“Of I could give Steven 100 stars I would. He did a fantastic job with my dog. I asked him could we meet before he watched her and he was now than willing. I asked because my dog doesn't care for men nor does she like other pets. When I introduced them she was snappy at first but warmed up to Steven. But Steven brought his dog out and I could not control her. She went right into attack mode and all I could think is, this is not going to work. Well me and Steven had a conversation on several ways to handle this. And ended up not utilizing any we talked about. He had her social with other dogs by the end of the day and they played together and say together. He sent me pictures and videos of the interactions and made me feel comfortable. When I picked her up he had everything ready for her to leave with and she was a happy dog. From this interaction I'm going to use Steven every time I need a sitter. About: I’ve had animals around me since I was younger than 10 years young. I’ve raised 2 puppies (Great Dane & Keeshound) in my short life, rescued a pair of sibling old cats and have had many exotic animals I’ve cared for. There hasn’t been a time in my life that I can remember that I didn’t have pets around to take care of and love on! I currently work only the weekends for myself and would love nothing more than to spend time with your pets during the week! I love spending time animals, especially in the outdoors so walks and drop ins are perfect for me! I do have a fenced in yard if I ever needed to keep your fur babies overnight. Since raising my own two puppies I do have a lot of experience with walks and feedings.

My mom, sister, and I used to rehabilitate baby foxes, raccoons, squirrels, possums, and different types of birds. I was a full time dog sitter for a few years. About: I love dogs and recently lost my Whoodle after 13 years. I have had dogs for most of my adult life including a Bichon Frise, Whoodle, and a Doberman mix. I have dog bowls, leashes, lots of toys and just need some cool dogs to hang out with :-) I am mainly looking to care for dogs on long weekends right now because I am back to working in office several days a week. I will be able to ensure the longest your dog will be left alone will be 4 hours. I have a large yard but not fenced in so I will be taking them out on a leash in the yard and for walks. I also have a park at the end of my street. I can do crate trained dogs but you would need to bring their crate. I do allow dogs on the couch and in the bed. I took care of a blind Bichon with diabetes for 3 years so I can care for older blind or deaf dogs and can administer insulin or other meds if needed.

Worked for a level 1 animal hospital during my pregnancy, learning the basics of emergency care for pets. I’m a stay at home mom with 2 dogs of my own that I’m already providing care and time for. I’m only away from home an hour or so at most to be able to come take care of my dogs again. I have any animals crated if I’m unable to keep my full attention on them, they are let out in a fenced yard every 1-2 hours for bathroom and extra play, and I have available extra space for special needs cases of pets that need their space.

