tons of pictures of and updated me on how she was doing. When my returning flight was delayed she was very understanding when I couldn’t make the planned pick up time. When I picked up Chantè I could tell she had a blast and was well taken care of. When we got home I could tell she missed her new friends!! Thanks again for everything!!!”

About: I have have had dogs and cats my whole life and have always loved them and wanted to work with animals since I was little. I have had pets as young as 4 weeks old to 18 years old, but I am comfortable working with all aged pets. I currently have three cats, Sadia, Mr. Orange and Oakley. I have had Sadia since she was a kitten and is almost 6 now. And the two boys I rescued within the past 6 months from being street cats and have fit so perfectly into our home. They are so sweet and friendly and great with my daughter Mila. I have always told my daughter since she was a baby to pet gently and be nice to all animals and now that she understands a lot more she loves animals just as much as I do and I am very proud of how good she does around any animal. I currently work part time with many off days in a row, so pet care would work perfectly into my daily and weekly routine with no problem. I have a fenced in backyard so we would be spending much of our time outside if the weather is nice. For inside the house I have baby gates if necessary. If I come to your home we will spend most of our time playing outside or going for walks.

I offer walks +/- basic leash training also! I have been pet sitting dogs and cats over 20 years! I am a licensed veterinary technician and also train dogs and their families addressing behavior issues. Do you have cats? I would love to stop over and feed them, clean litterboxes, medicate, or just play and love on them! We now have a dog that enjoys having friends over again! I also offer drop in services and would love to take your dog for a short walk, training walk or play time in the backyard if you need it! If your dog is staying in my home I would likely be here the entire time. I do require dogs are able to stay in a crate or a secure gated room when alone so the dog are separated when unsupervised.

About: I started pet sitting after getting my first dog 6 years ago. He’s well trained and knows a bunch of commands because I enjoyed training him! Since then I’ve fostered, dog-sat, and rescued a bunch of dogs and even some cats! I currently work 3-4 days a week so, I have a lot of free time! I usually devote it to making extra cash and I prefer dog sitting because I actually enjoy it. I prefer to let my dog roam with frequent bathroom breaks and play time. I treat dogs in my home as a part of the family. Every dog is different and my need different care!

I cannot recommend Chris and Cassandra highly enough. Through some glitch in the system, they were suggested to me, even though they were a 40 minute drive away. I will ABSOLUTELY be making that 40 minute drive again when my dog needs a sitter.”
