About: Hi, my name is Brandon and I am a first year Masters student studying Biomedical Engineering. Animals have been a part of my life since my earliest memories. I've raised birds, turtles, snakes, iguanas, hamsters, cats and of course dogs. Whether your pup needs hours of fetch and park adventures or gentle walks and medication management, I adapt to their unique needs, diets, and energy level. I work from home and between myself and my girlfriend, it is rare for me to leave my pet alone for more than 1 hr. I have easy access to numerous parks within walking distance including Belle Isle. Your pet will not be starved for attention. My goal is to make your dog’s time with me feel like a happy stay-cation. Expect daily walks, individualized attention, plenty of rest when needed, and regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands With years of experience across all breeds and temperaments, I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet with someone new. I'm here to make that experience stress-free for both you and your dog, providing the reliable, communicative, and loving care they deserve. I welcome questions, meet-and-greets, and will always aim to make you and your pet feel comfortable and confident. Working from home affords me the time and flexibility to give my high maintenance corgi the attention she deserves. She’s rarely alone for more than one hour at a time. The first and most important step in caring for a new dog is to establish trust. As an experienced caregiver, I've learned that patience and compassion form the foundation of developing that all-important bond. Sixx is a great help in this endeavor as she is a very friendly dog and loves making new playmates. My place is fitted with webcams so you can check in on your pet and let them hear your voice. If your dog is crate-trained and finds it easier to adapt to a new environment through this method, I have one that can accommodate most sizes.

About: I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats and horses, so animals have always been a part of my life! Besides helping out with our own animals, I worked at a dressage barn throughout high school and showed horses throughout college. I have also taken care of family and friend's dogs and cats for extended periods of time. Pets have influenced my entire life and I understand the importance of every pet's health, safety and happiness. Besides caring for my own cat, I have an open schedule to give your pet the care and attention they deserve! My calendar is flexible to meet your pet-sitting needs. I currently do not offer pet sitting services at my home, but I am excited for the opportunity to take care of pets at a client's home. I prefer to meet the pet and go over the pet's needs with an owner prior to the owner being gone, so that I'm aware of the pet's environment and how I can best take care of the pet while their owner is away.

About: My family has always had dogs and from the age of about 8 I helped to potty train, crate train and care for 3 dogs. I've given many baths, administered lots of medication, clipped many nails and cleaned up many accidents. I've cared for senior dogs, puppies and everything in between. Now I have a dog all to my own and she thrives everyday! She's potty trained and crate trained and knows her basic manners and how to shake paws. I really just love dogs and would love the opportunity to make someone's pet feel special and cared for in their absence! I work from home, so I'm always at home with my own pet. I'm very flexible and free just about any time. I have reliable transportation and am always timely. I carefully follow all instructions left by pet parents and if I feel uncomfortable or unclear, I will always reach out to ask for guidance. I personally never walk my own dog off leash, as I worry about her safety and the safety of others, so I would always keep your dog on a leash. I love the dog park but if that is not your dog's speed, I love leisurely on leash strolls as well. I walk my own dog about an hour everyday so I'm always free to help get your puppy some exercise! I always carry water on walks and know when dogs get overwhelmed and/or tired.

About: Animals have always been a very big part of our lives, and still are with our beloved senior dog Norman! Tara grew up raising and training a horse to show, as well as caring for her own dogs. Alaine also grew up dogs and cats, and rescued Norman when he was about four years old. We both have flexible jobs that make spending time with pups on Rover easy for us. Tara is a freelancer and Alaine works from home full time. Both of us have experience watching our friend's dogs as well as Rover dogs. We have cared for animals of all ages, all sorts of energy levels, dogs with higher anxiety levels, some who find pulling on a leash their idea of a good time, and senior dogs that need a gentle hand with more naps! Your little (or big) love would be in great and loving care with us! Since Alaine works from home, you can rest assured knowing your dog will get frequent potty breaks, and lots of attention. During their stay, we’ll treat your baby just like our own! They will be able to roam the house, chill on the front porch, or sit in the office with Alaine for the day (the office faces the porch). We welcome your dog on the bed or furniture with us, but we will be sure to follow any rules you have around that, of course. We have a fenced in front and back yard, but we will go on walks too. We typically go for a short 1 mile jog each day, so you pup would be welcome to join us on that if you'd like! We also have experience with picky eaters, pill takers, and senior needs. We will do our best to keep your pup in as much of their routine as possible while in our care so it’ll help cut down on any anxiety of them missing you. Speaking of missing you, we’ll be sure to send lots of photos because we know we love getting them of our baby while away too!

Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets . Im a huge traveler and plan to rescue all animals .And create a magical environment for these magnificent creations. In the mean time I’d like to continue spending my time with different pets from all walks of life . I’m currently a full time entrepreneur and have the most flexibility when it comes to my schedule . About: Almost all of my experience as a dog owner and sitter is with dogs that have come from shelters or other adopted situations. I have owned “retired” greyhounds that were severely traumatized, I have cared for small dogs with unknown, but clearly extremely difficult, past traumas, and I have stayed and bonded with boxers and pit bulls who are slow to trust but then become bed-hogging cuddlers! Recently, I had my first experience helping train a puppy! I spent five months with a family and their sweet cavipoo house training and leash training. I teach from home and so I am always home! Well, except for the occasional errand, appointment, etc. So, I would love the extra company and the excuse to get out of the house and get some exercise! I live in an apartment building so I do not have a fenced yard. However, I live on Lafayette Park where I walk daily. It is incredibly safe and I have gotten to know many of the pet parents in the building and the neighborhood. I have two five month old kittens that I adopted from a foster home two months ago where they lived with a dog. I am hoping to keep them exposed to other animals so that when I have a larger place, I will be able to expand my family of pets.
