About: I have have had dogs and cats my whole life and have always loved them and wanted to work with animals since I was little. I have had pets as young as 4 weeks old to 18 years old, but I am comfortable working with all aged pets. I currently have three cats, Sadia, Mr. Orange and Oakley. I have had Sadia since she was a kitten and is almost 6 now. And the two boys I rescued within the past 6 months from being street cats and have fit so perfectly into our home. I’ve taken care of animals since a young age; I’ve personally had, kittens, cats, dogs, puppies, chickens, fish, and hamsters too. Currently I have a male Golden Retriever in my home who is not neutered due to breed standards- he will be as soon as he is old enough, and he is up to date on all his vaccines and shots. He is well mannered and loves all animals- we have hosted puppies and dogs through the foster rescue and all were successful :) I am currently a teacher, so my weekends and “breaks” are fully open; beginning in June will be home full time! I wake up pretty early and like to spend time in the backyard with my resident doggie and any fosters I have playing with toys, balls, or sticks. Then I move into a short training session based on what the pups need- if it’s just my resident dog I usually work on a new command or leash skills. We head inside and usually it’s nap time (where the pups can relax on the couch if they want)! After naps or relaxing time we go back outside for more playtime, or go for a walk and repeat throughout the day. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in backyard and a very friendly/playful golden retriever pup to keep your doggies company. I do have a separate “doggie room” which has crates, beds, toys, etc on hand just in case the pup needs a break or some adjustment time- and in there we have extra collars and leashes. We have two baby gates that block of the bathroom and front door area so the doggies don’t get into cleaning supplies or slip out the front door :)
About: I am back! After taking some time off caring for my senior pups I now have a younger dog that loves playmates. I would love to drop in and walk your dog for you when you cant! I offer walks +/- basic leash training also! I have been pet sitting dogs and cats over 20 years! I am a licensed veterinary technician and also train dogs and their families addressing behavior issues. Do you have cats? I would love to stop over and feed them, clean litterboxes, medicate, or just play and love on them! When available I am able to do dog walks while you are gone for an extended about of time I have loved animals since I was a very small child. I always wanted a pet, no matter the kind. My parents started me as a volunteer with a dog rescue around 10 years old, and I have never looked back! I am now a licensed vet tech and help friends and family with dog behavior issues, dog walking and drop in visits and also kitty visits including nail trims! Meet my pets Chicago is a 4 year old playful husky mix who enjoys sunbathing and meeting new friends, About my yard I have a completely fenced in chain link backyard. We have had a history of escape artists with our own dogs so some parts are very tall and reinforced! No toxic plants or pesticides used in our back yard either! My experience administering medication Absolutely. ---- vet tech here! LoL We took a break from sitting for a while when our dogs became seniors. We now have a dog that enjoys having friends over again! I also offer drop in services and would love to take your dog for a short walk, training walk or play time in the backyard if you need it! If your dog is staying in my home I would likely be here the entire time. I do require dogs are able to stay in a crate or a secure gated room when alone so the dog are separated when unsupervised.
“Brit did a good job walking my 130 pound American Akita named Apollo. Apollo walks good on a leash, but if he sees a squirrel he may pull. Today Brit was able to teach me something new. Today I learned when he pulls to bend my arm to get more control. Brit has lots of experience with dogs, even large breeds. Would def book her to walk him again.”

I received updates each day morning, and night, and she took my Moll Doll on tons of walks. Molly got to sleep on furniture and I can tell she had the time of her life in the new comfy environment.
