About: I have had and been around dogs my entire life. Bassett Hounds were my guilty pleasure. We live in rural South East Cornwall on a multi generational 5 acre small holding. We have a completely secure 2.5 acre paddock and we are fortunate enough to have access to fantastic walks along the River Lyhner and Bodmin Moor. After our last Bassett passed away we decided that we would not replace him. Previously, we'd provided dog sitting only for friends and colleagues for a number of years but have now decided to open our day care and boarding services at our beautiful property to a wider circle. About: My name is Daryl, I've been a dog lover since I was a small child when my father's friend's dog gave birth to a litter of puppies that I absolutely fell in love with. Since then my family has had five dogs (as well as many other animals) of various shapes and sizes, some of which can be seen in my photos. Throughout my teenage years I was the main dog walker in the house so have been walking and caring for dogs for 20+ years! I recently adopted Cooper, a 4(ish) year old German Shepherd cross who has quickly taken over my life - we go for long (2.5 mile minimum) walks every day and would love to have some extra company. I work from home full time so your dog would never be left alone and would be given plenty of attention, not to mention regular toilet breaks in my walled garden/yard. I work from home full time Monday to Friday so am always available during the week for anything from a couple of hours to a full day! I have a walled yard with a lockable gate that your dog will have full access to. My dog Cooper will be here to keep yours company - he's a big lad but super friendly and not at all territorial, he just loves to play. Dogs are welcome to get on the furniture and make themselves at home, I'm not precious. I can feed your dog if requested, all food and treats are grain free.

“Emma & Lawrence were excellent - the girls loved them! We have never left them before but a family party meant we needed to find someone to look after them for the afternoon while we were on holiday in Devon. Nothing was too much trouble - I had to change the drop off time & Emma was happy for us to drop off slightly earlier. They welcomed our Frenchies as if they were their own, made us feel really happy that the dogs were in safe hands & sent us off to our party. The girls were clearly comfortable as they sat on Lawrence’s knee & got on well with the resident dogs. Even when we went to collect them, they were clearly happy to be with Emma & Lawrence & weren’t that bothered that we were back!! We would highly recommend Emma & Lawrence if you are looking for a home from home for your dogs. We would definitely use them again.”

About: We have had Milo for 8 years and regularly look after my best friends bedlington whippet. We will treat your dog like our own with lots of love. Joel works from home full time so is very flexible. I've just graduated from vet school, but don't start working until mid September, so I am around all day during the summer. We are very relaxed and will allow the dogs to be on the sofa and bed. We have a fenced garden and can let the dogs out as often as you would like us to. We would never leave your dog alone. Milo has lots of food allergies so we are very sensible and don’t leave food lying around etc.

I got lots of cute photos of him making himself totally at home and getting lots of lovely scratches and cuddles from Joanne and her husband. Joanne is clearly a huge dog lover and wants to do the very best for the dogs she has in her care, and understands they're all individuals with their own quirks and needs. She asked lots of questions about Frumii's routine and what he likes etc. to make sure he had the best stay which I was really grateful for - as was Frumii! I recommend her highly.”
