2. Lauren S.

“Lauren was great with my 2 recently rescued German Shepherds. They are a handful but she is very knowledgeable about dogs. They loved her. She sent pictures during her visits that gave me comfort that my dogs were well taken care of. Highly recommend her.”

3. Khelsi W.

“Khelsi cat sat for me for 21 days over the winter break. My cat is shy but she warmed up to Khelsi within a few days and began playing with her. Khelsi was very communicative with me throughout my time away and sent me lots of pictures and updates despite the fact that I was in a very different time zone and could not always respond to her right away. She also periodically cleaned up around my apartment and left a sweet gift for my cat and me when she left. This was my first long trip away from my cat and stopped being anxious about her because I knew she would be safe and cared for with Khelsi watching her. Thank you for everything, Khelsi!”

About: I am passionate about elevating dog sitting to an art form—where every walk is a mini-adventure and every nap is a luxury in my care. I have owned dogs my entire life and I absolutely love them like they are my family members. I love cuddling and loving on my own fur baby and I will definitely do the same with yours. I would love to do a meet and greet with your fur baby to make sure we are a great fit for one another as well as my fur baby. Please feel free to share any information with me so that I can give your pet the utmost care whether it’s their favorite treats to their favorite toys. Lastly, upon booking I will need verification that your pet is up to date on all vaccines as it is priority to protect my baby as well! I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies. They will be in great hands! I am currently working a full-time hybrid job. Some days I am fully at home while others I am fully in the field however, I always have time to run home to take care of my own pet. I have a large, fenced in yard and one fur baby who is currently almost two years old. She is very friendly and will provide your pet with well needed company. I keep healthy snacks and treats on hand at all times and I watch all pets very closely so they are always monitored.

About: I am a very compassionate person and love all types of animals, I think that our pets are an extension of our families and that their needs are just as important as our own, and making sure that they are happy and healthy. I would love to come and help take care of your animals and help to assist with any other household chores so that you can catch up on work, or anything else. I grew up taking care of a lot of animals, and personalities from hyper to lazy dogs, I’m an active person and would love to take your animals around the trails and parks we have in town, or just relaxing at home playing ball, I have a fenced in yard.

12. Lauri H.
“Lauri has watched my dog, Griffin, several times. She's the first person I contact of I am planning to go out of town because I know my dog and home will be lovingly cared for, I'll receive photos and updates throughout the visit, and I'll come home to a tired and relaxed pup! She's a true animal lover with two cats of her own. I highly recommend Lauri for any pet or home sitting or drop in visits!”

About: Ive been dogsitting for 4 years and have been taking care of horses for 7. I have two very energetic pups of my own so an active dog is no problem. I love going for walks and playing around , but id also love to just hangout. Although I am still in school, I am part of the co-op program. This means I am headed home around 11am on weekdays, so even on weekdays I am very flexible. Im currently in school from 8am to 11am on weekdays, so I can usually pop over in the middle of the day. I am super flexible! I take my pups on walks 4/5 days a week and play fetch everyday! Depending on your pets energy levels I can do the same. Im a total animal lover and enjoy just hanging out as well. I strive to be reliable, and I value responsibility. I was a lifeguard for 3 years, so I have training in emergency situations.

15. Katie K.
“I’m thrilled to share my positive experience with Katie! She is a gem of a dog sitter. From the moment I dropped off my dog, it was evident that she has a genuine passion for animals. The presence of a cat, who was surprisingly dog-friendly, added an extra layer of companionship for my pet. The spacious backyard was a doggy paradise, offering ample room for play and exercise. What truly stood out was the Katie’s remarkable patience and affection. They took the time to understand my dog's needs and provided a loving environment that felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for more than just a pet-sitting service. It's a haven where your furry friend will be showered with care, attention, and plenty of playtime."”

16. Monica M.

“Monica did an incredible job looking after our two cats! She went above and beyond by shoveling our walkway after a snow storm. Would 100% ask her to pet sit again!”

17. Danielle P.
“Outstanding! Danielle was truly a pet lover, punctual, accommodating and wonderful with our precious Pluto. Wish she lived in South Carolina. Thanks Danielle.”

18. Sydney M.

“This was our first time working with Sydney and we couldn’t be happier that she’s a new friend in our cat’s life! During our initial visit, we could tell that Sydney was such a kind and good person. Through all of the updates and she pictures sent over, we could see that our cat was very happy and felt loved, which is all you can ask for while away.”

About: Hi, I am a 40 year old companion enthusiast, who's interested in assisting those who are in need of a sitter. I currently have 1 indoor cat and feeds an outdoor cart. I live in a home that is in a neighborhood full of cats, and dog enthusiasts. The neighborhood is dog friendly, with other homes having 1-2. I have a primary partner who loves the company of other animals. My neighbor owns a male French Bulldog(fenced in). The house has a relatively small and fenced back yard, but enough room for romping purposes. There are parks in the neighborhood that are dog friendly, and open fields that are safe. Thanks for the consideration. About this sitter: I'm a 40 year old male who loves company companions big and small. To me, they are not just pets suited for certain tasks; they're life savers, friends, and all-around trust-worthy animals (if treated right). I decided to not only be a sitter for money purposes, but to be a help to both people and companions alike. If you're ever in the Detroit area (living or visiting), don't hesitate to look me up. It would be my pleasure to be a help. Why I love dog sitting I've been a dog lover since I was a little child. I had a dog that was primarily spaniel (a male named Buster). After a situation with neighbors, I was forced to take the dog to an animal shelter. My second dog was a mixture of Dalmatian and Pit Bull (a male I named Duke). After several years with the dog, he contracted an ailment, and I was unable to afford the proper treatment. About my yard My backyard is in the process of being renovated. It currently does not have a full fenced-in backyard. My experience administering medication I am quite comfortable administering medication, as long as the owner gives specifics as to how the medication is to be taken (time included) I'm currently in between jobs as I do freelance work. Most of my assignments I work from home, which gives me plenty of time to care for myself and others when needed. The house has a relatively small and fenced back yard, but enough room for romping purposes. There are parks in the neighborhood that are dog friendly, and open fields that are safe.

20. Megan G.
“Megan took such good care of our pup! She’s not just a thoughtful caretaker, but is also an expert in dog behavior. She’s great at designing enrichment activities to keep our dog happy and healthy, and easily accommodated her walking quirks and medication needs too. She’s reliable, super knowledgeable, and clearly cares so much for animals. She’ll always be our top choice for our fur baby!”
