I have an elderly, blind, partially deaf Boston terrier of my own so I am well acquainted with caring for dogs. I work from home quarter-time and have a lot flexibility. I am present and available to meet your dogs needs. The longest they would have to wait to go outside is two hours. I have a fully fenced in backyard and a walkable neighborhood! I have one small elderly dog that sleeps all day and keeps to herself. I have elementary age kids that are helpful and also love dogs.
About: I’ve always had great experiences of taking care of pets since childhood. From taking care of my own, pet sitting for friends while they’re out of town as well as working at a doggy daycare for a year. I have experience with both cats & dogs of various sizes and ages. I’m employed full time and unable to accept request Tuesday-Thursday. My availability is Friday-Monday for house sitting and Saturday & Sunday for dog walking and check ins. I cannot board pets at my home since I share my living space at this time, however, I’m opening to visit/stay at the client’s home if needed.
About: I've raised dogs as small and stubborn as Shitzu's and as big and smart as German Shepherds. I love dogs and will treat your fur baby better than many. I work for myself most of the time so when you need me I can be there except if I have a prior engagement or client. I have a fenced in yard if dogs are with me at my home and if at yours I'll be extra careful to care for your fur baby.
“Valerie is the best! My puppy loved her. She’s very experienced, caring and responsible. Lucy is training to be a therapy dog and Valerie did an excellent job using the specific commands Lucy is being taught. Also, Lucy is a challenge at five months and 50 pounds. Valerie had no problem, controlling her in a loving way.”

I have no problem sending pictures and keeping pet parents updated and informed of the care of their pets while in my care. I also allow video calls for pet parents that would like to ensure the safety of their pets.
“Valerie has been a fantastic dog walker for my pug, Steve. Communication has been super easy, she always leaves great notes (feedback and pictures) and brings lots of positive energy. Steve has been a very happy boy to have another friend to play with. Very highly recommended!”

“Hi highly recommend Greg! I was fortunate enough to not only book him last minute so my pup could get in a walk, but also able to do so on New Years Eve. My pup was obviously quite fond of him because he didn't want to stop playing with Greg once he brought him back home from the walk, and he continued to bring over one toy after the next to show him. I look forward to booking him again in the near future.”

“Samantha is amazing, she never failed to send pictures and get plenty of exercise with my insanely hyper dog, he just loved her. In February of this year I got into a horrible accident and didn’t wake up for two days, I lived alone and my dog didn’t have anyone, I woke up in the ICU and Samantha was the first one I got a hold of knowing she had a key. She showed and saved my dogs life, my keys were lost in the accident and I had no way to get home. She safely got the key to my family and Obsidian is safe and healthy with me traveling across the United States and happier then ever. I couldn’t thank her enough for being that reliable. I don’t know what I would ever do without my boy.”
About: Hi my name is Andreea and I am thrilled to introduce myself as a passionate animal lover and experienced pet sitter. With over a decade of experience in caring for animals, I have developed a deep appreciation and understanding for all kinds of pets. Growing up in a family that adored pets, I was fortunate to be surrounded by a variety of furry friends. Today, I am a proud owner of one amazing dog, Noodles (a Cane Corso mix). Aside from being a pet owner, I have also worked at a kennel called Paw Print Inn Resort in Novi, where I spent six months doing daycare and boarding for dogs of all breeds and sizes. I have also been pet sitting for many years, which has allowed me to develop a deep appreciation for the individual needs and personalities of each animal. Currently, I am 23 years old and enrolled in college studying Computer Science. In addition to my passion for animals, I am also a mother of two toddlers who have learned to love and respect animals just as much as I do. I believe that pets are part of the family and deserve the same love and attention as any other family member. I am excited to be a part of the Rover community and to help you provide the best possible care for your furry friends. Whether you need a trusted pet sitter or someone to board your pet, I am here to provide the loving care and attention they deserve. Thank you for considering me as your pet sitter! I am currently taking my college courses online, so I am available full time for pet sitting. I’m pretty flexible with my time, so any animals in my care receive full attention to ensure the best care. When I’m caring for pets in my home, I make sure they feel comfortable and safe. Dogs are taken out on walks regularly to make sure they get the exercise they need and also get plenty of playtime.
About: I have always been a dog and animal lover. I used to watch my neighbors’ dogs when they would go on vacation. I always had my own dog growing up- first a yellow lab mix and then an adorable little beagle. I have my own dog who is 9, Frankie, & I love to care for her. I have many years of experience volunteering at animal shelters and socializing dogs. When I lived in Seattle, I cared for a friend’s dog when she would be out of town on the weekends for work. I am available this summer to help care for your dogs because I’ll be studying for the bar (!) every day, so help give me a break from studying. 🤪 My sweet girl is pretty low energy and loves to hang out in the back yard, so she is pretty low maintenance, but of course I love to just hang out with her and care for her. I’m excited to hear back and have the opportunity to interact with some great dogs! I have experience caring for puppies, high-energy dogs, low-energy dogs, on-leash reactive dogs, senior dogs, and many breeds and sizes. If this is your first booking on Rover, feel free to use my code for $20 off: https://www.rover.com/sit/cassiw30987 I am available most days all day because I’ll just be studying all day this summer. Essentially I will follow the routine for however you prefer the walk or drop in visit to go!