In February of this year I got into a horrible accident and didn’t wake up for two days, I lived alone and my dog didn’t have anyone, I woke up in the ICU and Samantha was the first one I got a hold of knowing she had a key. She showed and saved my dogs life, my keys were lost in the accident and I had no way to get home. She safely got the key to my family and Obsidian is safe and healthy with me traveling across the United States and happier then ever. I couldn’t thank her enough for being that reliable. About: I have 4 cats and 2 dogs of my own who are very socialized! I’m great at training fur babies if they need any and I have lots of energy to keep up with them as well! My partner and I recently bought our home in Detroit that has a good size yard for play space for your dogs! I also do date night sitting in the surrounding areas so I have no problem driving out to give your fur babies a potty break and some love when you’re out at work. I have been doing house sitting along with pet sitting for some time now so I have great references if needed! I am married, no children yet and as I mentioned have 2 dogs and 4 kitties! They’re all very friendly and welcoming to others. I work from home so I have time to give love and as many potty breaks as they need while they are here! I treat all dogs like my own. I have a fenced yard and will do lots of supervised play time in it! My dogs love to play with other dogs as well, all supervised of course!
About: I am an experienced foster animal caregiver, and a teacher. I offer a totally open schedule during the summer and on weekends. I’ve taken care of animals since a young age; I’ve personally had, kittens, cats, dogs, puppies, chickens, fish, and hamsters too. I have experience in crate training, potty training, basic obedience and leash training as well. Currently I have a male Golden Retriever in my home who is not neutered due to breed standards- he will be as soon as he is old enough, and he is up to date on all his vaccines and shots. He is well mannered and loves all animals- we have hosted puppies and dogs through the foster rescue and all were successful :) I am currently a teacher, so my weekends and “breaks” are fully open; beginning in June will be home full time! I wake up pretty early and like to spend time in the backyard with my resident doggie and any fosters I have playing with toys, balls, or sticks. Then I move into a short training session based on what the pups need- if it’s just my resident dog I usually work on a new command or leash skills. We head inside and usually it’s nap time (where the pups can relax on the couch if they want)! After naps or relaxing time we go back outside for more playtime, or go for a walk and repeat throughout the day. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in backyard and a very friendly 10 month old golden retriever pup to keep your doggies company. I do have a separate “doggie room” which has crates, beds, toys, etc on hand just in case the pup needs a break or some adjustment time- and in there we have extra collars and leashes. We have two baby gates that block of the bathroom and front door area so the doggies don’t get into cleaning supplies or slip out the front door :)
About: I love animals of all kinds...cats, dogs, horses, lizards, reptiles. I grew up around large dog breeds and spent my childhood taking horseback riding lessons and playing in frog hollers. Now I have a cat of my own and would love to spend my summers off helping you with pet care, too. With a family member who works in vet medicine, I have some knowledge of pet care and pet health; including training, grooming, and dog-walking safety, and understanding pet behaviors. I also have previous experience pet sitting for friends and family, including varying feeding times and administering medications to pets. Pet safety has always been very important to me, so I always make sure my pets' vaccines are up to date, and I never let my cat out to roam outside. Dogs are always leashed, unless they are in their own private yard. I be sure to look out for other pets and animals while out to make sure everyone stays safe. I'm now so lucky to have a cat of my own who rules the house, loving all the attention in the world from her mom and dad. She loves treats and pets, and bird watching from the window. While my space is quite small for any boarding, I'd love to help you care for your furry friend by taking them on walks or helping out at home while you're away. About: I am first-aid certified for both cats and dogs by the American Red Cross. I currently work as a dog bather, and have had previous experience as a dog daycare attendant. I am the one my family calls on whenever they need a sitter for their furry/scaly friends, on top of caring for my own animal family members. I currently work as a dog bather, and the longest shifts I do are 9 hours maximum. My schedule is fairly flexible at the moment, so if your pet needs more frequent care/potty breaks, I will most likely be able to adjust my work schedule. Just let me know! In my eyes, pets should be treated like family. Although I cannot watch your pet in my own home, I will make sure they are extremely comfortable in yours while you're away. I will provide an appropriate amount of play time, make sure they get frequent potty breaks, feed them on their established schedule, and of course give them lots of cuddles if they like that!
About: I started pet sitting after getting my first dog 6 years ago. He’s well trained and knows a bunch of commands because I enjoyed training him! Since then I’ve fostered, dog-sat, and rescued a bunch of dogs and even some cats! I currently work 3-4 days a week so, I have a lot of free time! Pets are always given the option to socialize with us but if they prefer to be on their own to rest. We will not have visitors while your pup is a guest. I am a public school employee and do not work out of the home over the summer. Your pet will get plenty of attention and entertainment. I care for your dog as if it were my own. I can make accommodations on a dog by dog basis. My personal dogs have wildly different needs and I recognize that not all dogs have the same needs. I will do what is necessary to keep your dog happy, healthy, and safe.

“Of I could give Steven 100 stars I would. He did a fantastic job with my dog. I asked him could we meet before he watched her and he was now than willing. I asked because my dog doesn't care for men nor does she like other pets. When I introduced them she was snappy at first but warmed up to Steven. But Steven brought his dog out and I could not control her. She went right into attack mode and all I could think is, this is not going to work. Well me and Steven had a conversation on several ways to handle this. And ended up not utilizing any we talked about. He had her social with other dogs by the end of the day and they played together and say together. He sent me pictures and videos of the interactions and made me feel comfortable. When I picked her up he had everything ready for her to leave with and she was a happy dog. From this interaction I'm going to use Steven every time I need a sitter. I'm sticking with what worked and this worked for me. Thank you Steven you did a great job.”
