Dog Walking in Tameside

About: My partner Scott grew up with dogs and I have been caring for family and friends dogs for over 5 years on overnight stays, walks and daycare, and now we have had our own for nearly 3 years since she was a puppy. With our springer spaniel Georgie, we have been through puppy training, Kennel Club training and more recently gundog training so able to cope with dogs of all ages and have knowledge on working breeds. Our springer spaniel absolutely loves to run and play with other dogs but also loves a good nap on the sofa so would be a good companion during the dog’s stay. We love going for walks, to coffee shops and to the pub with the dogs as part of our outings at the weekends as well as cosy nights at home on the sofa to meet as many of your dog’s needs as possible! We both work full time on a hybrid basis, meaning there would always be someone home with the dogs - our dog has a garden to play in and lunchtime walks in the week. At the weekend and in evenings we go for walks and outings to ensure the dog has a good time. We have a fully enclosed garden and plenty of inside space for the dog to play and snooze too. We can accommodate the dog to sleep anywhere overnight, as you wish with a crate, dog bed or wherever they are most comfortable. Our dog sleeps in the kitchen or living room but can be flexible for your dog’s needs.

About: I am a big animal lover and have had a rescue dog for 9 years where I have done behaviour training and helped her to socialise. I have also looked after several of my friends dogs regularly who all feel trust and reassurance that they will be well looked after. I have been volunteering at a dog rescue shelter for over 12 years too including doing inductions to new volunteers, dog walking and playing with dogs in the exercise yards, and experience with all types of dogs including reactive, nervous and senior dogs. I am honest, reliable, flexible and adaptable and am often free during the week including weekends and evenings so try to be available to meet your needs and help out when I can. I offer a pre-meet and greet and listen to your pets needs so they will be well looked after. I will look after your animal with care, food, medication, love and exercise requests, and follow instructions. I will send regular updates and photos for your peace of mind and reassurance. I am fully understandable of rescue, nervous and senior dogs and am DBS checked.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for the majority of my life whether it be my own cats or family and friends dogs and cats. I’ve always loved taking care of animals and helping out so taking them for walks or looking after them for periods of time when needed, making sure they’re happy and well looked after brings me so much joy. I am currently working from home trying to start my own photography business so i am very flexible and can provide drop in visits/ walking services whenever needed. I will always keep your dogs safe and on the lead when on walks, as well as always checking with you on whether your dogs are okay to interact with other dogs on the walk or not, if they are i will always keep an eye on body language and other signs of stress when they are around other dogs. Your dogs safety and happiness is my main priority when looking after them When doing drop in visits i will make sure your cat/dog has food in their bowl, has been to the toilet and has had a good amount of play/cuddle time. I am happy to do drop in visits for longer if you need me to! as long as both you and your furry friend are happy then i don’t mind!. I will also make sure the house is safe, ensuring doors and windows are locked upon leaving.

About: I am fully insured and have a Level 3 qualification in dog daycare and boarding, alongside being canine first aid trained. I have a friendly chihuahua x jack russell named Neil who loves having a friend over to stay :) Your dog will have free roam of the house and a secured back garden for toilet breaks. I will follow their normal feeding and walk routine to make them as comfortable as possible

About: I’ve looked after dogs for my family as friends ever since I can remember. Golden Retrievers, Bernese Mountain Dogs and German Spitz Dogs are amongst the many types I have had the pleasure to care for. Whether it’s going for a walk, feeding or bathing, I feel the joy and privilege every day of getting to be around these furry friends. I’m at home 24/7 , so would have all the time in the world to play with your four-legged friends. I’m available weekdays and at weekends for boarding or day care, where there would always be a bit of extra TLC from my family. I have a high-fenced back garden along with two friendly dogs to keep your pet company, but if need-be, I also have a segregated dog-house. Nearby there’s ample opportunity to go for walks in open countryside and parks.

About: I currently have three Siamese cats and previously owned two dogs, one Beagle and a Jack Russel all for over 20 years, which i have all adored and treat them just like my children, I have previously looked after my friends and neighbours pets who all put 100% trust in me, I love all animals and have also cared for a chinchilla, rabbits, Guinea pigs and tropical fish whilst people have been on holiday or had to be away for work or business, I care for all animals just as I would treat my own, they receive all of my love care and attention and can cater to all their needs or special requirements, you can be assured your pets will be in safe hands with me. I work from home as a designer so I have great availability throughout the day including evenings, and weekends, I don’t do overnight house sitting, I can look after your pets with just 2 days of notice. I have a walled garden which makes my home extremely safe, my cats are kept upstairs, I have no issues with handling dogs and cats and find it easy to get them into a crate or carrier.

About: Based in ASHTON UNDER LYNE 🥰 I love animals so so much and have been taking care of peoples pets for as far as I can remember, I love being asked to take care of someone’s pet, it makes me so so happy. From my neighbours dog, cat to helping my friend who is also a dog sitter! It brings so much joy into my life. I used to have my own cat, Tiggy, who lived until 19 years old, I miss him dearly. I work 9-5 but remotely on Mondays and Fridays. I love going to walks in my spare time 🥰 so animal company is even better, I love all animals and not afraid of any!! Over the years I’ve learnt about different animals needs. I think it’s important to understand the animal as an individual in order to keep them happy. For example one cat might hate belly rubs whereas another will love them! (My cat didn’t approve)

I work part-time from Sunday to Thursday, 6 PM to 10 PM, so if that doesn’t interfere with your needs, I’d be more than happy to take care of your pets. I’m also completely free on Fridays and Saturdays. ^ ^ I have two dogs at home that I take good care of. I make sure they feel comfortable and loved, take them on walks, and always pay attention to their needs.
