“We have a Boarder Collie which we got just before Covid so he doesent like strangers coming in to the house. We found Michael on Rovers and from the first time he came to our house he knew how to handle Teddy. He came twice to meet Teddy and then we went away for a week. Michael kept us updated with pictures and when he had been fed etc . If you have a dog that’s nervous or anxious I highly recommend Michael he’s excellent your dog will receive 5 star service .”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life within my family home and recently moved out and got my own pup he’s 4 months old now and is amazing at listening due to the patience and work I’ve put into making him feel comfortable in his own home. I understand every dog is unique and have dealt with big and small dogs throughout my life. I know that dogs need both physical and mental stimulation in order to be as happy as they can be and I am happy to search activities to suit your dogs age and breed I’m currently at home a lot in the day which means I have a lot of spare time to play! I do have my own pup I need to care for but my partner can also look after him as and when needs be. Monday to Friday and free almost all day I’m happy to follow whatever routines you have for you furry friend, whether this includes playing, feeding or doing a silly dance I’m happy to do whatever you ask

About: I’ve always had and cared for dogs and more recently cats. I have looked after and walked family and neighbours dogs and cats as well as my own. A few years ago our Hungarian Vizsla, Poppy, died and I felt her lose greatly, she was one of the family and went everywhere with us, sharing our favourite past time of walking, hiking and enjoying the outdoors. More recently we adopted a cat that is our new furry member of the family. I love animals and am currently completing a Level 3 diploma in Canine care, behaviour and welfare to deepen my knowledge and understanding of canine psychology and behaviour. Please be assured that your pet will be given the best care and consideration and be treated like part of the family whilst being looked after. I am currently transitioning from being a primary school teacher after opting for voluntary redundancy to embrace a new direction and adventure. Caring is in my nature and personality and something I get great personal satisfaction from. I’m adept in waking early and having an active and busy schedule so feel this would enhance my lifestyle perfectly. I have a fenced secure garden. I have one cat who likes to come and say hello but is often on his own adventures. When walking your family member they will be on the lead until call and response is established. I am DBS cleared and have certification. Before caring for you furry family member I like to meet and greet and find out a bit more about them.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life for over 40 years. I’ve looked after my own dogs and my children’s dogs. I have no full time pets at home. I can provide a safe and secure home for your dog to suit your needs. I have a very large fenced and secure garden with access to the country side from my front door. I work from 5 am to 12 pm Monday to Friday. However my work is very flexible and I can meet most needs in looking after a pet. I am able to dog walk either very early in the mornings or afternoons at 12 pm. Within the time that I am at work. Your pet will be in a very secure garden with ample shelter or shade. I am happy to dog sit overnight at your home. I do spend most weekends away, however I am flexible and willing to discuss weekend dog sittings. I have a very secure large garden that is fenced. During the day your pet will be outside with plenty or shelter or shade. When I return home from work. ( generally after 1pm ) your pet is free to share my home and my living space.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was around 12 years old and have many years experience in dog sitting for friends and family alongside my partner. Since we don't have a dog of our own but love spending time with furry friends, we thought we could offer a safe, loving and reliable service of dog walking, home visits or pet sitting on the weekends. About: I grew up with large and medium size dogs, and I got my own little muppet 4 years ago. We often dog sit for friends when they are out for a day for a holiday. I’m working a 4in 4 off schedule, however I’m working from home with the ability keep a feeding schedule, get some play breaks, take the rascals out for a walk or just let them out to play in the garden. I have a fenced garden and a 4 year old cavapoochon to keep your doggo accompanied and well tired. Also have plenty of toys, spare leads and collars for emergency situations :)

About: My approach to pet sitting is rooted in a deep understanding and genuine love for all animals, which I believe sets me apart from other sitters. They’ll receive the best care while they stay here. They’ll be let out in the garden several times a day and can relax on our warm and cosy living room sofa bed or kitchen on a large memory foam dog bed. They’ll get to socialise and play with my 2 best friends, Bailey and Millie (Australian terrier & Chi) who are both very friendly and welcoming to other dogs and owners. All they want to do is play, eat, nap and repeat! :D I believe in maintaining open and transparent communication with pet owners, providing regular updates, photos, and videos to keep them connected with their furry friends. I work from home during the week so have plenty of time and attention to give to the dogs and their needs.I always keep an eye and hang out with them too on the sofa and kitchen. If I am upstairs then the wifi camera is constantly on so I can see what they're up to. I know it must be tricky and difficult for a pet owner to leave their best friend at a strangers house, as I feel the same way. Rest assured they will be treated with love and care and will be fed at consistent times every day and let out for a toilet straight after. They'll receive constant attention and also send you selfies to keep you smiling all day!

I have owned dogs my whole entire life and I have always been an advocate for the correct care of all pets! I currently work in a dog daycare which I previously volunteered at, overall I have been here 3 years. Although this is my current job, I do have a lot of availability to care for your pets so if you just pop me a message, I can arrange a time and date suitable to your needs. I’m no stranger to long dog walks however my current pooch prefers her leisurely strolls so I would love to go on adventures with your pups. I hold a Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Animal Management with a grade Merit, Merit, Pass. I am also certified in canine first aid and dog walking and pet sitting. I have also completed an introductory course to canine training. I have certificates to prove all of these and my DBS certificate should be with me soon. I also have experience with senior dogs and pups. I do currently work in a dog daycare however I have lots of availability throughout the week. I’m available all the time on weekends and bank holidays and throughout the rest of the week, I will update my availability. About: I've taken care of family dogs since I was a teen and trained them. I'm very hands on and regularly watch a friends energetic pup each week. I am local to Wigan and can drive to you and also use the car to explore new areas nearby that your dog might not have experienced yet! My flexibility in work shifts means that I can be available at variable hours so I'm happy to find a plan that works for you. I currently work full time but I have a mixture of shifts with quite a few rest days throughout the week. I also have a full week off each month which provides more flexibility. My calendar reflects the days that I am completely available all day. I may be able to provide services on days that I am working but this will depend on timing, I am happy to discuss. About: I am a calm, patient and playful person that loves animals! Ever since I was a young child, I grew up surrounded by animals, especially cats and dogs. I had to interact with all sorts of animals, so I’m familiar with their behavior and body language. I am a patient person, who respects personal space and understand when they want to be left alone. I also love playing with them and keep them entertained, stroke and groom them. I am currently on a gap year so I’m always at home. I am free all the time so I’m available any time of the day I live in a 3 bedroom house with a spacious fenced garden where your pets could spend some time outside if desired. About: I have a cocker spaniel named Alfie who is turning one soon, he is my best friend and we love going for walks and playing in the garden. I have had a dog all my life growing up from German Shepard's to rescue dogs so have a lot of experience in a variety of breeds.
