“Sabryna was really patient with one of my cats who’s slower to warm up to new people which was really appreciated. I’m glad I left my cats in her care while I was away and I’ll definitely book with her in the future.”

“Shiyuan was the best dog sitter i ever met! She sent every hour updates and my dogs loved her! You can really trust her with dogs! She takes good notes for dog’s routine and follow the directions. Will definitely hire for my upcoming trips.”

“Diane was a fantastic sitter! She was amazing and easy to work with throughout the process. She stayed in my home while I traveled and my deeply anxious rescue dog and my cats never missed me. Diane kept me informed while I was away, followed all my instructions, and my pets were safe and happy in my absence. I look forward to hiring her again. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her or rebook her. She’s truly a thoughtful and special person who will care for your pets so you can relax while you’re away.”

“Miranda was a great sitter! Our dogs seemed happy and content while we were gone. She was very good about sticking to their routine and gave us frequent updates. We will definitely use her again!”

“Kenna did a great job with our energetic puppy! She was communicative, kept the house super clean, and was overall a joy to work with. My dog loved playing with her pup! This was our first time leaving our puppy so it was such a relief not having to worry! I love that she stayed overnight- it made things much easier. She walked the dog everyday and I could tell my dog was so happy (and tired) when we got home!”

“We are so grateful to Jacqui for taking such good care of our animals while we had a long weekend out of the city. Our usually anxious dog and somewhat avoidant cat were immediately at ease with Jacqui. We got pictures and updates every day and we will absolutely book again the next time we need a sitter.”

I’m currently available with a flexible schedule and can accommodate walks, drop-ins, or pet sitting whenever you need. I’m happy to work around your schedule and give your pets the love and attention they deserve! 🐾❤️ Your pet’s safety and your home are my top priorities. I will follow your instructions carefully, respect your home and routines, and provide responsible, attentive, loving care while you’re away.
About: I worked at a dog daycare, so working with dogs is no trouble to me. Whether it's walking, playing, bathing, or feeding them, I'm up for it. I can fit pet care into mornings and evenings. I work afternoons, but I can check on the pet before I go to work. I can be flexible if need be. I care for pets at my clients home. This is what I'm available to do. This also helps the pet to not be so stressed out. They'll be in a place that is comfortable for them.
About: With 16 years of hands-on experience, I specialize in the pets who need a little extra: seniors, anxious or reactive dogs, and pets on medication schedules (oral and injectable). I’m an approved foster parent with Almost Home Animal Rescue, where I’ve cared for dogs with special needs, helped shy and fearful pups come out of their shells, and managed multi-dog households with conflict, including food-aggressive and territorial dogs. I’ve trained puppies, nursed blind senior dogs through their golden years, and treat every pet in my care exactly as I would my own two dogs at home. I’m equally comfortable with cats. I grew up with them, have cared for 5+ over the years, and even rescued a kitten from my previous neighborhood. Whether it’s a confident cat who needs company or a shy one who needs space and patience, I tailor my approach to what each individual pet actually needs. Clients tell me they return from vacation to a happier, calmer pet than when they left and that’s the standard I hold myself to. I’m currently working part time while I am in graduate school and my partner currently works from home most days so my schedule is very flexible for care. I am available weekdays except for Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings, as I coach a dance team during that time. We currently reside in a house in Farmington Hills with a huge fenced in backyard. The house has been puppy proofed as we approved foster parents with Almost Home Animal Rescue. When caring for a new pet, I always make sure to give them a comfortable and positive experience with me.
“Nick was great! He sent a number of updates and a few pictures, which was really helpful. I always want to know that our sweet Mischa is being taken care of, and I have no question that Nick did a great job. And as an added bonus, he left the house even neater than he found it!”

“Larry took great care of my dog while I was away. He was reliable, communicative, and made sure everything went smoothly. It was clear my dog was well cared for and comfortable. I really appreciated his help and would be happy to book with him again in the future.”

“Kateri (Rebekah) was amazing! We will definitely have her back! She took excellent care of our goldendoodle, sent pictures/updates every day, and went above and beyond to take care of our house while we were gone. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!”

“I was in need last minute for a dog sitter and Amy was very responsive. Titan my pup and I met with Amy prior to the reservation, and Amy was very kind, asked a lot of thoughtful questions and I could tell immediately was a huge animal lover! As for her services, she went over and beyond! From taking Titan on walks, Starbucks dates and long cuddles on the couch, I was afraid Titan’s heart was going to belong to someone else by the time I came back home. Setting all jokes aside, Amy was incredible, I will absolutely reach out to her in the future and would highly recommend her if anyone else is looking for someone to care for their pets.”

“Everything seemed to go well but we didn’t get many updates/pictures during her stay. The animals were happy and fed when we got back so I think all went well! We didn’t hear otherwise.”

The median cost per night for house sitting in The Eye is $50
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - The Eye
Our cats have always been very shy around new people, but Aurora was able to coax them out in almost no time during our initial meeting. Throughout the week, she sent us regular updates with plenty of pictures, and with each one we could tell that they were completely comfortable with how naturally they were acting. On top of taking excellent care of our cats and the house, she was also great with our bearded dragon, making sure she got her regular meals (bugs included) and checking her comfort level frequently. We would absolutely recommend Aurora to everyone who wants to make sure their pets have a genuine animal lover looking after them!

We left our spayed puppy with Phlippy over the Fourth of July weekend, and we could not have trusted her more. She was always punctual with our puppy’s medicine and followed our feeding and bedtime schedule exactly. When we came home, the house looked like no one had even stayed there overnight. Phlippy took wonderful care of both our puppy and our home, and we are so grateful for her help.
